    I just mounted a EP5 on my AR 50 last night I haven't shot it yet I guess if I have problems I'll give these a try.

    For 4g extra weight I’ll sacrifice the weight for the extra strength👍

      Totally and not much more money!

    So the ring itself is still aluminum and the titanium is just the sliver clamp portion?

      This is correct. That small part had a failure rate and a lot of subsequent warranty claims from hard hitting platforms.

    Fast rough reference. Ti is half the weight of steel. alu. is half the weight of Alu. Only important issue is weighty to strength ratio. All else a moot issue or advertising gimmick.
    We Knife Makers use ti because it hold its surface finish many times better than Alu. But weighs more. ;
