    What is he dipping the fan brush in? Just more of the silicone?

      Naptha. It's a paint thinning solvent. Works great with thinning silicone. I'd recommend mineral spirits as a "healthier" alternative. Works just the same, not as harsh of a chemical, better smelling. Always always ALWAYS use a respirator or dust mask.
