Please correct it bhaiyya, they need Income certificate of the preceding year 2020-21 (which means it's issued this year, after Apr 21). As mentioned on NIT Trichy fee leaflet.

you should have a domicile certificate to prove tht u belongs from that city and u can go for any other state college and then ur state gov. will provide you scholarship for that institute irrespective of in which city or state u are taking admission
