Juris Blumfelds not really I don't find it an inconvenience at all since HTC give you a headphone Jack adaptor

    • @kingcs6273
      @kingcs6273 6 лет назад +3

hypero123 ofcourse they give because it's a big flaw they made there. Also loose adapter and it cost you like a charger, want to use earphones and conviently use power bank - Nope. Want to listen music on a trip on wireless earphones, oh, they ran out of power. That's not even all.

It's just sad to see where HTC is today, while few years ago it was one the leading phone companies. I just remember the days of M7 and M8, and how I thought that they are stunning phones, and everyone wanted one, including me. I just hope HTC gets back to the track, and releases a phone with amazing speakers like M8 had, of course a headphone jack, and another stunning design similar to M7 or M8.

They should have refined the 10's design and metal. An 18:9 6" AMOLED panel, with stereo speakers, a DAC for the headphone jack would have flew off shelves in the current smartphone space where compromises are being made.

Great historical piece, John. HTC has some good phones but a few flaws like the camera on the M7 with it's ultra pixels and bad reviews. Some criticized their marketing as a downfall. But they pushed the phone industry with their designs and use of premium materials.

Hi there, I'm Abhinav Janak from Hyderabad, India. I'm a huge HTC fan and an avid HTC User. Fantastic seeing this video! I have been using the Desire 828 phone since more than 5 years. I wish you had mentioned about HTC Desire 828.
Below is the write up about this phone on HTC's website :
" HTC continues its proud tradition of award-winning design with the HTC Desire 828 dual sim.
Inspired by performance sports cars, created by award-winning designers: featuring streamlined curves for grip-friendly, eye-pleasing elegance.
Its stripe-thin edges, lightweight frame and finely detailed construction make the HTC Desire 828 dual sim the ideal go-everywhere, photo lover’s best friend "
I feel so proud to be using this phone currently and to have used this up until now since Jan 2016 when it was launched. It has been a joy to hold this award winning designed phone in may hands throughout! Most impressive are it's cameras, it's light weight body (144 gms), poly carbonate plastic frame that's so nice to grip and maintain, also pleasing to the eyes along with very sweet looking front dual speakers , the design of which looks the best as compared to all other brands. It also is very less in radiation ( Least SAR value ) . HTC must bring back the dual front speakers and the 3.5mm head phone jack on all their upcoming flagships and midrangers along with making the phones water resistant ( IP68) and impact resistant ( MIL Grade) too. I am trying hard to get U11+ and U12+ phones.
Hoping and wishing to get many valuable and fantastic phones HTC phones in India with jaw dropping and incredible designs that can beat all other competitors hollow.

The One M7 was released in *2013* not 2014. The best *"industrial phone"* design released to date that even Apple copied on their iPhone 6 and iPads.
I still can't get over that 469 ppi 1080 x 1920p 4.7-inch LCD screen. It's crisp and detailed; almost as close as AMOLED. And the *dual front-facing Beats Audio-capable speakers* just blew my mind off!

Why did you all not showcase the htc universal from 2005. That phone was incredible! It was made in 2005 but, was one of the first phones with 2 cameras, the largest touch screen phone of its time (3.6 inches), and the first phone with a 480x640 screeen resolution! It was a miniature laptop that could transform into a touch screen phone, and the loudspeaker sound for a phone of it's time was amazing! It was also one of the first phones with a 3.5 mm headphone jack! Even the HTC Blue Angel(2004) was incredible, and it came before the HTC Apache! The HTC Blue Angel was one of the first phones to gain a wide hacking and modding community!

I never really liked HTC's design philosophy until in 2013 where they introduced the One M7. That phone was sexy as hell compared to the Samsung S4 or any other Balckberry phones which were dominating the market at that time. Sony XPERIA Z came close to being one of the best at that time and I could only afford its successor which was the M8 and I used it for 2 years. Amazing design and performance, but the camera was its achilles hill. I wish HTC could keep that signature design and made the screen bezelles on the left and right sides while leaving the front facing speakers on top and bottom. I really do miss the old HTC.

Man as far as I'm concerned HTC always made better smartphones then Samsung, Samsung just had way more money and budget for advertising, as Samsung has catapulted into the spotlight they basically control the entire market and that's sad because awesome trailblazers like HTC who make great phones sometimes arguably better get no love at all, the technology marketplace is fucked, look at cars you don't see one manufacturer selling like 90% of the cars on the road, I hope HTC doesn't go out of business.

No mention of the sensation??? There were alot of phones in-between the legend and one x, also one x was 2012 and m7 was 2013.

Which one of the htc smartphones had it where the battery came out the side with the cover being metal like the body? I'm trying to find one because it was my first phone

Revive the m8 please htc! It's the best phone ever made. No other phone in the market today can give me the exact same feeling as when I had that phone

The M9 was the device that sealed HTC's fate with me. That phone overheated soooo bad. Happy with my pixel.

Desire 600 was a beast . For 100$ you get beats audio with amazing dual speakers , I still didn't hear crispier audio like in desire 600 .. then HTC become shit

I had the M8 and it has lasted me 3 years. Nowadays I have U11 and I'll never regret to go to HTC when I was a Sony and Samsung fanboy. Damn, I was completely a fool.

Melbourne Dauz HTC sucks now, tbh. The U series lack everything that made them unique. No headphone jack, no front firing speaker, no extra strong build. Everything else it does, competition does it better.

Remember when htc had the title of best looking android phone? Then came the galaxy s6 edge. Every since then, the galaxy has been labeled the best smart phone design ever made. It's So good that ppl don't even want to put a case on it. Now show the real winner, the evolution of Samsung design
