- Testing out the new DJI Air 3! I'm so excited to share this project with you guys! After spending a month with the DJI Air 3, my friend Jake Guzman and I pushed it to its limits filming the most insane action sports throughout Utah and Washington. We had so much fun pushing ourselves with this project and hope you enjoy!

Haha thank you! I hope to have more views eventually!
Amazin work, this is insipiring!
Im in middle school and want to work with cinematography and your channel inspired me a lot!
If you dont mind me asking a couple questions.
Is cinematography your "real" job/work or just a hobby?
What did you study in university/college? (im assuming you already finished college... because the quality of your cinematography is of someone that works with it for a couple years minimum...
Sorry if this is too much im just new in this world and was just curious
keep making films ;D
Thank you so much! That means a lot! I am a full time freelance director/cinematographer. I actually went to a year of film school, then decided it wasn’t for me and dropped out! Not saying you should do the same, school is very important but it just wasn’t the path for me. So many things are learned just by making things over and over again. You can learn a lot more from experience than from school in my opinion. So start making things! Doesn’t even need to be good, but just doing a project finishing it and posting and moving to the next thing is so creatively fulfilling and will get you really far. Best of luck to you!
I’ve watched this more than 10 times over now. Quick quesh: was everything shot on HLG? And is it better than DlogM?
Glad to hear it! It was all shot on D log M
good job
Incredible, I'm intrigued to know how they filmed? Very complex frames and all the video has a great resolution. Did the details film it with a probe lens? how did they do it when you see the drone flying?
How was the shot of the low-angle camera tied to the bike in the woods? Hopefully they can share a bit of how they filmed.
Hi! Great questions, I'll have a BTS video very soon! To answer your questions, yes the shots of the drone at the beginning were filmed with a probe lens. The Laowa 24mm f14 cine. The shots of the drone flying were either filmed by another Air 3 or an Air 2s, the low angle shot of the bike was with a DJI Action 2 attached with a clamp arm to the frame of the bike. And that was the same setup for the shot of the drone in the forest looking at the camera, but mounted on top

Congratulations, I found it incredible because the image quality is never lost. Normally, when using those complex compositions, they use other equipment that worsens the quality. I was blown away by how good action 2 looks. I messaged you on Instagram. Hopefully, we can talk about color correction, which I believe is the most important factor in your piece to achieve that visual harmony.
Hi Dylan. Amazing Video!!!. Would you share the flight settings?TIA.
Thank you! Most was shot at 4k d log m, 24fps 1/50 shutter using nd filters
dude i subscribe to your channel,. your color grading is soo great,. could you make some tutorial on color grading? and what luts do you used or software to achieved that kind of color grading???
I’ve been thinking about it! I might have that soon
i'm sorry but at this point why the hell are people wasting money on shooting out of helicopters with cine cameras? because most people cannot tell the difference between this and a much more expensive setup for aerial video capture... especially once youtube compresses the shit out of it. great work!
Better than the official launch video, I hope one day I could create a video like this
Thanks so much!
Great video man! Hope it goes viral!
Thanks so much! Hope so too haha 🤞
