This tutorial I use paper, cardstock, crochet thread, paint, chalk pastels and Triple Thick. I made some water slide decals using the website Canva and waterslide decal paper but thats optional. You could always paint your own flowers too. I used a template I created using my method from my galvanized tub video. I modified it some to create different sizes of pictures and basins.

These are absolutely gorgeous! I love the details where the enamel has peeled off and rust is showing. So realistic! 💕💕Thank you for this tutorial. I really want to make a set for myself now😊
Thanks so much! 😊 They are fun to make and hard to make just one. 🤪😆 My husband keeps telling me that he loves the rusty age spots where the enamel chipped away too.
They look so cute. That paper quilling mold seems like a pretty handy tool.

@@carol-annegriffin6234 Thanks! I’m glad that was helpful! I couldn’t just do one color. 😆
Beautiful colours and patterns! Not only beautiful but realistically "worn"! Reminds me of my antique pitcher and bowl for Christmas one year long ago ❤.
@@reginawilliams226 Thank you! 😊 What a sweet memory! ❤️ Do you still have it?
@@Lauras-tinyview Yes, I still have it , it's a cream background with maroon painted flowers.
It is refreshing to see you use the water slide decals correctly!
I see SO many people that float it off in the water then try to pick up just the decal without the paper backing, and bring it to the piece.
It often folds or gets bubbles.
That is literally why they are called "water slide decals" because you sliiiide them off!
Beautiful job!
@@marinamarioni6384 Exactly! 😂 I don’t understand how they pick them up. Sounds really hard that way.

Too stinkin' cute!! Incidentally, (you may already know this...) your method for attaching the handles to the pitchers is exactly how potters attach them, starting at the top, curving them down, and then attaching the bottom. Pretty cool!
@@lindenjenesse5078 Thank you!! That’s very interesting! I did not know that. I struggle with handles and that seems to be the easiest way that works for me.

These are so awesome! I'd love it if you'd share your materials list, and maybe links for where to purchase. Thanks for sharing!!
@@sarahmaggiemaddox5196 Thank you! I almost always list the materials in my description. I’ve also been trying to show the supplies in the beginning of the video. In almost every video I use extra heavy cardstock from Paper Studio that I purchase from Hobby Lobby craft store. I also use Elmers Glue All in every project. In my Old West Bath House video I show the package of the brand of water slide decal paper I bought from Amazon. I’m still a pretty young channel and there is still so much I’m learning and figuring out. I’m hoping to one day have a link to all the products I purchase from Amazon. With the exception of the cardstock it’s exclusive to Hobby Lobby. Thanks for watching!
I love them they’re so sweeeeet!! You can also use nail decals, they have lots of flower ones.
Thanks for the tip!
So cute!
@@tinynina76 Thank you!! 😊
These are wonderful, you are so talented. Did I miss or did not hear the explanation of how you did the wear spots? I have rewatched and can't seem to see or hear it. In Joy
@@vivianking8143 I actually realized I forgot to film it. So toward the end of the video I mention it super quick. Sorry about that. I just used black or really dark brown paint. Just put the little dabs of paint where I thought there would be wear on them. Then I took a little bit of brown chalk pastels and rubbed around the paint blob when it was dry to make it look rusty.
@@Lauras-tinyview thanks so much. I am eager to try these. In Joy
You can sand the paper quilled thingies…. Im learning aaaalllll the things
Cardstock?! No way! *settles in to watch to magic*
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!! Thanks for watching!😊
Encore bravo! J attends toujours avec impatience vos vidéos! Merci!
Pouvez vous me dire quel type de décalcomanies vous utilisez? Sont ils déjà imprimés ou faites vous vous- même l impression sur un papier spécifique ?
Merci pour vos conseils !
Et à très bientôt.

I’m so happy you look forward to my videos! ❤❤ I ordered special paper from Amazon. It is water slide decal paper. The paper is plain then you add your designs and print on your printer. There were several different brands of the water slide paper to choose from. I noticed they had one for an ink jet printer and one for a laser jet printer. For the designs I go to the website Canva. I use their free version. They have a lot for free. I searched for flowers and filled up the page with lots of flowers in different sizes. That one sheet of paper that I showed in the video will last me forever! I have never used them but I heard nail art has ready made water slide decals or stickers that would probably work too.
Hi Laura, The jugs and basins are gorgeous. I will definitely be making these. Is there anything you can’t make? I never know where to buy the transfers. I bought nail art stickers for adding to pieces but I haven’t used as yet but am presuming they just peel off and stick.I don’t think they are the same as the water transfers which is what I am looking for. Could you please tell me what I should be ordering and where do you get them from. I usually shop on Temu because they are so reasonably priced and delivery is so quick to Oz. Once again thanks for the tutorial. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
@@RobynWright-f1g Hello Robyn, I don’t have any experience with the nail art. Long ago I used water side decals on my nails. That was over 20 years ago. 😆 I’ve never tried Temu. We use Amazon a lot. I bought the water slide decal paper from Amazon. They had several brands to pick from and whether you had ink jet or laser jet printer. If you haven’t seen my Old West Bathhouse video go check it out. I show the package of the decal paper I used. Maybe Temu would carry the same brand. The only reason I picked that brand was that it was the cheapest. 😆 I went to the website Canva for the flower designs. They have a lot of flowers to pick from the free version. You can size them up or down. Take care! 🥰
@@Lauras-tinyview Thanks Laura, I will check out the video. I think I may have watched it. I have just bought a Brother Cut and Scanner but it’s still in the box as I have been out of action with a terrible inflammation from my neck down my entire body to my leg. Six weeks so far but have just been put on steroids. I think I strained my neck lifting my 5yo granddaughter out of the bath. I keep forgetting I am not a spring chicken any more. But can’t wait to try my Brother and get a start on making some of these wonderful projects. I’m hoping it will help me with cutting out all the pieces instead of by hand. I have to learn how to use it first. So watching some training tutorials. Cheers Robyn 🥰🩷
@@RobynWright-f1g Oh no that sounds painful! I have neck and shoulder problems and can’t cut for very long like I used to. 😆 Part of aging I guess. I thought I was going to have to give up miniatures. That’s why I bought a cutting machine. It has been so helpful. I’m still learning things it can do after having it a few years. You will enjoy it tremendously when you’re feeling better. I was interested in the Brother but ended up with the Silhouette. No reason really. Start on a small project first. Once you know how to cut squares and rectangles in different sizes you can make a lot of things. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
@@Lauras-tinyview Thank you Laura. I am hoping that I will get a lot of use out of it and it doesn’t sit idle all the time. Cheers Robyn ❤️🥰
Those turned out really cute! I love using the water decals, there are so many different ones out there to choose from. I have never tried Triple Thick, I usually use Diamond Glaze. Have you used it and if so, what is the difference between it and the Triple Thick? Thank you for sharing!
Thanks!I have used Diamond Glaze and I like it. Triple Thick gives it a ceramic finish and no brush marks. I think that’s because it’s self leveling. Looking forward to your videos this weekend.
You do not have thick fingers- you're just working with very tiny things! 😂
@@supertinywhimsilistic That’s a sweet way to look at it! 😆
