The pianist that introduces them is the legendary David Foster who composed The Prayer and so many other legendary hits.
The event in Las Vegas was built around him and all the performers were invited by him.
He said introducing Lara to another song in the same event : "I’m gonna introduce you to someone…
It’s gonna blow your mind !
Her voice, well, I can only describe it as heavenly.
When she burst onto the scene, we couldn’t believe what we were hearing, it was a voice like from another planet or something!
She made her mark here and then she conquered Europe where she has lived for most of her life.
I’m so fortunate to live in a world of great voices but believe me this voice is at the top of the heap of great voices. (…)
Wait til you hear this woman sing.
    Please welcome … Lara Fabian!"
David is canadian as Lara and he produced her for a rendition of the Canadian National Anthem, probably one of the best ever.
Michael Bolton also is an absolute fan of Lara. He said after this event:
« Lara has recorded with me a duet, The Prayer, that David Foster wrote and produced. She flew in miraculously through Paris, strikes, flights delays and all hours of travel, to arrive just in time to perform with me at the David Foster and Friends event.
Besides being an absolutely beautiful woman and one of the most warmest sincere people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, Lara has been blessed with a phenomenal voice and spirit that makes her clearly one of the wonders of the world.
She sings from the deeper part of her heart with divine tones, and whenever she wants such power, she takes flight and elevates everyone watching and listening.
Seal and I stuck up to the side of the stage to watch her sing "Caruso" and were both blown away, as was the audience. »

At this dvd David Forster said " She flew from Russia where she just had a huge concert just few hours ago, she came straight to L.V and she is now here to sing for us. She had no time to resting or rearsheal after 12 hours in an airplane." ;) They also didn't practice together before this lovely performance. Lara just made it from Moscow (after her concert) directly to L.V and started singing with him. She is so professional and confident.
Did you notice one of the backing vocals claping hands at the ginal note the both made, I mean Lara's modulation at this final note is INSANE, switch from mixed to head then mixed chest again going higher EFFORTLESS. The one and only Lara Fabian as David Forster said.
Ps: She also sang Caruso that night and David himself almost had an orgasm after her performance. Seriously. 😊😅❤

a song by Lara about her daughter
and the anguish of being a mother
    ‘le coeur qui tremble"
    ruclips.net/video/NdTfhnWNGsw/видео.htmlsi=GxEt5EGQN4frBc-c
    I open the door
And feel my hand on the knob
    You never know
    What might happen to you
    You know outside men fall
    With the night
    I'd like to protect you
    When the cats are grey
    I'll give you the name
    Bright city streets
Keeping you out of dark corners
    The dead ends, the fools
    Their arms outstretched too fast
    Like gnarled branches
I'd so much like to avoid you
    All these empty promises
    But you'll do
    As you see fit
    You'll see
    No story is like you
    Don't blame me
If I do more than I should
    It's in spite of myself
My soul will always be on the lookout
    And even together
    My heart will always tremble
    You'll take boats
    Waiting for you to return
    You'll take trips
That will want to turn short
    But wherever you go
    I'll keep your departure
    Your departure in my heart
    Like the last impact
    My child you will take
    Your life with your arms
    I'll spend mine
    Watching over you
    Today you fall asleep
    In the next room
And I pray that nothing will separate us
    But you'll do
    As you see fit
    You'll see
    No two stories are alike
    Don't blame me
If I do more than I should
    It's in spite of myself
My soul will always be on the lookout
    Even when we're together
    But you'll do
    As you see fit
    You'll have
    A little bit of life
    Don't you worry
If I can't sleep in peace
    It's in spite of myself
I'll always have my soul on the lookout
    And even together
    My heart will always tremble

By the way, Lara is belgian. Afterwards she took also canadian nationality. She's very good, but not in a league with celine dion, whitney houston and mariah carey. For me, we are talking between championship and premiere league.

This is beautiful but, please react the original of this song, performebd by Celine Dion with Andrea Bocelli. Imbeatable. Beyond amazing. And David Foster wrote the music for them
