Can you get someone from AFE to explain the exhaust kit on your car and where the valves are?
Ever get around to seeing what she made on 93 without the torque limitations? I’ll be running the exact same setup when my engine gets back. After speaking with you I was close to just finding a low mileage engine and replacing as you did, but for the cost I just decided to have her built for safe measure and let North Raleigh Performance handle the removal and reinstall. I Should have went big boost instead of DAW lol, but hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20.

Very Professional video as usual! I'm glad you love the car & love the way it drives "to me that's what we focus on 1st not peak #s" & the broad tq curve/average power is all that matters when making a car fast & your car makes a lot of average overall power... What many don't know is that your DA "dense altitude was 3740ft" on those runs. To put things into perspective "if you were at sea level you would pick up roughly 10-12% power" I also know your car is tuned pretty safe "nowhere near a kill map" & theres a lot left in her. 550whp on 93oct can be had & in much better conditions maybe more..

Chris is the man! They tuned my stock turbo 340i on E50. Debating on ultraflow or going top mount 6466 next
Should go port! I tried to do blends but I think it becomes a pain eventually mixing constantly. Full e85 with reflex controller call it a day!
Mixing e50 is the easiest mix. I only use e90 ignite, and with pump 93 it’s half and half mix. Been doing it this way forever, very simple.

I have a custom map too but just an e60 map. So issue probably dont apply to me. I wonder if its possible to switch from custom to OTS yet?

Pardon if I missed it in a previous vid, but what spark plugs are you using currently and at what gapping? I have a 2017 440i with a decatted down pipe and a tune.
Is the torque limitation on the zf? I use MHD and I noticed it has an option to fix the reduced power, but I am a little scared of any damage it could cause…

Hey @thic whips is there any concerns in terms of reliability to run e50 like any check engine lights will this cause any problems later on down the road in the engine??
I was gonna say how disappointing those 93 octane numbers were. It would be interesting to see what it actually makes without the torque limitation.

@@supitsolivlogs have you found out what the best turbo on 93 octane would be? I’m trying to decide on flow max or pure 800, or is there something better now? I only have 91 octane at 4500 ft elevation. 💔
@@badass1g The problem with those turbos are the stock housing that's restrictive. if you want to stay stock location I would wait until CTS releases their 6 port B58 turbo and go with that one. Pure is actually also working on a new Puree800/850 where they will cast their own manifold that will be larger and less restrictive than the current ones.

They do, I’ve had pure800 on my gen2 and filmed 4 or 5 pure800 setups on this channel.
Damn can’t even get 500 hp with that turbo and fp? I was hoping to get 500 with that same setup. Maybe I need a bigger turbo? Edit, how can someone find out sooner if that limitation is happening factor is happening?
The torque limitation only occurs when the car is on the dyno.

Wait a minute, you don't have XHP stage tune for the transmission too? That should've removed the torque limiter
In the video, I discuss how I am on XHP stage 3, this removes all transmission limiters.This issue is a torque limiter in the actual tune itself. They are separate according to my tuner and MHD.

Custom map for daw turbo by cd919. Ots maps are only for cars with basic bolts ons.
