Thank you for a great video that did not feel like an advertisement. It was really well done and informative. More of this please.

Right?! It's so nice and refreshing they let him talk about hardware too, and wrapped it all up at the end by saying software is more flexible. Unlike some other companies -- who only cut a video together where the artist is talking about only their products

So I suppose this was done at the soundtoys storage room for vintage effects? It's interesting to hear his opinion on analog and digital gear... forgotten future has been saying almost exactly the same thing about using hardware and the limitations of the mouse. It's the idea that matters after all. Good interview, thanks.

The good thing with collecting VSTs is it doesn't take up any space. Even a modest gear collection can quickly take over a spare room/house.

Tycho is one of my favourite artist and the main reference I have when I'm writing a song. As a guitar player, I always try to reach the vibes he puts in his songs. You can hear it in my new song, "Departures" that I have just released. Any comment or feedback is appreciated !

      Well you can!
Imagine if Tycho made trap beats. What would that sound like? Would be totally new and interesting to hear.

I spent years trying to emulate my favorite musicians ... to no avail, you just have to find and write what comes naturally to you, whatever style that may be. Keep experimenting.

His eyes, nose and mouth are super reminiscent of Trent Reznor.
