with the slipstream update i hope you get slipstream around 1.5 seconds if your behind someone. In f1 23 its 0.750 tenths and in real life its like 2 seconds

Interesting video, EA's own spiel on the handling sounds very good.
However, I gotta say Tomo, feedback from the initial beta testing was largely that the handling was shite, like going back to the F1 22 handling and not in a good way.
I'm not quite sure how to bridge that gap between EA talking '24 up, and what real feedback from beta testing has been.
Do you have much confidence they'll actually get it right on release?
If I could enjoy the F1 game like I do Assetto Corsa I would be so happy! I love how tunable cars are in Assetto but bringing this to F1 is a huge game changer
As a casual low skilled player it means nothing.
Would be nice if you could choose a steering wheel layout or select pages with different info. I race mainly in cockpit mode and VR. Also I hope they will fix how the rain is displayed on the visor and camera. It now just slides down, which is not realistic.
I get a feeling these changes should make you more competitive in e-race mode
So they are finally fixing ers modes which they broke because they didnt read the updated regulations properly.
I wonder when they will make restrictions to the power unit upgrades like in real life.
I also think that it is way easier to follow other cars in F1 23 and I don't feel much turbulence, no loss of grip and no extra tyre wear so this is huge
Is there any damage modeling in this game? They hyped up the physics - but I'm yet to hear anything about damage physics. Also how realistic are the pit crew ?
They can dress it up all they want but all the reports I saw on the game's subreddit from people deciding to share there was that the game felt awful, worse than F1 22 somehow. How they can go from 23 so far backwards in that department is mind boggling. And to top it all off, I'm sure the game will have the same old bugs that keep recurring every year even when they supposedly fix it. This is the first year I'm skipping on getting the game since I started playing it.
