Just retuned from Chile. What a trip!!! We stayed and fished out of Chimalfe Lodge on Lake Yelcho, a short flight out of Purto Montt and then a short drive out of Chaiten. Seeing trout come two and three feet out of the water after a dragon fly was utterly amazing. Don’t worry about the weather, the fish will eat no matter what the weather is. We had an amazing time there. The fishing was great and in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Many thanks to Jamie Castillo our Guide and Lodge Manger for a trip of a lifetime!!! See you in 2025 Jamie from George V

I am kind of new to fly fishing, at least as a seriously pursued love. And Kelly has become one of my rock star heroes to watch and learn from. I will never get to Patagonia. So I really appreciate getting to experience it vicariously. The natural history fascinates me. As does the human version including angling. I will fish the McCloud River later this year for the first time. The origin of Patagonia's rainbows won't be lost on me. Thank you for this lovely production!

Maybe one day, we'll see. Right now I've got my plate full trying to figure out Lake Okeechobee and it's big bass. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

I'm glad the mountains of Patagonia are as distracting as they were when I was there five years ago. But the full impact is best appreciated after a five hour drive down a dirt/gravel road! Ah, Patagonia!

Love watching Kelly cast a dry! If only it had been his cripple pattern from his book he prolly would have caught every fish in the lake. Probably why they wouldn’t let him throw it, they wanted to make sure every fish in the lake didn’t have a sore mouth….

I like Kelly on the bench as much as anybody, but I learn a ridiculous amount when this guy is on the water. My latest Internet search consists of dragonfly farts.

expensive long plane rides and lodges arent for me .I can catch all i need within driving distance from where i live.Everything has to be exploited today ,every inch .I have very few goals but never getting on a airplane is one.Why be a tourist needing a guide when you are the guide?
