Tip. Hand feed pellets instead of feeding in a bowl to build a bond faster with your bunny, or else use the pellets for foraging instead of feeding in a bowl.
@@singingduck31813 You could try feeding you bunny like a very long leafy greens and over time work your way up to shorter and shorter leaves The first 3 days i had my bunny he was biting A LOT but then after a few days he just stopped biting and now he rarely bites,
I know everyone suggests unlimited pellets for young bunnies…. But I swear my bunny would have only eaten pellets, and no hay, so I had to start limiting her just a bit so she would eat more hay 😌
My bunny is 8 weeks old and his vet just told me to feed him only a half of 1/4 cup with pellets. He eats him all in less than 5 mins and he always seems to want more. I know when he gets older he'll be able to eat more :-) He loves his pellets!
Pellets:versele-laga, complete cuni adult🙂 bamboo, meadow and in small pieces:carrot, pearl, apple, alfalfa, berries...... best treat is scratching. if your rabbit likes 🐇🙌
Morgan has helped me the whole way of having my buns! In the first couple of weeks when I had my buns they were like only 9 weeks old and my mum and I fed them carrots and lettuce like every day without knowing I was doing something wrong! But when I started watching Morgan, I realised I was doing so much wrong! Thank you Morgan!
My bun's favorite treat is home dried apples! Slice them thin and cut them into smaller pieces, keep them in a jar to stay fresh. He knows when I open the jar it's treat time!
Heyyy!! Its me againnn!!!! I think by now you would have remembered me! (hahhahaha) Again amazing video! I love it! I have been dying to let my bunnies try new treats and this is the PERFECT video! Unfortunately, its the last video in the Bunny Diet Series! I definitely enjoyed watching this Series and learnt soooooo many new things I am going to keep this comment short as the last time my comment was rather long! You are amazing keep going and never stop! You are a great contribution to the bun community and I would never ever regret subscribing to you! Baiiii! lots of love! 💗
I'm glad you are trying to educate yourself first before getting a bunny. that will be really helpful to you, trust me. you will be able to figure out id it's actually possible for you to take good care of them. anyway, if you'll get one, hope you'll have a good time with your bunny
I think it's pretty common (at least in my country) to feed rabbits old, dry bread, my parents give it to the rabbits that they keep to be eaten and it was applied to my sister's cuddle rabbit as well, unfortunately. So thank you for telling us that it should be avoided, I never would have thought to look it up and I had no idea how damaging it is for their digestive system.
Awww! I love your new-ish intro and this was so perfect! I just got my new bunny (button 🥰) and I was looking for treats to feed her! Thankyou so much!
Hi , U have helped me SOO MUCH because I,am getting 2 rabbits and i knew nothing about them before, now i know your channel and I keep on watching your videos with my brother. Question- Cinnabun is SOOO cute , Which breed is He/she.
hi! i love your videos! i would just like to ask for some help. I recently got two bunnies, a mom and her baby. they live together, but they obviously have different nutritional needs. any tips on how to separate their hay, food, and treats? i don’t want the mom to steal all the babies alfalfa hay, and i don’t want to the baby to eat only timothy hay. i also don’t want the mom to eat all of her baby’s pellets. any tips?
I had a problem like that my baby rabbit was living with my adult so I separated them for like an hour and fed the adult his veggies and pellets and feed the baby some pellets and alfalfa hay
Oo can you make a video about exercising your bunny or like how to take a bunny outside properly to let them get some fresh air? I'm thinking of getting a bun in the future and am doing more research on some good habits for my future bunny!
Morgan: Whats the biggest part of their diet? Me: -says hay about 7 seconds before she says- Morgan: thats right it's hay! :)) (I don't know what this comment is hahah)
Hello!!! I know I'm a bit late, but is the burgess excel pellets safe for rabbits? I was doing some research about it since a few of my local pet stores sell it and it has good reviews. I don't think its timothy based but can I still use it? Just wondering thanks!
I have a question. I have a baby bun, so I feed him the young rabbit food by the oxbow guarding select line, which is what you feed your bunny but you feed the adult one. in the baby version the protein and calcium are both over what you said they should be?. so should I switch my baby bunny to the adult one or is it OK for now ??
With rabbits pellet you should also get soy free pellets as soy is hard for rabbits to digest and makes there wee smelly when I switch to soy free the smell wasn’t smell couldn’t smell it on clean litter box days and also one of my rabbits is under weight he’s 10 month but my vet is busy and can’t get an appointment for three weeks so does any one have any tips I have been giving him more pellets and oats but what else
So A quick question. From that same brand I have veggie sticks. My lion head rabbit loves them and he ways 4 pounds so I give him 2 every couple days. Are those okay too?
Hello Morgan I absolutely love your videos and I have been asking my parents for a bunny . They keep saying no so I was wondering if you can do a video on how to convince your parents to get you a bunny . Don’t worry I know the responsibilities of having a bunny , we can afford a bunny but they keep saying no . Please I would really love that !
The meadow loops from Science Selective contain alfalfa hay. Do you think they are good for adult/senior rabbits? I have just bought some loops from Science Selective (the orchard ones). They do not contain orchard grass but alfalfa hay. I was disappointed..
@@xoAnim3xo the other loops from Science Selective contain that too 😔 I only gave my rabbit 2 loops, but I won’t give them anymore. The treats I make for him (hay+banana+pellets) are much better for him ☺️
Hi! So my bunny is coming tomorrow and I really need help, can I use any brush to comb my bunny and if not what brush could I get to comb my bunny that isn’t so expensive? I also wanted to know if you use timothy pellets when they are older And alfalfa pellets when they are babies sorry I didn’t watch the whole thing but can you feed a baby bunny hay or veggies ?
I recommend the hairbuster brush, specially for rabbits, it's a bit expensive but it's so worth it! Hope this helps a bit :D btw rabbits shed around we every 3 months too
How did y’all like the bunny diet series?

PSA: be so so so careful with celery as it can literally tie up a rabbits stomach from being to stringy!!
My rabbits get 6 types of greens a day, with like 6-8 pellets each. So barely pellets, lots of hay and lots of greens and they’re healthy as ever!
Tips: If you dont eat banana peels, you can actually feed the banana peels to your bunny, do all kinds of treats with it.
