Because at first, there's passion, there's freshness, but then as the seasons get pumped out, so does the creativity and your own interest in the show. It's not that it's worse, it's just that Eric is different now. As all people are, even if it's in a miniscule way.
Personally I think the “give the kids what they want” one when the guest walks in and eric is stabbing his upturned desk then pulls out a gun and starts firing causing the guest to go frantically running for their very life is the best one

Eric Andre has stated each interview is significantly cut down with all the best bits stitched together. An uncut interview lasts about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on how cooperative the interviewee is.
That’s what has been making this show actually funny to watch, for years: it’s all the props and stunts that he’s been doing since season 1. Lol. Nostalgia! 😅😎

I met Haley Joel Osmont once in Greenwich village years ago. I was drunk wearing heels and he came up to me, he's really short too. The second I saw his face I was like "Omg, you're the kid from I see dead people!" He just turned and walked away. A lot of my celebrity encounters go that way lol.
