This was my favorite Toxic Crusader character and figure
i love the toxic waste splatters..was my favorite part as a kid
I have jumped into the Super7 and Mythic Legions lines this year. I have picked up every TMNT Ultimate aside from the normal Foot Soldier and April, so far. I have gotten about twelve or so ML and two Cosmic Legions. From my experience with both of these companies and the figures, I prefer the Super7 articulation. Too much articulation has been an issue for me keeping figures standing. Many of the ML ankles have been pretty loose and I struggle to keep them standing. I am not saying the Super7’s couldn’t be tighter as well for some figures, but I’ve yet to have an Ultimates figure fall over on my shelves. Excuse me now as I knock on all available wood in my house.
I’m not knocking either line. I like a lot of what both companies put out. Just giving my point of view on the articulation.

My favorite figure of the line
Junkyard was absolutely my favorite Toxic Crusaders figure as a kid. Super 7 definitely didn't disappoint.
Hoping they make that un-released Snailman as that thing looks amazing, and it's a damn shame that it never got made back in the day.
Snailman, mowerman, Tzar Zosta, Toxie’s mom…. personally, i want Super7 to produce playmates ultimates and animated ultimates. Both Headbanger and Major Disaster were different tv show to figure so, more meat on the bone for them
I'm waiting on mine to ship and I plan to display him with the first Super7 Toxie (the toy style one rather than the one from this wave).
I would very much like to see Junkyard and Radiation Ranger with wave 1 Toxie to see the toy homages all together before I get mine in hand.
In terms of the future of this line, I know Super7 doesn't do regular waves of these due to lower demand -- and I'd very much like them to finish the vintage 9 Playmates figures and get to some unproduced ones.
But I think some recent stuff lends itself to Ultimates as well. The new video game has Radiation Ranger recolors as enemies and a really awesome neon green version called the Speed Ranger. Also, Peter Dinklage is playing Toxie in a new movie and I don't see anybody BUT Super7 doing a figure. And on top of that, Dinklage's Toxie has glow-in-the-dark details that pop out from his design and I think Super7 would nail that.
ok, i got mine last week, i had a merry old time with it and it is WICKED! Both head sculpts are wonderful. I have the tongue out as i feel it’s more playful and true to the vintage figure. I don’t feel it needed an articulated jaw.
The issues it has; the waist has a horrendous gap that you don’t notice if you out the belt on. The characters overalls would not sit t like that and playmates could get it to sit neatly so why not this company? The belt is a bit snug, once it is on, it is ok. The weapons; they are too small. They are the same size but feel much cheaper than the vintage. A the newspaper would not mount to the gun, which is should. The weapons should have deco, no excuses. it is not very “ultimate” to have monochrome weapons and accessories.

cool review, soooooooo pumped to see super 7 complete the vintage lineup! Had all the toys as a kid except Junkyard, Bonehead, and radiation ranger so naturally i want those 3 a lot right now, but Dr. Killemoff is the top want, dying to see how large, wicked and gnarly they will make him! Hope Major Disaster is in 22nd wave he was my fav next to the Headbanger! Should i make a Toxic Crusaders Claymation?? Drop a comment on my channel if i should and which character should be glorified in Claymation??
This was one of my fav figures as a kid I loved the crazy tongue. It looks like they really nailed the 90’s look, I love it. I hope we get a wave 2. I really want a major disaster figure 😎

but will they make it cartoon or Playmates accurate? For me, make one then the other. They have already made a Playmates accurate Toxie, an animated Toxie, both radiation ranger and Junkyard are playmates. I hope they stick with Playmates until they are at least 75% through the vintage line, then start including cartoon style…. but Bryan Flynn will tell us what we want and not validate anything he says so, take that into account under all circumstances
It's interesting they went with the shiny fur. I guess most of the brown is just raw plastic.

Got this guy in his box^^ Shame they didn't give us the long rubber tongue like the old one had... thats my biggest gripe with this guy..
I was pretty happy with the figure, but man I do hate that rubber belt. It feels like it'll tear apart over time if you're not careful. Also the waist gap is just ugly..
Why did S7 not paint the accessories? They updated the deco on tmnt weapons so why not these? Inconsistencies are the one consistent of S7…. that and poor head-sculpts on REAL people
