  • Intellijel Cascadia: An advanced, performance-oriented, semi-modular synthesizer.
    Cascadia is packed with a mix of classic East and West Coast synthesizer blocks. Normalized connections let you get straight to the sounds inside. Or, let your imagination run wild and patch any of the modules together however you choose. Make small tweaks to the architecture, or re-route the entire synth to your liking-the choice is yours!
    A massive semi-modular system in a small case with the footprint of a laptop. Cascadia has MIDI in/out/thru/USB, Eurorack compatible signal levels and pro-level audio I/O to interface with the rest of your studio or get your studio started.
    Features:
    Performance-oriented, "East and West" Coast modern analog semi-modular synthesizer
    -101 jacks (plus 10 on rear), 34 sliders, 16 knobs, 28 switches, 36 leds and 5 push buttons
    -Two precision analog VCOs (VCOA has TZ-FM with INDEX VCA, PWM and SOFT/HARD sync options)
    Eurorack compatible signal levels
    Cascaded 4-Pole multimode filter with extensive modulation options and unique modes
    ENV A: Versatile ADSR / AHDSR envelope generator with HOLD function and dynamic level/time control
    ENV B: Complex, beat syncable, multimode function generator with Envelope, LFO, and Burst generator modes
    Triple analog LFO with linked, divisible rates and CV control
    Comprehensive and precise MIDI to CV and GATE implementation with additional synced/tapped LFO and CLOCK outputs
    Six channel waveform mixer with asymmetric soft clipping
    Extensive utility section that includes Noise, S&H, Envelope Follower, Attenuverter, Buff Mults, Summer, Inverters, and connection to a digital potentiometer based guitar pedal expression control interface.
    Analog ring modulator
    Parallel “West Coast” style wavefolder
    Auxiliary VCA and 4-Pole Diode Ladder VCF combination for additional dynamics
    External effect send/return loop with line or guitar pedal levels and wet/dry mix
    Global output drive circuit with bypassable asymmetric soft clipping
    Balanced 1/4" line inputs and outputs plus a dedicated headphone output
    Very Compact (fits in a backpack) and durable powder-coated enclosure with bespoke oak wood sides.
    Comes with 14 assorted patch cables, USB-A to USB-C cable, and an international power supply.

      Make sure you keep your effects and sequencers; pretty glaring omissions on this guy for it to be touted as a "stand-alone" unit. Sad too, cause everything else is 11/10!

    Congratulations with Cascadia.
    Such a well thought through synth, that is going to wreck minds and sound systems for years to come. Really enjoy the Arp & Roland aesthetics combined with that Intellijel touch to bring coasts and sounds together. Thank you Vanvouver massive to bring this to this to our synth needy world. An undertaking and an engineering fest no doubt. The SSL knobs too are a nice touch. Merci beaucoup!

    • @danjelvantijnintellijel756
      @danjelvantijnintellijel756 Год назад +1

      $2149USD = $1959 euro

    • @peterpalko6962
      @peterpalko6962 Год назад

      I hear you, man, 2300 USD is a heap of money - BUT if you take into consideration to buy an intellijel Palette case, a power supply, you put a midi 2 cv converter, a noise generator, 2 lfos, the utility modules (mult, attenuverters, burst generator, not even speaking of the ability of being able to control the pedal), the 2 filters (one can double as a LPG), the modulation busses then you will end up pretty close to this price point, and then you have to patch them yourself - So this system allows you to have an amazing standalone, or a beefed up extension in a small form factor - and instead of the cable spaghetti, the normaled connections are an another benefit. So this is kinda like a state-of-the-art system, and the sum of the parts makes it such a great package... It is worth the premium IMHO

    Meh, these attempted hype builds are just annoying. Be like the greats of eurorack and synths who don't need this artificial enthusiasm builders to have their products realized as awesome. The best companies just surprise you and say here is what we've been working on and we did our work so we know you'll like it.

    • @jdanielcramer
      @jdanielcramer Год назад +20

      Actually, Intellijel has a long history of having products ready to go without a bunch of pre-hype. Cascadia seems to have taken much longer but it could be ongoing issues with sourcing parts (that has plagued many builders) 🤔
