I totally agree with you! I thought this would be a single game with a cool menu and UI along with some bonus artwork or extra features. To find out that this is just the main games downloaded separate from one another is saddening. Any hype I had for this is gone! P.S: Great review! You got straight to the point which I loved!

I’m a big believer in owning physical copies, both movies and games.
Glad to have you here friend! I absolutely love physical over digital anything. As long as you take care of it you never have a fear of losing it or unable to play them for any reason. It’s not a total disappointment just wish it would of had that extra something special since it’s the first physical anything of the game but we can’t have everything lol.
Legit was a super helpful vid bro, for me atm buying all the digital versions works out cheaper than the physical, by about $30 so knowing now that it doesn't add any new additions definetly helped a ton, thanks dude!

I recently buyed exacly this game on my ps4 and its amazing. I didnt own the digital copies yet, but i wanted this game for like a year now, and i love it! I know its dissapointing for those fnaf-fans that have played the games since 2014, but for me its just perfect. Also, im very impressed that they got Sister Location into console as wel. Even tho they use the computer mouse to click on buttons. Good review!

I can't believe this doesn't include Pizzeria Simulator (FNAF 6). Since it's the ending to the original story of the first five games, and it's weird to have those 5 without the conclusion.
From what I’m understanding there was an agreement that PS4 would get Security Breach and Xbox would get pizzeria simulator... which if that’s true, was not an equal trade off.
@@Gribbon1020 It said Security Breach will be a 3 month timed exclusive to ps4/ps5, then it may come to other consoles. I hope it is the same for fnaf 6

Seems like a good deal to me. Mainly because I never owned these games on consoles haha.
While I understand the criticisms towards this release (would it have really hurt to add a couple new features?) I am glad there is finally a physical release that isn't a limited run.
I agree. Just felt a little like double dipping but then again it’s my preference to want physical copies.. I already owned the digital but I feel better knowing I own a hard copy rather than a digital license
@@Gribbon1020 Having played a bit of the core collection and here are my thoughts so far.
Fnaf 1 controls pretty well and I don't have many problems.
Fnaf 2 is probably my favorite so far. Being able to put the mask on by simply tapping r1, took some time to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, the game controls really well. Haven't beaten night 5, but managed to go through night 3 and 4 in one go.
Weirdly with fnaf 3, switching through the cameras felt a bit more sluggish (Perhaps I felt this way since switching through cameras is the most common in 3?), but still far from a bad port.
Haven't played 4 and Sister Location but from the looks of it, they seem to be well done.
All in all, a pretty solid collection!
Was Playing on the ps4 by the way, not sure how it runs on other systems haha.
@@raymonddavis9277 basically everything non-Nintendo runs terrible on switch, this game is no exception. On PS5 game runs perfectly, don’t know about Xbox though as I haven’t seen it

I recently picked this game up for my younger brother since I know he's into the franchise. Specifically the Switch version.
Core Collection is more of a *"Value pack"* type of deal, I remember Sega did some of their Sonic games with two games in one cartridge. More than one game pops up onto the Switch Menu.

I own this on the Switch and Sister Location allows me to change the cursor speed in the pause menu!
There is no pause menu on PS4 unfortunately. Although I did find out that if you use the left and the right stick at the same time it increases the speed. Made a video about it for anyone else stuck on the PS4/Xbox versions.

Man I agree! Recently purchased this for $30 was expecting an awesome living tombstone OST main menu wit all games on the title screen to select! Instead we just get a lame app selection on the screen nothing new think the only work they put on this release was the art & disc. Very disappointed! Best buying digitally than wasting more on a physical copy but than again it’s cool owning a physical copy especially if it goes out of print! Great review & unboxing!👍

im so glad i looked it up cause i thought it would be like the ucharted remaster collection where its in one game and you choose which of the 3 you want to play inside said game, it disapointed me as well but you know, i think the fnaf games in general are better on console because i cant play on pc i just cant. and like you i like having physical copies of games. im a fnaf veteran, i was there when eveything was written but i cant play the games on pc, ill try them on my ps4 6 years better late than never i suppose, thank u for reviewing this so i know what im getting my self into, man i also cant wait to get the books!
You’re welcome! I prefer them on console myself as well. After reviewing this and contemplating I think I know why they didn’t make a big collection menu, they’re still updating the games. Click team has issues with these games functioning the way they should with glitches and gameplay problems so they’re still being updated to this day. I’m going to guess coding issues with making a big collection game instead of updating the games individually could pose a problem for something else to go wrong since they won’t check each game to see if something they fixed made something else go haywire. Probably in the long run better for the fans they did it this way.

@@stamatia5bestt appreciate the support friend! Btw you can use the left and right stick together to make the cursor go faster in night 4 but the most recent update you can use a wrap around option that makes things much easier. My fnaf tips and tricks playlist will help you out in SL

I don't know why this game isn't on sale in physical stores in Portugal, I can only find it on Amazon
If I had to guess I’m going to say popularity. Most stores are going to have the popular games that are going to sell front, center, and in stock. The fnaf collection would probably sell eventually to the right person but the Maddens, Starfields, and Call of Duty’s are always in demand.

Thanks for the review I getting the game next week but I was really nervous if it was not working and problems but thanks I don't own the games so this core collection will be great I only have fnaf sb rn so thanks for this really helped
After this review came out I went into a deeper dive and found some major issues with SL but it was fixed. The games do have some minor bugs but nothing game breaking. All the games are playable and all trophies are obtainable

Night 4 literally NEEDS both L and R sticks, which is IMPOSSIBLE to do comfortably.

The other games are fun.
Since this came out they’ve updated it but it’s still not 100%. Even when you beat golden Freddy there is no spring trap cut scene so yea it still has its issues

I expected FNAF CC to be presented like Rare Replay, where even though the games would be downloaded as soon as the disc installed, there was still a fancy menu all the games could be accessed through complete with miscellaneous extras. Real letdown this is literally just an install disc for the digital versions of FNAF 1 to Sister Location.
I definitely understand that. It’s just a copy and paste of the games to disk it seems.

I have only ever played UCN, FNAF 1 and 2 so I want to play 3-5 but i'm torn on getting it or not it seems like it wouldn't really work on console but at the same time you said it translates well, I also hoped it would improve the graphics a little (i'm not sure if they have or not tbh) and the lack of anything new just seems so...empty feeling.
Also could you possibly elaborate on what you mean by not selecting which game to play inside the game?
So the games are still getting updates however they are coming VERY slowly. Tbh FNAF 2 just for an update which I’m not a fan of but others are so it’s all a matter of preference. Fnaf 4 is really quiet and I have issues hearing it sometimes in headphones at least the ps4 version. They all have their issues I found after sinking many hours into this game but it’s not a horrible pick up. And I did elaborate to the best of my ability with having a menu to pick the games from inside the disk instead of downloading them all individually.

Question, at 2:37 why is the download icon there? Do the games come on disc or is the disc acting as a license key to download the games like the telltale games used to do
The download icon is there because those are the games from the disk. If I were to download them they would replace the digital copy so I would only be able to play it if the disk was inserted.
On sister location, on night 4, move both of the sticks to make it faster
They fixed it completely about 3 months ago it now has the wrap around option.

There is alot of glitches for fnaf 4 like the one where you cant hear chicas breathing and sometimes your just frozen you cannot move and there are many more glitches ive encounted.

So with sister location, is the custom nights gamemode also buggy and messed up? I hear some complaints from people about that. And since your video has recently been made, I would assume they have fixed the glitches
So what I’ve noticed is Ennard can be a bit of a pain, Ballora sounds like she’s coming from both sides so it’s hard to pinpoint her direction, and anything with lolbit forget it. You need to hit lol on that little keypad and trying to pull that off with everything else going on forget it. If they made it so you can press left circle left to spell out lol it would fix issues. Also trying to boop bonnets snoot with minireenas on the screen using sticks is also a mess.

All the other games play great. Just that trophy glitch for FNAF2 still not fixed is the only issue I found with them

Yeah it surprising that sister locations which is a complex fnaf game can run on console but night 4 is brutal well the night already has a reputation of being burtal so much so that scott patch it to make it easiler but that slow moving cursor can cause problems is not impossible just really hard
It does run well after beating night 4 I made a video on how broken the game is when I finally reached custom night. Unfortunately Scott has nothing to do with port patches, it’s all up to Click Team.

Nah Scott’s behind the PC games. He sources the PS4, Xbox, And switch ports to Click Team. I’m not 100% who does the mobile ports.
@@Gribbon1020 what a shame that sister locations custom night is broken when the rest of sister locations work fine even with night 4 and ennard being difficult and the rest of the fnaf ports work just fine
FNAF 2 has minor issues too unfortunately. I’ve had multiple times doing Golden Freddy mode where I’ll be winding the music box and it acts as though it wasn’t being wound and the puppet gets set free. Also the mini game trophy glitch I mentioned. 1,3 and 4 are flawless ports. 2, SL, and FFPS on PS4 are bug filled.

Really wished they made a menu screen. Also why the hell didn't they include FFPS and UCN? I know they're not out yet but why couldn't they wait? And I don't want to sound rude but SL came out 6 months ago I think and they still havent patched anything. Why is it taking so long?
Cause now the have the opportunity to rerelease them in the Complete Edition. Which will come with all these games plus UCN and FFPS. After people buy the digital of those too. Bet you then we get a custom menu with that game. Also I have doubts they’ll ever fix Sister Locatipn.

Switch is the superior of the ports from what I gather. Just be prepared for some issues if you do decide to get it on PS4. Cause they aren’t 100%

For the 10/20 mode trophy on FNaF 2, does it matter if you set the levels manually or you use the golden Freddy preset? I heard someone say that you couldn't use the preset but that didn't make much sense to me and I wanted to verify before I put any attempts in.
I got the 10/20 mode trophy using the preset. You can check it on my PSN Gribbon1020 to check my trophy list to verify I have it.

It honestly took me months to do it. Foxy and Toy Bonnie are going to be your biggest culprits leading you to die directly and indirectly. Also one thing to be mindful of there is a glitch with the music box sometimes on PS4. If you catch it right before it goes off and start winding it the game won’t register it and the puppet will get released. This only happens on occasion though Just something to be aware of.

My PS4 account is from Saudi Arabia, and we do not have the digital version in the PS4 store. Can the physical version work?
To my knowledge yes the PS4 is region free when it comes to physical copies. I play games from the UK and other countries and it plays just fine.
Are games now less buggy then before? When l saw this came out I searched on you tube to see reviews for games and they said they are buggy.
I heard that chicas footsteps are silent. Did you have that problem ? Or they patched it?
@@markomiletic9992 never had an issue with any other game other than Sister location. Made a video on that and it’s horrible bugs. All the other games were fine to me.

Yep. All the mini games like circus baby in SL, delivery cakes to the crying kids in FNAF 3, the 4 games in FNAF 2 it’s all there.

Each game has their own trophy set but there is no platinum for any of them. Only a gold.

I expected a little bit of TLC to be added to it since it’s it’s first physical release of the game. Nothing flashy maybe some oohs and ahhs. Didn’t expect to have to download them either. To much to ask to actually have them playable from the disk?

@@Gribbon1020 pretty sure at least from what I’ve heard, clickteam (the game engine that FNaF 1, FNaF 2, FNaF 3, FNaF 4, and sister location were made in) has limits of a certain amount of stuff you can put in it. not sure if it’s true though
I can understand that. I don’t know much about game code I will admit however if the games are already all on the disk and well below disk space to be put on the disk I don’t see how an interactive menu would be too much of a hassle to access the games and couldn’t be made. The games just feel copy and pasted on the disk. That’s just me though, what do I know.
You can adjust the speed of the cursor in sister location

If you have VR that’s the best way to play help wanted. If you don’t it’s rather boring to be honest. But if you have all the FNAF games on other platforms you’re not getting anything new with the core collection. After making this video I’m finding out all the PS4 ports have their issues.

Found that out later on by accident. They tell you how to do everything else in the game but that. Notification before the night starts would of been helpful.

Switch version is really bad to me, it’s really easy to do the mask and camera glitch, fnaf 3 has no Easter eggs, and fnaf 4 is the only 1 that isn’t terrible in the collection, I mean I still like fnaf 2 but the rest are buggy.
I’ve heard the switch is the superior of the console ports this is the first Ive heard of these issues. I haven’t played them myself though so i can’t say
