- The Speedmaster and it´s history has always fascinated me. It's the kind of watch that's always been on my radar but never on my wrist (as in owning it, I have tried older references on at the AD).
And at the same time, my Tudor Black Bay GMT just keeps sitting in the safe and it keeps less and less wrist time because of it's bigger brother, the Rolex GMT. And as I always say, when the thought of selling a watch has entered your mind, it's hard to stop thinking about it...
So I did something I actually never thought I would do, I decided to sell my Tudor and buy the new Omega Speedmaster Professional 😊
And of course I want to share the unboxing experience with you guys 😊

treated myself with this watch after a big promotion ive been working towards. My first true luxury watch and I couldnt be happier. Gets way more looks than expected and demands immediate respect from watch enthusiasts. Love the manual wind as well, keeps the experience tactile and fun.
Demands “immediate” respect..It’s cool, but not necessarily. A Pateck, AP, or Daytona quickly changes what “demands” respect.
out of all the videos on YT that showcase the 3861 speedmaster, your video does the best job in capturing how beautiful the watch is. idk why, if its your camera or if its the lighting. i also love how you showcased the watch with tattoos because it allowed me to imagine how the watch would look on myself with streetwear clothing. in other videos of this watch, people dress differently than how i dress. not sure if i articulated myself correctly but thank you for the upload

@@backintimewatches The bracelet is not sharp. The lugs are. I can cut paper with mine and that makes my Speedy à true toolwatch 😇. Still very confortable with the bracelet or nato strap and of course my skin is perfectly safe.

I recently received my 1861 Hesalite. I retrofitted the Seamaster clasp on it as I was not able to get a perfect fit with the factory Speedmaster clasp. I wish it wasn't needed but It's well worth the cost (roughly $400 USD for 2 end links + clasp) the watch is absolutely perfect now. Enjoy it! Beautiful piece.
This guy is a true watch enthusiast, yes he has fancy rolexes and the like, but he also clearly enjoys simpler and more affordable pieces. Great work man nice to see it!!!
In my eyes, that’s the only way to do it. There’s simply too many beautiful watches around and closing your eyes to a specific group is just plain ignorant for no good reason 😊 Glad you like it and I hope to not disappoint you in the future 😊

I was also considering buying a Moonwatch in the next week, but i had problems choosing the right version. Big thanks to your unboxing video, i now know i have to order the sapphire sandwich. Your unboxing outside perfectly shows the polished parts of the watch which you can't see in detail when you're shooting inside a studio.

I love my sapphire sandwich 2021 Speedmaster moonwatch. I was annoyed at the clasp not featuring any quick, or on the fly adjustability. But I find because the links on the bracelet are all so small, plus the included micro adjustment in the clasp, i was able to find a really good fit, and don't find myself wishing I could adjust on the fly. It just wears very well...

Omega is coming up. It's has a better history than most. They NEVER have quality control issues. Servicing isn't an issue and you can actually find the watches you like.
It's just a better experience in my eyes.
They don't discount for a reason.
That might be one of the coolest watch boxes ever. What a set.
Yes, they’re definable coming up and it’s a fantastic brand. However, they do have quality issues. Just do a quick search for issues on this exact watch and you’ll find a bunch. And until now and the Rolex shortage, you could actually get great discounts on Omega (like 30%). And you actually still can…
But yes, it’s a great set (even though it’s missing some of the cool stuff from the previous version) and a great experience 😊

14 years ago I bought a Planet Ocean, the case felt "sharp" aswel, but as I wore it 24x7 for all those years it got smoother and smoother. Sort of like you are "wearing it in". I loved that. I traded it recently for a Rolex but am looking at getting the Speedmaster instead because I liked my Omega so much.

Is that so? Cool! Maybe it has to do with the brand and not so much the video itself 😊 I shoot all my videos in 4K. It takes up much space and the file sizes are really large to work with, but the detail is spectacular. Glad you liked it 😊

The watch looks amazing especially being able to see that beautiful new movement through the sapphire back. However I’ll always stick with my 1861 Hesalite as I feel it’s more true to the original moonwatch. Great video by the way.

Wearing a Speedy makes you feel proud you are human, which is a rare feeling most of the times. I myself gonna get this model's twin brother - the acrylic version with the solid back.

Yea Speedmaster is perfect with a full sleeve. Love the slim clasp as well. First time I’ve seen one that is flush with the bracelet. Agree with every choice you made, love the hair pull I’m a gorilla too. Only one thing for me I love love love the 321 just a little to vintage column wheel guy. Dudes that care about the movements respect other dudes that care about the movements. Congrats!!

you'll see the sharpness of the bracelet I just don't get it, the bracelet feels fine to me and it never pulled on my arm hair.
The best part is you'll find yourself lost just looking at that great movement on the back of the watch.

I bought the Hesalite version and literally not 1 minute inside my house after getting back from the Omega Boutique, I scuffed the watch on the corner of a wall. Yep, left a scratch! I couldn't believe that I was that careless right away. I am usually very careful, but that was just dumb luck. I have not bothered to buff out the scratch, but it did bother me for the first few weeks. Since I bought though the boutique they will send it to Omega to be polished for free. But they said it would be potentially 12 weeks wait so I'm holding off for now and just living with it.
