- Maison Georges Hobeika Couture Spring 2024 is a first for the Maison - inspired by and paying homage to the Arab world. It references the glamour and beauty of Middle Eastern women, the joyful and creative aspects of the region’s culture, and the sense of compassion and care displayed throughout the Orient. Elements of childhood nostalgia meld with the spirit of the 50s, 60s and 70s to echo the joie de vivre of the eras’ parties, while a sense of streamlined modernism brings a contemporary edge to the designs. Colourful silhouettes and playful details express the warmth of the Arab spirit, translating a feeling of hope and compassion. For Co-Creative Directors Georges and Jad Hobeika, this collection is a love letter to the women and the culture which nurtured them, and continue to influence them.

After the Oscar's at the Vanity after party event, there was many different designers shown; Dior, Armani, Saint Laurent, Versace, Chanel, tom ford, valentino, the celebs were wearing all of these at the Vanity affair after party event. look it up. you'll see. they didnt wear these at the Oscars.
No watching the glory hunger event. We see the videos good and bad mostly bad clothes. It is getting worse.

Ive never seen such a show like that, the arabian dress was shining and fascinating, the cups of coffee rang in my ears ,the music Fairouz's and Um Keltoum's took me in another world: the simplicity.. that was sooooo nice

The apothecary approach was very bold and dareing ,certainly not a boring collection.
Reds ,variegated shades of vibrant colors very exciting. Texture was fun. Something for everybody.
I didnt care for the boxie look in the mens designs however.

The transition of pinks into red down the arm and including hands was rather visually disturbing - looked like they were up to the elbows in blood. Worked much better when it went from red to pink and in other colours. Also, men with ladies purses?
Maybe the designers wanted to convey a disturbing message idk. I like it as much as the pleasant ones
