- Here is the flight of my Durafly EFXtra 975mm PNF on 4S power.
My friend Zach made a surprise visit at the park to see my Durafly EFXtra in action and decided to try his hand at capturing the flight footage. He did an excellent job considering that he normally doesn’t record anything like this. I think the Durafly EFXtra and its ridiculous speed took him by surprise. As Zach would say, she’s “stupid fast!!”

Thanks for watching!
Very impressive!
After just trashing my fifth SKIPPER, I may have to look closer at this one as a replacement!!! Great Flying!
Thanks Bill!
Thanks for the the great video. Always can count on you to be very detailed in your comments. Great flying... Cheers
Thanks man!
Wow.....nice flight !
Thank you!
That's some nice work and amazing flying. I've been wanting to get one and now you just made me press the confirm button. Mine will be fpv.
Thanks for sharing your skills and this amazing plane
I'm curious, did you need to use more than 100% throw on the rudder to hold the knife edge? Mine falls off with the rudder servo set at 100%. Thanks man!
I’m at 100% with the rod moved to the innermost hole.
ALWAYS EXCELLENT WORK DERICK. THEY STILL OFFER THIS PLANE AND I'M THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE TO COMPLIMENT MY DURAFLY EXCALIBUR. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE TWO OF THEM FLYING TOGETHER...YOU ON THE BRIGHT BLUE EFXTRA...AND ME ON THE GLOWING GREEN EXCAL...IT WOULD BE "BLAZZZZINNNN" TO SAY THE LEAST. Cheers my Friend!
Crazy fast! That sound is the coolest!
I agree!! The sound is unmistakable! :)
It is like the sound of the night fury 🐲
I have some 2200 4s 75c Graphene batteries, fairly thick...do you think they may fit?
My Pulse 4S 2250mAh 45C lipos are already a tight fit. It will be very tight with your 75C Graphenes and May require a bit of interior sculpting.
This is really my kind of a plane! I think I need to get one!
Very smooth flying dude, how much throws did you have on the controls and how much expo did you use.
Thanks. Did you read the video description that I wrote up for everyone to see? The answer to your question is there.. -__-
Good stuff man!
These are fun, gotta get mine in the air again, broke the prop on landing.
Yeah, I agree! And yes, this plane will occasionally break a prop even with the most gentle of belly landings and 0 throttle. I've had more luck using the stock 7x6.5 than the APC 7x6 prop, as the APC 7x6 was the first prop I've broken in a long time. Currently using the stock 7x6.5 and have had quite a few flights with good luck so far.
JohnVHRC You need to set your brake on the ESC.
Did that screamer come pre-installed or did y'all add that?
What do you mean by pre-installed? If you look up this model on the Hobbyking website, you would see that its a plug and fly model where you have to provide your own receiver and batteries. Some assembly is required. And the sound you hear is how it sounds stock, with a well-balanced prop.
with a 3000 4s battery does the engine burn?
Why would the engine burn?? This plane was intended for 3-4S lipos. And good luck trying to fit a 3000mAh lipo in the compartment, lol. 4S 2200mAh lipos are a tight fit as is.
Woo-hoo! Um-hum, "she's stupid fast!" :*)
I love it! The speed is great. And the precision is even better. :)
Bravo Derick, from today your name is "Very Fast Man"...Have nice weekend.
Not entry-level I'm sure but awesome to watch
Thanks. Definitely not entry level, nor would I ever claim it to be. But a plane to keep the pilot on their toes.
Non dramatic landing. This video makes me want to order one. I have a few fast planes but they don't have that sound. I need something in my hanger with some kick.
This would be one to provide that kick.
Excellent plane until you try and put a 4s inside it. Look forward to a bent canopy and lots of heartache
And now 1 year later with countless 4S flights, I don’t have a bent canopy, and I have no heartache - I have no idea what you’re talking about. And I’m still on the same prop. Don’t backhandedly tell someone to “look forward” to something just because you had a bad experience with it.
