Thank you so much SchminkenGrime for this informative tutorial, I learned a lot! I always learn a lot from all of these beautiful tutorials on this wonderful channel. Ms. Linda is an exceptional teacher & Special Effects makeup artist. My only request is could she do a tutorial demonstrating how to create a silicone prosthetic using platsil gel, deadener and baldies by mold life? My favorite prosthetic Ms. Linda has ever done is the silent monster where she created a creature that possessed her body. That makeup was amazing and I would love to know how to create prosthetics just like that? Please and thank you 🙏🏽
I also use the FIFO Bottles for pouring silicone, they are awesome for controlling smaller batches. Great video.

Please can you advise me on a good release agent for Platsil gel 00. I am casting from wooden outer doors, I want them to look skin-like.

And what is the appropriate material other than silicone, if it is not good for use in this case?

Yes you can use it on the chin and neck. Just make sure you deaden the silicone enough that is can easily move in all directions of the neck. The thicker and langer the prosyhetic the higher the weight. So it depends on that. I would use silicone but you can also use foam latex for something like this
Does it take slightly longer to set with deadener added
Yes! The more Deadener you ad, the longer it takes to set.
