I like the stick sensitivity settings. The S-shape curve shallow rise to maximum or sharp rise to maximum sets how quickly the drone reacts to stick movements. It is good to experiment with. I got a nice cinematic movement from the drone with the stick sensitivity settings. Thanks.
That was a nice flight, great distance for being around that many trees! Video looked nice too. I wish more people would educate themselves in the USA about where and how people can fly. Im tired of explaining it to them. I hope to post something soon from a nice cooling off trip I just took up to my local mountain top. Conditions could not have been better for flying. Im going to experiment around with the Expo tuning. If I figure anything good out Ill let you know! I just want to slow down the acceleration of the turning, especially for Yaw. There needs to be a little more dead area in the middle of the stick.
You found a great location to test fly the Fimi Mini 3, and you captured some nice footage. The drone seemed to before well for you, and the signal was good, considering all the trees around you. Great video, and thanks for sharing.
Just got one of these and amazed by the little thing. Been flying fpv drones for the last 7 years and fancied a change. For the price you can't go wrong.
Doesn't feel good to get out of the house and go someplace different.?? I think you heard those kayakers there but you didn't see them on the screen. I think there were three kayaks. Anyway I'll send you a coffee after that, that was really nice.
Thanks.. The sun was over my shoulder on to the screen and I saw nothing. I heard them .. lucky I was high enough up. I may go back there and try 2.4 vs 5.8
It did well. Ever think of trying 2.4ghz. 2.4ghz should work well in the middle of nowhere. PS. Range was good but perplexed by signal degrading when the drone was less than 200m away. PPS. If you had the new Fimi Tele drone you would have seen the angry kayakers using 32x zoom. You could have even yelled at them using the megaphone option.
On my original X8 SE I found the supplied sticks very 'twitchy' to use, I replaced them with longer sticks that gives you a smoother more precise control. I am currently waiting for an X8 Mini 3 to arrive and will be getting longer sticks for the controller. Nice video.
@GorillamansGarage yes, goes back to RC gliders in the 70s & 80s, I also fly with the controller mounted on a tray with a four strap neck harness, old habits die hard...lol
Nice video, thanks!
Muito bom velhote, adoro seus vídeos e suas análises são sempre excelentes e minuciosas 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Abraços do Brasil 🇧🇷

We went out to another spot today and re-tested the 2.4 & 5.8 signal also a cheap action camera. 😂😳😱👍
Nice one mate it's flying really good mate great video Don 🤠🇬🇧👍👍👍✈️
I will admit.. It's portability, foldability & re-charging is a lot better than the DJI stuff.
That was a lovely flight G-Man. I enjoyed watching the views at this new location, especially the lake. Thanks for sharing it.
another fine video. Thanks again.

I agree.. I especially like the form factor and the usb-c charging. I find DJI drones so awkward to open up and store.

I did not see anything until I reviewed the video. The sun really glared my screen.
Merci #jfr900
Nice spot! Think that's warm, come to TX, nothing so interesting to see and hot as an oven.
I was in TX several years ago.. Very hot but Dry heat . Here it's the humidity that chokes you.

So you are a pincher not a thumber?

parece a represa Billings aqui de são Paulo
There are 1,000's of lakes in Southern Ontario. I just looked up the Billings reservoir.. It is almost identical.. WOW.
I'd like ask. What is your go-to tablet now days for using with controllers that doesn't have built in screens.
I like my Teclast T40HD.. but it is not that bright. I wish Fimi would make a screen RC for their Mini line up.
Ok. Thanks
