Just imagine having one of your idols singing a duet with you of one of your songs - after he just sincerely applauded you on how you covered one of his masterpieces. And then, you hit and hold a note so majestic that your idol practically recoils from its perfection. Sara is such a unique talent, and yes, the whole "package"; props to the legendary Sir Elton John for recognizing it.

I just love Elton's reaction, his admiration for her. He turns to the audience in a sort of, "Amazing, isn't she?" way. It's great to see the support two musicians can give to each other, rather than the cat-iness seen too frequently nowadays.
Like when Whitney and Mariah sang together. Even though they smiled at each other. You can see them trying to out do the other. And that kinda ruined the song.

Pop music is like pop culture. Constantly changing. We remember it but only within a time frame that is limited. Connected to a moment in our life. But music that spans time and remains relevant is called classic or standard. Its appeal is universal and lasting because of its unique qualities. It spans generations and is rediscovered constantly. Remade to be enjoyed again. Pop music doesn't get remade at all if hardly ever. It's a one off. A single artist. It doesn't resonate.

Adoro essa musica, e nessas vozes fica perfeita.
I love his reaction to her "down". Oh my gosh
Such a tearjerking video to watch for me at least... Besides being a very beautiful song, just watching Sara in such awe with the presence of Sir Elton John brings happy tears to my eyes... What can I say, I'm an emotional person and I love Sara as an artist! Manhattan is my favorite from her! ♥️🌹😍😘
Two outstanding artists. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
Sarah beautiful, stunning, amazing.
Sir Elton, in addition to being a master of the medium, has always recognised and supported up and coming talented artists.
Lifts my spirit to soaring heights listening to this magical duo' s. performance.
Thank you both .
And thank you too, you tube.
Life is wonderful.❤❤❤

I have a very active imagination - but I CANT EVEN IMAGINE! To sing with Elton John???? To play the piano for him????? To have him say he loves your version of his song!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even....
I can't believe how beautiful Elton voice sounds still after all these years...amazing
She giggles nervously at the end. I'm soooo happy for Sara. :)
Ohhhhhh my ❤️ I can't even say in words what this song did to me...
Sara’s sustain is just sublime
Oh my. Look at eltons face at 4:30. He knows she's a star and you can see it in that one moment. Stunning song.
I revisit this video a couple times a month, and today, Sir Elton John's part finally grew on me.
I really like it. I'm always open to different interpretations.
it’s like sara’s version of goodbye yellow brick road, beautiful in their own ways.
Amazing.
Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
No matter what I say or do
I'll still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone.
You hold me without touch.
You keep me without chains.
I never wanted anything so much
Than to drown in your love and not feel your rain.
[CHORUS:]
Set me free,
Leave me be.
I don't wanna fall another moment into your gravity
Here I am and I stand so tall, just the way I'm supposed to be.
But you're on to me and all over me.
Oh, you loved me 'cause I'm fragile
When I thought that I was strong.
But you touch me for a little while
And all my fragile strength is gone.
[CHORUS]
I live here on my knees
As I try to make you see
That you're everything I think I need here on the ground.
But you're neither friend nor foe
Though I can't seem to let you go.
The one thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down.
You're keeping me down, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
You're on to me, on to me, and all over...
Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long
Solo Sara, può cantare questa meraviglia ❤scusa Elton 🙏
Classic song - one my favs of all time. Grew up a huge Elton fan. Now a huge Sara fan. A duet on a classic song for me is . . . . UNBELIEVABLE
They're both AMAZING. I think he prefers HER version of his song. HaHa.
Wow! This Woman Is So Super Talented.
I truly like Elton John... But Sara knocks any song she sings out of the park... she has such range. You’re amazing Sara 🧡
Sara is awesome!
this song always bring tears to my eyes
Beautifull! And from 4.25 is absolutely breathtaking with the long note and the soft chords she also plays. Genius skills.
I'm so freaking in love with that belt she did
Nice to see someone else play piano and him he stood up 😃
