I literally just got my very first American Eagle ever last week. I've been watching your videos since, and I'm really into it. Thanks for sharing your tips!
Thanks for the heads up for jpscorner. Just went to their website and I was impressed. I just bought 4 "I" size tubes for the Austrailian Luner series somewhere else. I will be buying from JPS in the future. I'll be buying in bulk so that I get the free shipping.
I enjoyed your video. Thanks for clarifying about what size to get when the size is a little more than 40. I always wondered if I should go up or down - better snug than too big I guess. Where I had a little problem was trying to find the right size for the 2 oz queens beast.
I think a lot of it may have to do with different manufacturers vary slightly, I use Airtite brand for my gen. rounds (H39) and they fit perfect with no rattle.
I see you have a tube of eagles in air-tites and say that the tube holds 20. How many koalas/kooks/or pandas can you fit in a tube in their original mint caps? Just curious. I recent orders some air-tire tubes and they said they hold 20 air-tires. But when I fill them up with coins in their original mint caps I can only fit 18. Wasn't sure if that was your experience too or I somehow got the wrong size (shorter) tubes. Thanks
I like the plain capsules better than the black gaskets because you can see the side of the coin. Yes it is kind of weird because of the rattling but it does not damage the coin so I like it better.
I'm looking at buying just the capsules but can't find one place to get everything I need in one purchase. Plus spending $100 on plastic when I could by six silver pieces just doesn't seem right. I'll probly wait for the silver spot to go up then invest in the capsules when bullion is more expensive.
If I put a 2 peso gold coin in a black gasket capsule will it still fit with the 2 and 1/8 tube or will the capsule be a different size as well as the tube?
I used to get the ringed capsules for my Maples but they just start to take up more room so from here on out I will just go without the ringed gasket. Stuff like Pandas and Kooks which come in mint capsules I just leave them. I would have to spend too much on capsules if I swapped out every Panda, Kook and Koala. I switched out a few at first when I started stacking but decided its best to keep them their capsules. But that is just me to each his own. Good video Silver Slayer!!
This video solved one of my biggest issues for storage and how I will buy gov issued silver going forward thank you for the video super helpful! Just placed an order.
What is the advantage of Black gasket capsule? I have about 2000 silver eagles. Should they be taken out of the square 20/tube and individually placed in crystal capsules?
A couple of promo coins I got that came pre-installed in capsules also do this. The coins move back and forth when looking at them/flipping them. I thought about replacing them but they are the OEM capsules so may just leave them.
Are kooks and pandas worth more if you leave them in their original mint caps or is it fine if I switch them over to black gasket air tites? Anyone who can help me with tha I do lmk! Thanks
I use the Sure-Safe for my bullion coins. The ones i like to look at and handle, like you i use the airtites. I like to keep mine organized also. Get a cheap label maker and put a sticker on the outside for easy ID.
So for my kookaburras in their original mint caps I wana get the H model air tite? I like to keep them in their original mint caps and I just ordered an H tube for them. My goal is 10 kooks and 10 pandas to fill up 1 H model air tite. I already have a full I tube of black gasket air tite eagles 🤟
just a quick shout out.... I found this really helpful and went ahead and picked up a few tubes for numismatic coins. it's a great solution for anyone who might still on fence and looking for feedback.
Nice looking coins. I've got a few Nintendo related collectible coins that originally came in their own direct fit capsules directly from Nintendo with a tiny labeled sticker on the side of them. However, a couple of them seem loose, and rattle back and forth a bit when moved around. Would you recommend me replacing those ones or keeping them as is in original capsules?
I don't like the Perth Mint capsules. They don't fit well, as your video shows. So whenever I get a Kookaburra or other Perth Mint coin, I take it out of the original capsule and put it into an Airtite.

what size do I get for kangaroos. 40.6mm
What types of coins are designed for the ‘X’ capsule tubes?
I think a lot of it may have to do with different manufacturers vary slightly, I use Airtite brand for my gen. rounds (H39) and they fit perfect with no rattle.
got that starter kit yesterday. good looks G
thanks man, I've been watching those tubes from where you recommend! gonna pick one up for the maples
I like these older caps where they go over the top. The new ones which go inside hold less coins
Where do you buy the tubes with a black cap? JP's Corner only sells the red cap.
The issue I have is the coins are not all the same size. That rattle on the original mint cap, makes me crazy!
I just realized i have 1 7/8 tobes and i think the 2 1/8 you showed this helped me see what i wondered thanks

You can fit 17 Kooks or Koalas in their original capsules. You can fit 15 Pandas in their original capsules.
I like the plain capsules better than the black gaskets because you can see the side of the coin. Yes it is kind of weird because of the rattling but it does not damage the coin so I like it better.
Very informative, I never did know which capsules or coin holders to get for my different silver coins. Thanks
Steve Harvey
(Watching the pandas in your vid) How many capsulized direct fit capsules fit in the H red tube? It looks a bit short for 20 (?)
If you put the coins into Air-tite brand direct fit capsules, you can fit 20 or 21 into an H tube.
Sadly, i have to remove my Kookaburra's from their mint capsules, because 20 direct fit capsules will not fit in a H tube. only 15
Good info....I buy the red capped tubes as well, btw, onfireguy has the PERFECT fit (with foam) for the UK QUEEN's BEAST coins. I have them
I'm waiting on 40 capsules for QBs; from Provident Metals, Hope they fit. Thanks for the info!

The bigger tube is h right please tell me again where you buy

You keep using bots to win contests and you will
*****
I see when you bought the Kooks they were already in the ringed capsules I guess.

Should silver eagles be placed in individual capsules or
left in the 20/ tubes that they arrive in from Apmex?
Cool way to stack but thats also an added expense.
So sad that these tubes are not shipped to Bulgaria (Europe). And I actually cannot find anything equivalent to them...
where do you buy the dragon and phoenix coins and rwanda roasters
The 15 capsule holder for the pandas also hold the kookaburra's in mint caps
Great video. Did not know they made the tubes!
My thanks for dooing this it really helped me understand and nit make errors on size thanks again
I load the tubes by stacking the coins on top of each other and sliding the tube over the coins and I flip it around no rattling one straight shot.
What is the advantage of Black gasket capsule?
I have about 2000 silver eagles. Should they be taken out of the
square 20/tube and individually placed in crystal capsules?
Bill Rundell no. If in tubes the better only the ones that are left out should be in air titee
Are air tites suppose to be loose. I have direct fits for some of my coins and rounds but the coins all move around inside when I shake them
busninessman123 why would you shake them?
A couple of promo coins I got that came pre-installed in capsules also do this. The coins move back and forth when looking at them/flipping them. I thought about replacing them but they are the OEM capsules so may just leave them.

Anyone have links or brand suggestion for cheap tubes and capsules for Morgan’s and gold coins. Pvc free of course!! Safe for silver or gold??
Try the Sure-Safe from airtite. Holds 20 coins or bars in an airtite container without capsules.
I use the Sure-Safe for my bullion coins. The ones i like to look at and handle, like you i use the airtites. I like to keep mine organized also. Get a cheap label maker and put a sticker on the outside for easy ID.
Hi SS. thanks for your video appreciate the storage info.

Arent All 1oz coins the same size?
How many coins inclosed in capsule go in a tube.
I think I saw these tubes at Home Depot.
