If you can’t keep your hood up as much as you want I’ll be so pissed. It looked like the hood system was like syndicate where the second you start fighting it goes down. I wanna be able to keep it up as much as I want as the player.

I believe you can and if i remember correctly your hood will be in cutscenes as well, i just hope if we have a helm on it will show underneath the hood
That’s not how syndicate did it.
The hood in syndicate doesnt go down if you enter high profile combat so, you are mistaken there. That looks like the case in valhalla tho.
These side missions seems way more interesting than odyssey

Haven’t played the game but from your description it seems Ubisoft are not afraid to explore new mechanics and play with balance from game to game which I really like

Looks fun and amazing but how much is really going to be retail. Have not even finish Origins or Odyssey yet. Started playing and really enjoying top-down isometric RPG. Too bad this one is not like that.

Haven't kept up with the AC series since Black Flag but i have one question...How the fuck is this an Assassins Creed game? In what way are vikings assassins lol? Raiding is the complete opposite of being stealth and even if vikings didn't raid very often they're a lot more adventurous than mischievous . Stealth should be the core game play in a game revolving around assassins but hey shields and heavy weapons seem to be the way to go i guess.
