The big methods are using flies and lures. I know people do well using streamers (I like wooly buggers) and I also love using spoons and Rapalas. As far as baits go I’m not sure; not much of a bait fisherman. I would assume wax worms and night crawlers.
Not a ton; it is an incredible fishery that I love so much, but I do really love trying new locations. I have been there probably about 6 times in the last year
Y’all need to get into Fly Fishing. To Easy on a Lure, and there’s nearly nothing to it. Fly fishing this lake is what it’s really about. Y’all are missing out.
Thanks for the comment! I have definitely heard a lot about needing to fly-fish more; I enjoy it, but am really not that great at it. I love using spinning gear, and won't ever give that up. but I definitely need to fly fish a lot more. I do enjoy using wooly buggers. Thanks for the advice!
1. Perfect choice on the burger
2. When's my invite to Henry's?? That lake is awesome.
3. Great video
Thanks for the support! I am down to go! Let me know!
@@FishingCircle when does the lake freeze over for ice fishing?
I think it’ll be frozen in a month or so. Looking forward to hitting the ice! 🎣
Last I heard it has 4 inches
@@FishingCircle my buddy and I are heading out there 2 weeks from today
Colorado spoon for the win!!
My absolute go to man. I have caught more fish using those than any other thing. Thanks for the tip and support!
Nice catches. I need to get back up there before it gets frozen over. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for the support! Yeah I bet the days of open water are limited. Getting cold! I am excited to ice fish again though!
So fun!
It really was!
Love it brother...nice video

What baits work there well?

Replied from my personal channel 😂 Hope you have had success out there!
Do you know if they have a place up there where you could rent a kayak? Did you stay over night ?
I didnt stay overnight and I am not sure. They do have a lot of lodges and guide shops nearby that might rent out kayaks.
You fish Henry's lake often?

What are you using for bait ?
Gold/silver spoon
@@FishingCircle awesome, I just got my license and I’m so excited to drive up there when it warms up
