Just got my update. Car had to be in for two days because they were doing three cars at the same time and their network couldn't cope with three downloads at the same time.... All good. No problems so far. Thanks for the stuff you do. You're a Star.
I happened to have my Enyaq already booked in for diagnostics and fix on front parking camera that has gone kaput and when I took it in this morning they said they would update from current 3.0 to 3.7 while it was in - happy days. But... got a call later in the day that they had two Enyaqs in and they had tried six times with the other Enyaq to do the update and it would not complete, which had put my car back. They have hung on to it for another day. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Hello Mathias. I had my Enyaq upgraded from 3.0 to 3.7 today, apparently without issues. I delivered the car at 7.30 and got a text that it was all done at 13.00. I don’t know when they started, but around 9 o clock they sent me a video showing the car all hooked up with cables and the mechanic simply explaining that they were working on it. I picked it up in the evening and I’m very happy with the few improvements I have noticed until now, which are all regarding the screen above the steering wheel and the heads-up display. Sorry to hear about some of you guys that are experiencing problems upgrading. Cheers.
I am pleased that these vehicles are now also available with Plug and Charge. Surprisingly, some manufacturers can't even do this with new electric vehicles.
@@MMDDZZ2077no it comes with 3.2 (or 3.1). When the early cars are updates to 3.2 at dealer they will have plug & charge. I have used plug ;& charge on my Enyaq sine a year now.

@@electrifiedspeicher Yes preheating the the big one we are waiting for - much easier to get fast charging speeds on long distance trips when the battery can be heated correctly.
Too late for me, I went with Tesla because of the lack of support for the earlier Enyaq and the silence surrounding future updates, but I'm happy for all the original Enyaq owners. Shame that the new 4.0 firmware will never come to the older models though.
I have used 3.7 soon 7 month, 9 500km, no issues. Everything works some functions is a bit slow but still works. So doesn't bother me at all will there be updates or not.
Finally!. I have been booked with my 3.0 to get 3.2. for May 21st so when I have left the car there, I have agreed with the dealership to leave the car there until the end of the week so they can explore the upgrade to 3.7 instead. So let's see today / tomorrow. I will eventually be one of the first 3.7 upgraded or the last upgraded to 3.2 :-) Anyway - happy to record/share the action if the 1st is the case.

So far it works, definitively see the consumption data, the recuperation is better/engages faster ... but can't activate the Plug& Charge, the infotainment shows 3.5 while the mobile app shows 3.7 .... but there is some OTA pending. More to explore. Happy to share some videos if you like. Edit:the car was showing 3.5 when picked up but finished some Ota and shows 3.7 now

This morning when I arrived to work I did get announcement of the update at goodbye screen (I have 3.2). I did click the update, and followed the instruction to switch off parking lights manually, and the car did start to download the OTA update. But unfortunately, later when I did arrive to the car, the update has failed due the network error, and now it doesn't show the update anymore! Very robust implementation😣!
Don't worry, it will offer the update again but this is not 3.7 yet, similar thing happened to my car ... I'm waiting for the ME3.7 update, I'm on 3.2 but so far nothing yet...
Our Enyaq is now being upgraded from 3.2 to 3.7 . So far a complete fail. Car at the dealership since yesterday, 3 problems (lane assist, traffic signs detection and front assist (partially)) need to be taken care off by Skoda support. What a difference with TESLA.
With Tesla updates, my car lost cruise control, sensors and display used to freeze whilst driving. Needed Tesla to correct which took a few days. I guess that each car has its own problems.
My Enyaq got bricked in the update process from 3.0 to 3.7 at the dealer. Two days later: 2 tries, still bricked. Not every update is applied without failing fataly, my bad. Update: after 3 days at the dealer's workshop the update to version 3.7 finaly succeeded. I'm pleasantly surprised with the better efficiency of the car: now freeway use at 105 Km speed only consumes 14 kWh per 100 km (at 18 deg. Celcius), as well as the improved route planning and charging app functionality. It took Skoda 1,5 year to move to 3.7 and they never communicated with their customers about it, There is a lot to improve for them with that respect. It annoyed the hell out of me, and although I really like the Enyaq, the next time I buy a car I will seriously consider their customer treatment and lack of communication in the evaluation of all available brands
We got the 50 min update on the release day last Thursday 23rd May 2024. It was preceded by a very short one a day or two beforehand. We shall see when the 3.7 update comes. (Car came with 3.2)
The 50 min update is a prep. update for bringing 3.7 OTA and should help make your ENYAQ more "updateable"...I don't got any details from Skoda what they actually do there :(
@electrifiedspeicher Well.. today the charging screen came up 'charge to 0%' out of the blue (I had it at 80!) Also the MySkoda app has stopped showing if my car is locked or unlocked and is demanding I activate it by a paid service...but there IS no service for this previously free feature (car registered February 2023) so either they broke something or they are messing with the firmware and app! Oh and the map screen in the app (these are phone apps I am talking about) is now also saying it is a paid for feature. This is ridiculous given the far better free apps there are out there! Also.. when you click into the activate button, there isn't even an option to pay for these functions?? P.S., in the car it says everything is subscribed until February 2026

Many of the things you mentioned I see already in ME 3.2 but the infotainment performance is still crap.. pardon my French...I already have this Lane Assist deactivation in the Favorites menu but the responsiveness of the HMI is terrible, not just for this button but for almost all of them because HMI is very sluggish and not responsive... And I saw one comment below that someone already has ME3.7 but no difference was noticed. And still no preconditioning of the battery, right? Well, let's see once I get the ME 3.7 but for me, with the level of support Skoda is giving, they are still way below of what they should be doing for their customers...
No preheating of the battery with 3.7 but the topic is not off the table...hope to get some details soon but I'm completely dependent on Skoda with this

Let's see... EDIT: found the solution - open all the windows all the way down and then close them one by one, and this removed the warning and the OTA started. Will post what I will get.
Very funny when you said: you will get the menu bidirectional charging but you can't use it. Made me laugh. It is how many years since the VW CEO said all vehicles on the MEB platform will have that feature by next year. Next year being two years ago.

Do you know the production date (year and month)? Then it would be possible to have a good guess. When it's 8month old now it will be one of the last "iV" models so a pre model year 2024 version. I would assume it will come with the lastet SW 3 version which would be 3.7

As of now this should allow for an OTA update to 3.7 in autumn this year. This is my last information I got from Skoda but it is not 100% sure that it will be possible but chances are good
So will this mean that all former 3.0 and 3.1 versions, now will be updated OTA with the same versions like 3.8 and so on, as those who was build with version 3.2-3.6?

Hello Mathias. I have 3.0 version and what a disappointment yesterday after a garage update to 3.7. My enyaq was having no issue at all and now it is like a Christmas tree. Lane assist front assist travel assist tires… I have warning messages from everywhere. The garage told me that calculator 19 is burnt and has to be replaced!!! Is it possible to destroy a calculator with an update!!! I don’t think so. I am feed up with Skoda with a lot of broken promises.
Story continues. I will be at the garage tomorrow to fix the 3.7 update issue. It looks like I am not the only one! Again, Skoda doesn’t know how to proceed so users are fixing the bugs! Well done. Somebody told me that coming back to initial version and updating to 3.7 directly could solve the pb.
Story has ended. Update is done but garage had to get Skoda procedure to get it done correctly. Apparently 2 USB keys must be used to the parts meaning infotainment & security assistance. Differences from what I have seen so far is just the small screen. Not so much for 4 hours update!
Hola Matthias, mi Skoda Enyaq iv 60 con el software 3.0 lleva desde el día 23 de mayo en el taller del concesionario bloqueado por culpa de la actualización al 3.7. El coche lleva dos semanas completas inutilizado junto con otro Skoda Enyaq que entró a la vez que el mío y los mecánicos están desesperados porque desde la marca en Alemania, yo soy del País Vasco (España), no son capaces de hacer que funcione. Básicamente les escriben diciendo, probad de esta manera, y no funciona, pues ahora probad de esta otra manera, y tampoco funciona. En definitiva, un despropósito monumental, 15 días sin mi coche, pero al menos me han dejado uno de sustitución pero eso sí, de gasolina y muy pequeño, que consume una barbaridad. El jefe de taller me ha recomendado que si en el próximo intento no se soluciona ponga una reclamación directa a la marca a través de atención al cliente.
¡Por fín!, hoy 6 de junio han conseguido, después de 15 días, hacer la actualización 3.0 a 3.7. No tiene ningún sentido que Skoda se atreva a iniciar una campaña de actualización masiva y no sepan como hacerla, todo ha sido prueba error, prueba error. En fín, ya está hecho correctamente y espero que haya valido la pena.
@electrifiedspeicher I immediately forwarded this message to my local Skoda Dealer. She just called me back to say I'm already at 3.0. And have to wait for the 3.2 which will be rolled out OVER THE AIR. So I just have to be patient. I have no control over this myself, so I just have to believe that someone at SKODA will hopefully put me in the rollout soon?! Could it be that I understand that if you are at 3.0, that you actually have to go to the garage? Or is this story from my dealer correct? they say there is an error in the display of the car's software version. That my car is on version 3.0 on my screen, but it should already be on 3.2. All a bit strange explanation. There is a mess in Skoda's communication lines This RUclips video Mattihias offers, if an appointment has been made to update from ME3.0 to 3.7, that you would like to watch / film. As far as I'm concerned, I think this is fine, but then my dealer must first cooperate to make an appointment first ;-(
It all starts on May 23rd when everything will be in the dealers system. Some informed themself ahead of this date but most will not do so and have no info...sad but true With 3.0 you need to go to the garage for the update...no other way possible. @@electrifiedspeicher The garage called me back during the day. They were approached by more people besides me (which I had also sent there) and pointed out that this was coming. They had now delved a little deeper into it, and they increasingly suspected that my story was true. Tomorrow, May 23, 2024, they could see in the system that a kind of recall 1900 (or something similar) is being issued, and they could then possibly make an appointment. So I'm curious what will happen tomorrow. Still interested in filming? I am happy to make myself available (if the garage wants this).

Yes I think so. Preheating isn't off the table for pre-MY24 ENYAQ so I guess there might be a chance for it and so also for more updates in the future

This is what Skoda aims to do. Bringing all ENYAQ to 3.7 and afterwards being able to deploy new versions OTA to all ENYAQ

Story has ended. Update is done but garage had to get Skoda procedure to get it done correctly. Apparently 2 USB keys must be used to the parts meaning infotainment & security assistance. Differences from what I have seen so far is just the small screen. Not so much for 4 hours update!
Hola Matthias, mi Skoda Enyaq iv 60 con el software 3.0 lleva desde el día 23 de mayo en el taller del concesionario bloqueado por culpa de la actualización al 3.7. El coche lleva dos semanas completas inutilizado junto con otro Skoda Enyaq que entró a la vez que el mío y los mecánicos están desesperados porque desde la marca en Alemania, yo soy del País Vasco (España), no son capaces de hacer que funcione. Básicamente les escriben diciendo, probad de esta manera, y no funciona, pues ahora probad de esta otra manera, y tampoco funciona. En definitiva, un despropósito monumental, 15 días sin mi coche, pero al menos me han dejado uno de sustitución pero eso sí, de gasolina y muy pequeño, que consume una barbaridad. El jefe de taller me ha recomendado que si en el próximo intento no se soluciona ponga una reclamación directa a la marca a través de atención al cliente.
¡Por fín!, hoy 6 de junio han conseguido, después de 15 días, hacer la actualización 3.0 a 3.7.
No tiene ningún sentido que Skoda se atreva a iniciar una campaña de actualización masiva y no sepan como hacerla, todo ha sido prueba error, prueba error. En fín, ya está hecho correctamente y espero que haya valido la pena.

I immediately forwarded this message to my local Skoda Dealer. She just called me back to say I'm already at 3.0. And have to wait for the 3.2 which will be rolled out OVER THE AIR.
So I just have to be patient. I have no control over this myself, so I just have to believe that someone at SKODA will hopefully put me in the rollout soon?!
Could it be that I understand that if you are at 3.0, that you actually have to go to the garage? Or is this story from my dealer correct?
they say there is an error in the display of the car's software version. That my car is on version 3.0 on my screen, but it should already be on 3.2. All a bit strange explanation. There is a mess in Skoda's communication lines
This RUclips video Mattihias offers, if an appointment has been made to update from ME3.0 to 3.7, that you would like to watch / film. As far as I'm concerned, I think this is fine, but then my dealer must first cooperate to make an appointment first ;-(
It all starts on May 23rd when everything will be in the dealers system. Some informed themself ahead of this date but most will not do so and have no info...sad but true
With 3.0 you need to go to the garage for the update...no other way possible. See also here:

@@electrifiedspeicher The garage called me back during the day. They were approached by more people besides me (which I had also sent there) and pointed out that this was coming. They had now delved a little deeper into it, and they increasingly suspected that my story was true.
Tomorrow, May 23, 2024, they could see in the system that a kind of recall 1900 (or something similar) is being issued, and they could then possibly make an appointment. So I'm curious what will happen tomorrow.

Does this apply for Volkswagens as well, or just Skodas? Are VW using Skoda as testing rabbits first before they do this on their own cars? :p
I can only speak for the Skoda ENYAQ as I have no information from VW or any contact to them...sorry
@@electrifiedspeicher No worries. I'm sure VW will announce the same thing for their cars in a few weeks. Skoda is usually more upfront on information compared to VW lol
