    I remember (Fire Commissioner) Ed Thompson who was also a Judge for years. He and his wife Doris were very friendly with my Grandparents and I remember time spent with the Thompsons and their kids with much fondness....it was so nice to see and hear Judge Thompson in his prime. Thank you

    Betty White is a huge animal rights activist. I'm sure she was not pleased with the bullfighting segment.

    If my memory serves me correct, Dee O'Hara remained nurse to NASA's astronauts well into the space shuttle era.

      The first space shuttle, STS-1, was her last NASA assignment.

    I would have had to be disqualified with Dee O’Hara. About 50 years ago my parents gave a book written by Dee O Hara about her experiences as the nurse with NASA, and I recognised her when they said what her job was. I also think there was a photograph of her injecting an orange. I am wondering if the book was written shortly after this appearance.

    Betty White Is 98 - and She's Not Slowing Down Anytime Soon. ... Betty boasts an impressing 117 credits and currently holds the Guiness World Record for the longest career in entertainment, but she's best known for her roles as Rose Nylund in Golden Girls and Sue Ann Nivens in The Mary Tyler Moore Show
    Betty White; 40 on this episode and 98 today (and she hasn't changed a bit)

    Tom Poston was so handsome! He has a bit the same look as the lead singer of Dire Straits.
    And look how cute Betty was as a young lady! Little did she know, she had another 70 years of life ahead! She was just a child here!
    Johnny always looked the same!

      Me neither. Ive got a ‘self cleaning’ oven, but I’ve tried sneaking up on it several times and never once found it doing anything. Think I’ve been conned!

      @@keithnaylor1981 l have an older self cleaning oven and the last time l used the self cleaning feature it didn't work. I found out that baking soda and vinegar cleans it just as well as oven cleaner without the strong chemicals. I remember my mom using Easy Off and by the time she finished the fumes were getting to her.

    Round 3, the matador can't be #2 bc the running of the bulls is not done in Sevilla, it's Pamplona on 7/7 each year, maybe with exception of 2020 during CoVid.

    • @piustwelfth
      @piustwelfth 2 года назад

      Yes, that disqualified him, but I picked wrong and chose #1 who looked like a bullfighter. I'm surprised the panel was not aware of Pamplona.

    Betty White's reasoning in rounds 1 and 2 made no sense whatsoever. She claimed that a liar would not look the panel in the eye, but she went ahead and voted for *two* such contestants anyway. Crazy.

    How did they figure that there were 4 incorrect answers when Tom Poston disqualified himself?

    • @stanbrown32
      @stanbrown32 2 года назад +2

      Whenever a panelist disqualify him- or herself, it counts as an automatic wrong answer for the $250 prize. Otherwise, it would disadvantage the contestants--they'd lose out on prize money whenever a panelist knew one of the contestants.
