@@wackypeace1135 adultery is not a major sin that Allah always will be forgiven anyone and anytime. Islamic doctrine is very flexible and inclusive. There are a lot of stories in Islamic history. I didn’t and don’t see Mr. Ramadan teaching any morality about Islam. He is an intellectual, philosopher and charismatic scholar and figures. In the end, his family already has forgiven him. I believe Allah forgives as well. All these happened to him because of the dirty works of the politics from UEA and France. Of course, in the end, he can’t look for any excuse, even though he had the points to prove if UEA and France played to ruin his career by quoting New Yorker Magazine which is amazing and objective media. A cancel culture is not my playbook. I don’t believe it. Allah Al Raheem. It’s Islamic doctrine.

Because your definition of a Scholar is restrictive, mine was broad and I am not using it in a restrictive sense. You should have asked me what I meant before dropping the word ‘ignorant’. This man was a former professor at Oxford University and a thinker. That is a scholar in good sense. And it was not as if he didn’t study Islam. He studied also under some scholars in Egypt snd a son of Scholar as well.
