About 30 years ago my father had a friend who invited him to go on a boat out on the western coast of Ireland, but my fathers sister had a baby who was going to die. So my father couldn’t go and had to go to his sister to pay respect to the babies final moments. My fathers friend then invited someone else to go with him on his boating trip. Unfortunately the weather was not as planned and my father later got word that his friends boat capsized in a storm and they both died.
I only have 1 question: Why? Why do people go out into seas, or at speeds, that threaten the stability and safety of their boat and which might kill them by drowning, or concusion, or prop mangalation? They could just stay home, or on the beach, and have a nice time, letting the sea do it's own thing without them. I love the sea and boats -- but only when I'm sure I'm not gunna come home dead or incapacitated.
