      They are found at your local pet store, usually by the fish ( in my store, witch is pet smart, ) but are also found by the reptiles ( turtles, lizards, etc. )

    As for the tree frogs there are many different species, for example the short section about the whites tree frog could have been expanded slightly because the red eye is much different in care.
    Although they have similarities I’m my opinion, the whites tree frog only vocalizes if it is a male and very rarely if female, and they do not need to eat as often as he states, whites are ferocious eaters and will normally only eat one or twice per week with a large variety of its diet including small roaches, crickets, and even wax or super worms etc.
    If you want a frog as a pet do research before you get one and make sure you are confident and ready for a long term responsibility.

      Jake cunningham American bullfrogs get huge and require too much space. an African bullfrog might be better.

    Hi this may be a bit random but would a surinam horned.frog or Asian leaf frog good for begginers

    • @joshsfrogsvideos5594
      @joshsfrogsvideos5594 6 лет назад

      I would say that the surinam horned frog would be easier just based on the space requirement. Adult Asian leaf frogs need about 30 gallons of space whereas a surinam horned toad needs much less space. Wild caught specimens make caring for these animals more difficult so we always recommend captive bred animals to help mitigate this.

    do any of these frogs require a heat Mat? or anything plugged in? I currently have a Scorpion and 4 Tarantulas that I can mist and was thinking about getting dart frogs if I could mist them with a spray bottle. could I?

    • @krzysztofmaksyminko8657
      @krzysztofmaksyminko8657 4 года назад

      You can hand mist yes and they don't need additional heating. You can keep them in the same temperature you keep your Ts

      Yellow spotted climbing toads or white's tree frogs are easily handled. Dart frogs and mantellas are more "look at" pets.

    • @samthomson4388
      @samthomson4388 8 лет назад +1

      Not recommend but can work but it depends on the species if your are going to feed them already dead u will have to wiggle the food in front of is face to act as a stimulant. Not recommend

    • @JoshsFrogs
      @JoshsFrogs  8 лет назад +1

      We'd recommend feeding live crickets.
