Dedicated to Willis O'brien and Ray Harryhausen, thank you for many years of amazing art and inspiration. This story takes place in the same timeline as my Godzilla: Destroyer Of Worlds stop motion project. This entry showcases a slight glimpse into the savage world of the ancient past. I also really wanted to tell a story with little dialogue and focus more on visual storytelling and action like the stop motion films of yesteryear. Most Grand. Pretty bada55 action and good use of blood. The tiger companion reminded me of that Violence Jack chapter sequel to Evil Town with Shingo and Kibara. Didn't expect it to get it. The Ancient chick is pretty bada55 and cool and reminds me of Go Nagai chicks like Kikunosuke Abashiri or Jun Fudo. Nice little touches like the fire moving and the interactions between the animals and the chick trying to be tough to the giant raptors. Good use of limited dialogue like a 20s film and the story is most visual. Sorta like Sonic 3 with the between levels cut scenes of Knuckles facing him. Good use of perspective and making the characters look the sizes. Its got kind of an 80s feel with the blood and violence but still not gratuitous. More Realistic in how the characters would do in real life. In most 50s things like westerns, they get shanked or capped and fall over. No humans were harmed so its like in Splatterhouse with fighting monsters. Good tension and drama and close calls with him nearly getting wacked. Nice touch of the green good oozing off him after splattering him. The Godzilla part was pretty epic and wasn't a fight, but rather a "you may be big, but there's always a bigger fish" thing. Nice bit of Kong taking a bite outta him. This had more blood and gore than Jurassic Park and it works. Sorta like Primeval the 30 foot gater movie. I actually read the Japanese words and later put together its the English title translated. didn't expect the Spider Punch. Good touch on the chick feeling for her pet. Her yelling at the giants was pretty cool and shows what a bada55 she is. Like in Fist of the North Star: A cornered rat will bite a cat! Yes, but a rat has no chance against a lion! You spend like half a year on this and it came out grand. Imma share it with my droogs.

I figured the idea was that Godzilla was buried there during Noah's flood and he was sleeping there hibernating all this time. She was basically a nod to all the awesome beautiful female actresses who were in those old stop motion Dino films haha. Thank you so much bro and for watching!

I can't BELIEVE how good this is! What a stupendous effort! I totally agree with the points of all other commenters, as to its excellence. I would also like to add that the pacing is just perfect. It would be even more touching to see her mourn a bit more over her kitty friend, yes; the reality of the situation, however, would probably not allow her the time. The gradual progression in size of her adversaries was masterfully handled. . .& the eating was so realistic! The spider was fantastic, too, really lifelike in its movements! A miraculous achievement, all around. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! 🕷 🕸 🦍

I thought most of the viewers would want the story to progress quicker so I kinda shortened his screen time and death, I'll be sure to give an emotional moments more time in future projects. Thanks! This was fantastic! One of the best fan films of the year so far! Loved all the tributes and nods to past films, along with all the great fight choreography. Genuinely made me feel for the blondie when she lost her tiger buddy. And that Godzilla fake out was great! Well done!
Thank you so much man! I admit I think should've added a bit more screen time with the tiger but I really wanted to move on to the kaijus and thought the audience would too. It was really challenging to animate some of the figures and I think I could've done better on some of the scenes but I'll keep trying to improve! My idea was that he was buried there since the flood and Kong and his friend happened to approach as he finally woke up lol. Since this is also connected to my gmk fan film sequel it's also way before he was aggressive, supernatural and evil. Thank you so much for watching!

That was really good, I loved the set design and fight choreography! Probably one of the better Kong fan films I've seen lately, that Godzilla cameo was nice to see at the end. That Kumonga fight was also really good, best use of Kumonga I've seen to date, great job with this one!
I admit it was very challenging to animate a lot of these figures and I honestly thought I could've done better on some of the scenes but thank you so much bro! I'll always try to improve, thank you so much for watching!

This man is the EPITOME of quality over quantity!
The motion, the setting, the effects, the sounds, etc, all are stellar! I had moments watching this where I had to stop and think "How did he even pull off that effect just now?!"
That Kumonga sequence was easily my favorite part, the movements felt so natural for a giant spider, and the fight between him and Kong was so much fun!
Also love Godzilla making a brief appearance, he just looked at Kong and went "You know what... You just went through a hellish 6 or so minutes... Have a good day, see ya."
Also even though he had like, 50 seconds of screentime, I genuinely felt bad when the tiger got killed. Character development speedrun champion right here.

@@Blotzwave I picked the 84 figure to use to just simply give it some love/use and since the design looks like a bigger version of 54 since 54 is part of the gmk timeline. Dude… This has got to be one of my favorite stop motions I’ve ever seen. For one, the setting is so unique and I love that you took the time to really establish that. The main character of the film, the cavewoman, is a wonderful callback to the archetypes of the 60’s and 70’s and I found her inclusion very charming.
The animation is really great as well, and your action sequences flow so well and they transition into one another in really creative ways. All of the fights, including that of the cavewoman’s were spectacular but I have to bring special attention to the Kumonga and Kong fight. Damn dude. You brought that to life wonderfully, and I loved how Kong was kept on his heels. The practical effects usage here is inspired as well, Kumonga’s web was just such a cool prop. What was that stuff? The clay as blood and flesh is also fantastic and I love how you utilized it throughout. Godzilla’s appearance also gave me chills. You utilized a sense of scale amazingly throughout the film, first with the mega raptors and Kong, and then the dwarfing by Godzilla. Wonderful escalation.
The only things I would could consider in your future works is that I felt the emotional moment where the cavewoman lost her tiger that died protecting her could have lasted a bit longer, as it was a wonderfully dramatic battle with great stakes. Finally, the moment where she spoke ancient Hebrew didn’t last quite long enough for me to read, although I am a little slow 😂😂😂

Thank you so much bro! This really means a lot coming from you since like I've said before that you were one of my inspirations for getting into this art! Absolutely lol! She was a nod to actresses from those films like Raquel Welch and Victoria Vetri. Yes! I really wanted to make Kumonga seem really fast, smart and deadly and no push over compared to the Mega-Raptors. For his silk I used Halloween prop webs and stretched it out so it doesn't clump up.

Used to love playing with them as a kid but saw the 1980s horror film Slugs too young and got traumatized I guess. Pretty dumb movie watching it as a adult though lol. We all have something that gives us the creeps!

@@zhuangsaur227 I looked into getting an official figure of Kumonga but they were way too pricey and had little to no articulation. I figured this was the best route to go. I plan on doing something similar for Kamakurus since I have really good articulated mantis figure as well. Yeah it kinda does
@ShinGodzilla1987Official YMSF is probably your best go to but currently with Bandai Movie Monsters rolling out new products its a matter of time before we see Kumonga or Kamacuras...although YMSF takes the quality and sculpt higher than Bandai

And Godzilla showing up at the end I was like oh is he going to burn King Kong and the girl? lol But thankfully he was like "ohh it's you again, later" lol 🤣You should have way more subs, your work is awesome. I tried stop go animation years ago with Clay took me like 2 and half hours for a 2 minute thing lol. So you must have a lot of patience to do all of this. I used a green screen for one effect and fake Halloween webs for the piratical effect. Lol yeah my idea was that Godzilla was there since the flood buried and he just happened to wake up as Kong and his friend approached. I'll do my very best to try to earn more, gotta conquer the algorithm lol. Yeah some days more than others lol, it's definitely a big commitment but it's a very satisfyingly art when completed. I used to be monetized pre Google buy out and the million rule and policy changes now I am not anymore so I use it as a hobby channel lol. Too many rules to worry about with it you know? Now you can't say certain words in videos it's ridiculous but I digress haha. BUt yeah man great job, I feel like there should be a medium with just stop go action movies I've seen some amazing ones like yours, there's some MK ones out there that are cool. Had me curious trying it out again but I don't know how to implement the sounds, grunts etc lol It looks tough and a lot of work goes into it for sure.

@@MKF30 Yeah it's absolutely ridiculous, I mean I love this platform, everyone uses it etc. But it is controlled by some crazy people. Oh yeah people have made some really impressive mk stuff including drawn animation too. I add all the sounds/music etc. In my video editer pinnacle studio 21, it's very buggy and unstable sometimes but I'm really used to working with it since the layout etc is really nice. I haven't been too frustrated to learn a new program yet lol. There's some free ones you can download from sites and learn tutorials for on here too

Yeah I can tell you're good with the adding sounds editing etc 👍🏼some channels have editors for them but then you have to give them a cut and its probably a pain unless the channel is rich lol
@@MKF30 Yeah I hate how literally every program now that's really good quality has a monthly fee. I payed for pinnacle, 80 bucks once from best buy like the normal days. I'd get the best program, Adobe premiere but after you pay for it you'll have to pay a monthly fee just to continue using it lol. I mean how greedy can these companies be? The only way I'd get it and pay is only if yt became my full time job and I made really good money
