It would have been nice that the factory could've placed markers on the grey housing to be able to properly put the appropriate magnet on the sweet spot. I like your comment even though it was four years ago already.😊
I had the exact same issue yesterday as in the video. The manual said to go over the idlers and under the main pulleys. Someone mentioned on here to go under the idlers and over the main pulley and YES it worked. It would stop as it should when the magnets met the limit switch. I did reversed the green and red wires that come out of the limit switch since the main pulley was working in reverse order but hey it works!!!
I'm going to do this, since I'm having the same problem, as when i close the gate, I'm actually opening it... the pulley is reversed and can't put on automatic close and opening... hopefully this would help
@@wilsonagudo1671 When you change how the chain it probably doesn't matter but the machine donesn't know what open/close is unless you flip the left/right switch. Also the magnet location needs to be higher/lower for open/close i believe.
I just finished two gates and put two photo sensors. First you have to adjust your magnets while gate is closing and opening. Maybe you don’t but that’s how I did both of mine. Remove the cover on the unit and mark a half way point of sensor pick up on receiver part of sensor. Also on mine magnets I had to add another part of the magnet to get closer to receiver. I just magneted on to the other magnet. I noticed you have have the chain under the center gear. Place the chain on top of center gear not the bottom. I know instructions say the bottom but just trust me it works. I learned this from a video from Heritage Farms on RUclips. Here are also my notes I had on my phone. (Copied and pasted) 1. Back gate magnet is in closed position and on the bottom sensor. 2. Magnet is on the top for open gate. 3. Chain is on top of center sprocket. 4. Switch in Right (Forward) hand application.
The heights on the magnets are the ones that mark the stopping directions, not the markings on them. If you change the heights, the motor will seek to find the off switch by its height.
Why would you swap the magnets from side to side. They are just regular magnets. The motor doesn’t know the difference between one or the other just because you wrote a letter on them 😂.
Reverse the chain on the gears. Instead of under the 1st gear(idler), over the 2nd motor drive gear, under the 3rd gear(idler), go UNDER the motor drive gear and OVER the idler gears. Or switch the wires OPLM and CLLM on the X7 terminal.
Having the same problem. Did you find out? Thanks Mine says to throw dip switch 1 & 2, open gate, wait for the time you want, close gate then throw dip switch 1.
Lo que le esta pasando es que los magnetos se colocan a diferentes Alturas el del frente mas arriba y el de atras abajo / the problem that he has is that the magnetic stop parts one goes higher than the other side that's way he is having a hard time getting it to work
You have to place the magnets at two heights, the close limit switch is higher than the open one, it is in the READ ME CAREFULLY booklet wrong

This is very helpful, this is my fist install.

Cool 😎
I’m having the same issue. How did you fix it?
You have to reverse the position of the magnet. There is an upper and lower position for open and close.

Como se programa el beeper del motor co-z de cadena

Where can I but the magnet switch?
Did you find the fix having same issues.

@Tes Tos Thats what I said.
Yup handyman herb was right thanks dawge the magnets are supposed to be set at a different hight
where does the magnet have to touch to the motor?

Magnet too far out

That’s exactly his problem.
It’s too far your have to set the magnet so that it’s practically touching the box
Acabamos de instalar un motor de esos pero cierra y abre bien una vez o dos y luego cierra muy despacio o se para antes de cerrar

Does anyone know how to change the settings of the gate so it closes automatically after 30 seconds of it being opened manually?
Having the same problem. Did you find out? Thanks Mine says to throw dip switch 1 & 2, open gate, wait for the time you want, close gate then throw dip switch 1.
put the limit switch 2on and 3on that eliminate the automatic close
