This is really interesting to me. In the United States, it is consistently the opposite. Most mall food is bad here or doesn't compare to the local food places. That's smart to give them free rent to attract these street food vendors so you're getting the same experience.
Another awesome video. I loved Icon Siam last time, was great, bought some durian there and then we weren't allowed back in the park Hyatt with it after, great lessons learnt! :-)
Delicious looking food Gary, very quiet in there during your visit. I think maybe Farang would prefer to go here when we're not as confident as you to order on the street. Nice video.

I always eat their roti almost every time when I'm in Iconsiam ..... I always enjoy watching your videos a lot and even tried to follow your foot steps to many food joints in Thonburi area that you've recommended. By the way, my house is in Thonburi too so thank you for that 👍 I'm also a retired commercial photographer(food, jewelry and other product photography) and I also have a home studio if you need any helps with your photography projects such as B-roll, still, behind the scenes, etc., please let me know, I'll be glad to help, and because you're practically my neighbor !!! 😎
Yes it’s very authentic southern food. Wow, that is such a great offer from such a great photographer 😃 I would love to do something together
@@theroamingcook Yes 👍 so let’s meet up when you are not busy!

ภาษาไทยของผมยังไม่แข็งแรงครับ
Planning to visit this coming Dec 2022. This place is included to our Must visit. :)
It's a great spot
I can see that, thank you 🙏
Welcome to thailand สำเนียงภาษาไทยคุณน่ารักมาก
Thank you so much 🙏
Had my worst food court meal at Terminal 21 although I found the restaurants good. Real prefer the MBK food court. Will try Icon Siam on the next trip.
I'm.not much of a food court guy but this is by far my favourite

:)
Missing it already and only been back a day......
I know that feeling mate!
How does it compare in quality and price to Siam Paragons food court?
I'm not a fan of paragon to be honest Peter, it's a bit busy and loud for me!
@@theroamingcook After seeing this l would agree, but just wondering how the food quality compares, Paragon is probably more expensive as well
You speak thai so fluently!!
No no just a little bit!
oooo kao ka moo I really like that,,damn Garry now my wife has to make this for me too this week…haha whole chili's Garry,,you dare more than me,I cut them into pieces..I like to eat in that chopping centers the food is tasty, cheap and clean.yes they cook the eggs too long and then they cook them again in the stew, that's why they are so dry 😂😂😂 sweet roti I don’t like.
I bet your wife's is the best 😀 those eggs kill me 🤣
@@theroamingcook yes, but my wife grew up in norway, haha maybe it's because her eggs are better and softer,, but she was born in thailand.
Nice video mate 👍
Cheers fella
