Hi, How do you create a Tableau server? I am using Tableau public and also have a trial version of Desktop tableau, but I don't see the Alert options. Please advise. Can I setup alerts in any one of them?
Hi Rahul, Got a small doubt in this Lets say i have a view with some filters and from, to date parameters applied on it. Now, when i use subscriptions how do i get the updated data in my image or pdf without changing the date ranges? or this can be done while creating parameter itself we can show some default max date value to end date and from date Is that possible..? Or for every filter change we need to apply a new subscription to replicate in the pdf!? I mean for different views and filters applied we need to have different subscriptions right..?

You can create trial version of Tableau cloud server. That is free for 14 days and you can use it to set alerts

In real time it will be your companys email id. In real time u have to give Ur companies email address only.
