Liara is meant to have grown since ME1. She was naive, and still basically a teen by Asarii standards but her determination to save you plus working as a Shadow Broker agent has made her more cunning, hence the badassery. Also it's written that way in the script...😁
Kaidan and Ashley definitely deserved more than they got in ME2. I never thought about a Loyalty Mission AU fic, but now I want to write one. Thanks for the inspiration!
I used to forgot to do that until I played on Insanity lol. On lower difficulties, it doesn’t really matter how you spec your squad because Shepard is more than enough to kill everything lol, but on Insanity? You need every ounce of help you can get lol, and your squadmates’ skill specs are pretty important. That’s why I never forget to assign skills for guest squadmates again lol.
It’s so funny not having this DLC whilst playing ME2, Liara just emails you being like “hey bestie I’m the Shadow Broker now, you need anything you let me know ya hear?” And you’re just like …. U WOT 🤣 I know we hate words that aren’t on https/ao3 but the dossiers give some PIPING hot tea on your crew-mates… especially Miranda, they’re worth a quick scan just for that honestly 🤣
I encourage you to discover that every line is worth the invested time in the shadowbroker's dossiers. Every line is a love letter from the developers to those characters! Loved the episode, as always!😊😊 (Couldn't watch all the episode this morning, I hope my comment is still relevant by the end 😅)
So fun little thing to note there is actually a book (or comic one or the other) about Liara and Feron getting Shepard's body back from the Broker. Also I highly recommend more chats with mordin cause there's a funny scene you can get speaking with him. Another thing worth noting is the Asari in the frame that the bartender lady was looking at, that's Liara.
When you opened the dossiers and realized how much reading there was 😂😂😂 i felt that. Someone got paid by the word on those 😅 Tali and Grunt are must reads, Thane and Samara because of their backstory, Miranda's is okay, and Garrus...because it's Garrus. The rest are unremarkable, except maybe Hackett. Enjoying watching your playthrough. Good luck 😃
@@basicwitgirlYou'll get a kick out of Tali's for sure 😅 If I may make a suggestion, since you like the incisor sniper rifle, you may like the vindicator assault rifle, it too fires in 3-round bursts, just without the scope. The Arc Projector is also a fantastic heavy weapon, really good for hordes or just when you need a little crowd control. 😊
Ardakt-yakshis can only be made from two asari (purebred asari). It's why there is a taboo about pureblood asari and they're sometimes discriminated against. Liara is a pureblood asari. The matriarch bartender has a pureblood daughter. She was looking at her pureblood daughter in that surveillance video.
Gg on the DLC. It's one that keeps on giving. Also, glad that you now understand the love for Liara more. I find it difficult to not romance her. The new shadowbroker and shepard could be a power couple lol. You not noticing Garrus was knocked out was funny. Shoutout Taylor for calling that out and the overall editing once again. Killer episode.

the shadow broker dossiers are actually really fun, I probably wouldnt look at all of them lol but if you wanted to check them out for a couple of your favorites (sadly no kaidan lol) they can be very amusing and a good look at some of their personality you dont get to see personally. Tali's especially, not that im biased or anything
Lost it when Taylor put you in jail and when you followed that up with the Kaiden search. 🤣 Must warn you though that giving your name, information and trust to the Siri/Alexa Overlords is the first step to inviting a future visit from the Reapers so be very, very careful! 🤪
Sooo ... the Broker himself was actually easy to take down if it weren't for his shield and armor repair apparatus. He has as much health ass a typical krogan. But Tela Vasir was an actually tough opponent to bring down. One wonders why she couldn't have ASSUMED DIRECT CONTROL of the broker's organization herself.
Garrus (or whoever you bring) gets taken out by the Broker at the beginning of the fight, no way to avoid it. READ the DOSSIERS. you can read em one at a time. Massacre is not massage go back and invite Liara to the Normandy at some point none of that sentence made sense

Liara walked a long way from being a young naive archaeologist) still, there were some small assumptions from her side here which bother me a bit. She cannot know for sure that everybody who seen shadow broker is dead, also she made a big leap of faith when supposed that her voice will sound the same in communication. And the thing about sixty years was too specific - where it came from? This does not mean I don’t like this dlc, it is great, one of the best in the whole trilogy. Just some small remarks.
u should check the video of Aethyta again and look at the picture a bit more closely. oh and in the Sur´kesh mission in ME3 i recommend taking Liara and Garrus, some pretty funny scenes with those 2 in the mission.

PLEASE Basic - talk to *everyone* on your ship after every mission. I would hate to see you miss out on so many more conversations with your squadmates. Also, read *everything* you can on the Shadow Broker's base! You skipped huge pieces of information this go around. Luckily, they're still available (I think... ?) I have never seen what you’re after happen for someone on a blind playthrough. My default position would be to never backseat new players besides whatever help they specifically ask for (actually, I personally never give players suggestions at all because the whole point is that I want to watch them make their own choices… otherwise I could just go play the game myself), but giving a suggestion to help someone avoid a potentially negative outcome (which is what seems to have happened here from her editor regarding the IFF) is way different than giving a suggestion to achieve a niche outcome that you just happen to think is cool to see or whatever.
