I love your new way of bringing up subjects. The intro’s are very interesting, simple to understand and a very enjoyable story to listen to.

As always, great video. Would the less important sounds have fewer layers?

Usually, but not always. Sometimes it's simply a lower volume, EQ to hide it more, panning to bury it in the mix, etc.

Ayyy this kind of thinking has been exactly what ive been focusing on for my non audio skills! Laser in on the most important elements asap. Glad to have some guidance on it for audio which is one of my weaker skills

Thank you very much, Akash) I really like your tutorials and videos. I'm composer for video games but it's not very much sound design in my works. But now I'm trying to practice sound design cuz I just like everything that connect with sound))

Do you think you have clear idea for sounds before starting, or they start to take shape while designing sounds?
Also editing: Funny to notice that as in UI design, different buttons etc. have different levels of visual importance (referred as visual hierarchy), same idea applies to sound design.

It's a mix of the two! Sometimes I know exactly what I want, but often, I figure it out as I go. The trick, though, is to at least have some sort of plan (even if it's not fully formed) on how you're going to go about designing a sound. Even if you abandon that plan, it saves a lot of time and lets you pivot to a new plan quickly.
