This mall was huge. Spent days there just hanging out and eating my way through it. The theater was huge with great dolby sound system.
The food courts were delicious and many choices to choose from.

This is really interesting to me. In the United States, it is consistently the opposite. Most mall food is bad here or doesn't compare to the local food places. That's smart to give them free rent to attract these street food vendors so you're getting the same experience.

    Hi Gary,
Just about got over our January trip!
    Still loving your vids.
We went in here (to buy a new IPhone, they had stock!)
Diana had a lovely chicken noodle soup.
It’s a great set up, not enough seating, I’d say is a minus point.
The part over in the corner that looks like “staff area” looks even more appetising.
It’s also interesting to note that all the dishes on the “rice & 3” stall, were on hot plates.
You don’t tend to see that, streetwise.
    Cheers, Buddy, keep it up

U can cook for ur own “kai palo” (the first pick) , the old granny style only use
    1. “saamgloe (สามเกลอ)” i.e. garlic, white pepper seed (not grinned one), coriander root (I use coriander seed instead when couldn t find),
    2. Then stir 1 and make a thick sauce by adding palm sugar or brown sugar, until it became caramelized,
    3. Add spare ribs/chicken w/ bone part to stir til it was cooked then,
    4. Add hard tofu and boiled egg,
    5. Add water, soy sauce,
Optional for another style u can
    6. Add cinamon stick, star anise put in paper-tea-bag/clean cloth in order to avoid chewing unwanted-broken thing from these.

I love that you share the local food (the real local food, not tourist stuff) to the masses. However, one thing really bothers me w the first vendor of this video; ie no fresh chili, wtf? You have to spend another 22B on top of an already somewhat overpriced 60B meal. Thoughts?

I have to confess, when I'm in Thailand, I always go to a shopping mall food court for an "authentic" Thai street food experience. Without local knowledge, it's hard for a visitor to find the best places to eat, and the food court solves that problem. I'm under the impression that Thai food courts are of a very high standard, and I'm not missing out on "real" street food.

Don't ignore the chain restaurants. The food can be superb, plus you obviously get courteous service, reliable food hygiene, and nice surrounds. S&P is very good for pad thai, among other things. Ong Thong does absolutely the best khao soi you will find any where. Ros Niyom does beautiful duck curry and green curry.

We used to always go to the food court in BigC opposite Central World when we were in Bangkok. It used to be really good, can you maybe visit there or even the new place next door to BigC that opened, think it's called Market or something, would love to see that as it was just starting to be built when we were last in Bangkok. Thanks Gary 👍🏻.

The people that sell the roti dishes, they actually come from the southern Thailand, I believe they are from Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and they are representing the traditional southern Thai cusine. I always eat their roti almost every time when I'm in Iconsiam ..... I always enjoy watching your videos a lot and even tried to follow your foot steps to many food joints in Thonburi area that you've recommended. By the way, my house is in Thonburi too so thank you for that 👍 I'm also a retired commercial photographer(food, jewelry and other product photography) and I also have a home studio if you need any helps with your photography projects such as B-roll, still, behind the scenes, etc., please let me know, I'll be glad to help, and because you're practically my neighbor !!! 😎
