Hey, amazing video! I'd like to ask if you used any case or screen protector when you had the phone before or now too. Did you use it for 12 pro max? Does the original gorilla glass or ceramic screen protection is enough against serious break or normal scratches? I hope you do respond.

My hands and pockets starter suffering since the iPhone 6 came out (5 was still perfect for me). Phones continued to get bigger and bigger until this Mini came out. I just love it!
@@mirzaizazahmed3201 They're the two phones I've owned, 5S and 16 SE. I agree - beautiful phones. I've got my 5S in Space Grey and kept in almost perfect condition, and although I don't use it anymore, I still pull it out to admire sometimes!

The Mini's so nice, and I've noticed it's the one I recommend the most to people, despite myself using a 12 Pro Max. Even then for myself, I find myself tempted trade it in for a Mini.
Was excited by the mini when it was announced. Bought it when it came out. No regrets. Hope they keep making the size. It feels like a phone vs larger sizes, for all the reasons you gave. Great video.

I preordered the iPhone 13 mini in Starlight. Love the pocketable size and my hands do not cramp. I live in Alaska and I like my phone close to my body to keep it warm. Battery not an issue since I use my iPad for watching movies, gaming and RUclips. Excellent video and your voice is engaging and clear. Great rhythm too.

To get all those awesome features in that super-convenient size really is a revolution of its own; I still have my 5S 'cause the size keeps me sane during many of my basic phone uses - the larger phones just can't match the convenience of this size. The mini, with its size, these features, at this price, it would be very surprising if more people did not buy it (I do feel the word "mini" is ruining its sales more than they realize, though). There's a reason why Steve Jobs was always adamant that this was the size a phone should be.
I sold my 12 pro max and went back to my 8 plus. Then I upgraded to the green mini. No regrets!! The mini is basically the screen size of the 8 plus, but SHARPER, way more crisp display, excellent camera, and the comfort of owning a small "normal" sized phone, man I dont know what I was thinking when I was using a frisbee for a phone. I see people using pros or pro max and im like 🤦🏻♀️ Also the 12 pro max gave me wrist /forearm issues, the ortho specialist I saw said it could be from over extending my thumb😑
This was my first time seeing a video by you. I must say it was enjoyable. I have a mini and was really considering getting the 13 mini. I really love this phone a lot. I will agree with the keyboard and the recent heat issues. I’m really unsure why the heat issue has started but aside from that it’s amazing. I scared that there won’t be a 14 mini. Either way I really enjoyed the video planning to sub.

I switched from XR to SE a few months ago, which made me fall back in love with small form factor phones since iPhone 5C. I bought 2 of them switching between to some android phones in between, but the simplicity, small size and sheer performance of 5C made me get it again. Now, I have ordered 12 Mini, since I got brand new at roughly 512 USD / 37,999 INR in an ongoing sale in India. SE had some compromises, but I love the touch ID on that device; with the 12 Mini now at prices equal to SE being sold (Non-sale prices) in India, I just had to jump to better phone. Maybe, I will repeat the same next year when iPhone 13 Mini goes in sale. I just hope Apple keeps the "Mini" line or re-introduce it once every 2 years as limited edition item, in case profit is what they are looking for. I am pretty sure making it limited edition item will make it sell like hot cakes, especially in the minimal, small form factor loving iPhone community.
Just got a mini coming from my 6S Plus. I was surprised that the screen is very similar in size other than the aspect ratio. Weird I thought going big phone is the only way, but the mini has changed that for me. Really like the portability and it seems I haven’t lost any functionality.
I use cameras on the iPhone so much. It’s the only reason I use the Pro Max. If they’d give me the camera system from the Pro Max in a “mini pro” form factor, I’d be on that in a second!
@@ThisIsE AGREED! That back on the non pro iPhone is a fingerprint disaster if you go bareback with it. I actually liked the blue on the 12 more than the pro max.
They just did! Moved from an XR to a 12 Pro last year, and thought I would keep it for years. The 13 mini has me reevaluating everything! I cannot wait to keep all the features I love, upgrade on some more, and finally have a phone that is comfortable to use.
The one handed use and that it can disappear in your pocket is exactly why I chose the 12 mini :) Maybe it's safer to grab, so it won't drop that easily. It's well built, fast and takes nice pictures. Only thing I don't like is the notch, but you can hide that most of the time with wallpaper and dark mode. The price is high for a phone, but whatever, it's so nice, that for me it's worth it. If you use it with a case, the size is still acceptable. Maybe if somebody has not so good eyesight, a bigger phone is better. When I'm home, I have a 24 inch computer monitor, which is hard to beat anyway. :)

I use zoom display mode which helps with every critique I could possibly give the mini: gives it a significantly larger keyboard and app icons look like the same scaled size as they did on the 5S. I put the text size at the smallest size (on display zoom mode) which makes it look like a normal size (for the standard non zoom)

I'm an Android user since more than 10 years now, and i was hypnotized by the Mini, though still not got it yet. This little guy is making me change into apple world seriously after several years of android loyalty. My only concern is about battery lifetime, I'm afraid he can't get it through my daily routine. I’m selling my iPhone 12 Pro (great phone but too much heavy and big) and ordered today iPhone 13 mini in that pretty pink color 🌸 and I can’t wait!! I’m so excited. I missed so much pink color on iPhone since iPhone 7 (rose gold). Finally they made something cute and sweet for us (girls all around the world). 🌸🌸

Love my iPhone Mini! The battery really isn't a major issue for me. Topping it off (when needed) is pretty easy in the car or at my desk on the wireless charging pad. The form factor is so nice for a phone. Bummer that the Mini will likely go away after the 13 models.
I guess it depends how good it sells this time around. With more people recommending it and the 13 Mini getting a better battery and a smaller notch plus no new SE coming out this year before the Mini comes out, it could turn out to be very successful this year. Let’s just hope that the Mini will stay and maybe that they will come out with a Pro version of it in a few years! 🤞😊
I actually went through XR -> 11 pro max -> 12 pro -> 11 pro max -> 13 pro max -> 13 pro. I chose 11 pro max once because it could hold battery. 13 pro max just spoiled me… I couldn’t kill it at all. No matter what I did. Then I went back to smaller 13 pro, because it was supposed to have the same battery life as 11 pro max that was okay for me, but manageable size. 🤷♀️ it’s a little smaller and took me time to adjust… the pro max line has gorgeous screens.. just pleasure to look at.. but they are heavy and unmanageable with 1 hand. 11 pro max was okay… but after that, they grew 😂

Small size phone always rocks. But the only complaint on 12 mini is no touch ID and I don't like face ID. That's the only reason why I sitll using the SE 2020 although both phone are perfect in my mind.
I went from the OnePlus 8T to the iPhone 11 to the mini lol I really enjoy 120hz and 65w charging but after getting the mini I seem to enjoy this smaller size much more. It’s easier to use and battery life is no issue for me with my work schedule. Even on a day of hard use I still was able to make it through the day with about 20% left once I was home. This phone is very impressive and it’s sad to see it possibly going away in the next iPhone cycle.
Also the phone does get pretty warm for me also but only when I use MagSafe and actively use the phone. I don’t have this issue with the 18w normal charger.
Hi, E - thank you for the mention in this video. I am still in the process of getting a Mini for my husband. Will be looking at a “crowd finding” possibility for raising the funds to purchase one. Here in B.C., Canada, Telus offers a very cut-rate cost ($35/month) for the standard basic phone plan(and at $90/month it is one of the most expensive plans in North America), to seniors who receive the G.I.S. (Guaranteed Income Supplement) to the basic Old Age Pension. Therefore, if my husband can bring his own phone to Telus, then he can get the very low rate. There is no opportunity to do the “$0” down, 2-year contract deal and also get the very low rate. Of course, that is understandable. Thus, we need to look at purchasing a Mini for him. So, onwards & upwards - I am just in the process of setting up an appeal for funding. There are a few different possibilities to consider. We will get there in the next little bit. Thank you for your interest in my husband’s challenges. You are a kind man. (P.S. - what a cute little girl you have.) ‘Til next time . . . 👵🏻🐾💕🇨🇦
One hand use & weight of the phone in your hand & feeling the phone in your pocket& taking it out of your pocket --> are very big deals I had iPhone 7 then I bought XS , after 3 months I selled the XS cuz it’s big and heavy and grabed the 7 back until now, the 13 mini is coming in a couple days ✌🏻
The mini will ultimately be the new SE and will kick ass and be the hottest selling iPhone guaranteed. Apple needs to stop differentiating and make all the phones the same in the different sizes and save the SE for the budget conscious.
I also returned my 12 mini in February, and bought it again in June. Also went from black to white. The 12 mini in white with the skinomi matte skin makes it feel like my 11 pro max but also my 2016 SE. Wish the battery was like the 11 pro max but it’s decent for the compact form factor. Ill be good with it for a couple years.

I don’t regret switching back at all
I had the pro max and hated it so I gave it to my wife who is taller than I am so I was like nope.. I do not regret my 12 mini

Very tempted by the 13 mini. With the improved battery life and camera sensor from my 12 Pro Max, the downsides of going smaller don’t seem as much.

The mini will ultimately be the new SE and will kick ass and be the hottest selling iPhone guaranteed. Apple needs to stop differentiating and make all the phones the same in the different sizes and save the SE for the budget conscious.

It’s a testament to Apple’s longevity, however it wouldn’t be possible without an iPad Pro keeping me company :)
Mine lasts for two days.
I also returned my 12 mini in February, and bought it again in June.
Also went from black to white.
The 12 mini in white with the skinomi matte skin makes it feel like my 11 pro max but also my 2016 SE.
Wish the battery was like the 11 pro max but it’s decent for the compact form factor.
Ill be good with it for a couple years.
