What I love about Marty(well one of the things) is that he sounds like he use a whammybar, but he does not. It’s all in the left hand P.S and yes! EAST OF EDEN ROCKS!!!
Everybody knows it - but it has to be said once in a while again: man, Marty Friedman is such a guitar giant! Is there anything he cannot play, any technique he is not able to master? And the emotion he puts in his performances is outstanding! Anybody who disagree with this?????
East of Eden is such an enamor-worthy band. Marty's talent is never-ending. I can't help but wonder how in the heck Marty doesn't have some form of arthritis in his right wrist though. His picking style just looks so bad for tissues. Especially over a career that has the longevity that his does.
Yeah. Apparently he just settled on that position early and somehow it works for him. But yes, it looks crazy to my eyes. George Benson has a “similar” crazy right hand position

Amazing! East Of Eden is great, and Marty is a legend. Marty is soloing the vocal melodies! He's so good at that.
