I love the dad on the right walking out of the room. He must be allergic to chocolate, and did not wish to watch the absolute carnage as the cookie was eaten alive in order to spare his own sanity.
Nah the cookie was the only survivor at the end as you can see. The dad knew what was about to happen, he's seen it before in the war. His platoon was deep in enemy lines, starving, exhausted and going insane. They stumbled upon a small cookie village that have never seen humans before. The platoon thought their prayers have been answered, but it turns out their worst nightmare has begun. The seemingly innocent cookies started devouring the fathers entire platoon one bye one. The chief cookie laughing as he pours a glass of milk for each limb he's about to savor, the father watching helpless and broken as he watched his friends get eaten one by one. The chief had never eaten such tasty snacks before and thought they were a rare delicacy, he let the father go free to repopulate his tasty morsels. The father upon finding out his daughter's friend was from that very tribe sent chills down his spine, he pleaded with his wife to just buy a cake and do not anger the cookie gods, but the wife was already allured by those tasty chocolate chips. He knew he had to get out, his entire family was about to be eaten right before his eyes again and he would rather die than go through that again.

This is actually pretty sad. Dude came to the party to enjoy some fun with people he thought were his friends. Instead he was eaten alive. Not only that but it’s a kid’s birthday party so we can only assume that he is a kid himself. His parents/caregivers must be worried sick about where he’s been after thinking he was going to a party. Not only that but when the little girl says “We’re not having cake” her voice cracks meaning she’s sad about the whole thing but was more than likely talked into it by her parents or other friends
The most interesting part is the cookie doesn’t get mad, he doesn’t get scared, he doesn’t curse, and he doesn’t even run. All his life he knew that as a cookie, he was meant to be eaten, frankly , he didn’t expect to get this far in life. But to be betrayed by his friends, the only people he truly trusted in a world that wanted him dead, it hits deep, it’s personal. He isn’t mad at the hand he got dealt, he made peace with it a long time ago, he’s just disappointed that it would end this way.

But until he is the only Chip Ahoy cookie up there, he is still waiting for somebody to end the constant fear a wondering if he would be eaten or not.
