The problem is that Maybelline doesn't have a large selection in shades and undertones:/
EchoNova There's a alternative: la girl pro concealer. They came out with a white concealer. So you can use it by itself (when you are fair enough) or you can lighten any concealer with it, so it matches your skin tone
EchoNova Maybe try the Instant Age Rewind from Maybelline. It's also a good concealer but the color range is very limited:/
EchoNova I know the struggle of not finding your foundation/concealer shade😪 anyway maybe true match's lightest concealer in the "warm" range would work for you.

I agree. The Nars one creased all the same and wore off visibly, too. 35 vs 8? I'd go with the cheaper option. I thought Nars, being what it is, would have been a landslide victory. I'll stick with the "dupe".
i have both, and the nars is SOOO much better! the maybelline needs 293827282 coats to have a medium coverage, but the nars didn't crease and was easily full coverage.

Hmm I thought the Maybelline looked best! Going to try this, not to dupe NARS but actually trying to dupe MAC Mineralized concealer. Hope they have a light shade!
People.are.talking about which covers better, which lasts longer. What I want to know is... which is more skin friendly.. like ingredient friendly. And nars is cruelty free.
Over a year later ...I love the Maybelline FIT ME concealer! I've never owned the NARS concealer due to such positive comparison reviews with the consistent result of the FIT ME being the best in quality & value for the price point. I use my RT sponge, absolutely seamless & natural. Bad days I apply IT Cosmetics ByeBye Undereye Concealer along the inner eye area, then the FIT ME, if I want a tad more brightening, I lightly blend in Maybelline' Rewind Concealer & Brightener with the sponge. Then powder set. Thank you for confirming the quality enduring in the FIT ME. ox Care
I prefer maybelline, I have it in 20 Sand, which is a warmer more yellow-toned color..I actually think it'd work better with your skin than medium, since it's not as pink. I use it alone or set it with elfs yellow translucent powder and it looks sooo good!

A lot of people say these are dupes but having tried them both in person, the Nars gives way better coverage if you have dark circles to cover. The Fit Me is much more sheer. They both look nice on you in the vid, but I would say if you have dark circles go for the Nars. If you have lighter dark circles or less to cover, try the Fit Me.
Omg thank you. I just spent like $150 in makeup and bought this because I'm out of concealer and wanted a really good one for my under eyes. And I also bought the Anastasia cream contour kit and looked up a review on it and the girl didn't like this. And then I started reading the comments on this and I was just like crap 😂😂😂

Excellent, excellent detailed review and demo of products!!! If only everybody made reviews your way!! So much easier to make a decision with a real world demo than just by swatching on the hand that doesn't match the face and where the product lays down in a non realistic fashion than on the undereye, lid or cheek! Thank you so much! Now I feel totally confident to use the Nars. Though I have a little question. Do they both dry on the skin so it doesn't move and then doesn't shift over time? Because I usually like to also put my foundation over it sometimes. Thanks so much TrinaDuhra!
So glad you enjoyed the review! :) Truthfully they both move a bit. I would say the maybelline more so than the nars. So I do have to set both fairly well afterwards

I think it would be great if she had came back to update us at the end of the day to let us know which one wore better.
I don't think the NARS lasted any longer. It's just that you started with more initial coverage with the NARS concealer. It only makes sense that if they both wear at the same rate that you'll end up with marginally more coverage with the one that covered better initially.
I own both and overall I prefer nars. For the maybelline even though it had more product I constantly needed more product due to less coverage. The nars requires less product and overall does a better job, but maybelline is an excellent alternative
I like the Nars side better on you, I just purchased these concealer yesterday so how I love it as much as you.
I think they wouldn't have creased as much if you would have applied then a little lower and blended up lightly.

I got the maybelline fit me concealer in sand last night and tested it out. I really like it. I wanted a more natural concealer and it concealed under my eyes well. I set it with powder and it looked pretty nice most of the day. Great review! Your eye shadow and winged liner Slay!
TBH the Maybeline was lighter under your eye . almost gave a grey ish look you shoulda corrected the Nars was closer to your complexion which is why the coverage looked better .

My main issue with the Maybelline one is that they don`t even make one light enough for me to get a good under eye highlight. I also find it wears off on my pretty easily and my dark circles show through pretty quickly. I always felt it was overrated yet it`s one of the few drugstore concealer I do like. Dying to try the NARS one though.
Try Cargo jet lag concealer.so brightening and natural no makeup look.never creases! looks awesome and price is just little higher than Maybelline
Same :c I do like the Fit Me concealer but because the lightest shade is too pink toned for me so I prefer the Nars due to the shade range.

I am currently wearing just the maybelline concealer under my eyes and also using it to cover a few acne blemishes and I have gotten so many compliments today on how nice my skin looks lol :) I agree that the maybelline is good to go for the natural skin look. I have yet to try the nars but the nars is probably good if you want to look more glam and flawless. So in the end both concealers are nice and it just depends what kind of look you want to go for.

looks the exact same to me when you first applied... but I have the Nars concealer and I love it!
That maybelline concealer used to be my go to when i only wore drugstore makeup. When i stepped up my makeup game and started purchasing more from sephora i stopped using it. Maybe ill have to give it a try again. I actually have the nars concealer as well and wasnt overly crazy about it.

I've tried both and fit me is so much better and not just because of price. For the coverage thing it's really buildable if your bags/problem areas are darker than usual one day
And IMO the fit me has way less coverage but with a bit of fix + you can layer the fit me (bc it makes me dry) over the NARS for highlight.

The drugstore one has the peachy undertone that gives you more brightening.

Just found your channel and I'm subscribing!! First video I've seen and it's awesome :) The NARS radiant creamy concealer is my all time favorite concealed it is truly the best 😍❤️ NARS is my all time favorite brand :)
She said that the Nars had better coverage in the end but from how I see it her under eye dark circles were more apparent on the Nars side? On the Fit Me side it was just past the inner corner that was dark, but with the Nars nearly extended to the edge of her iris.

I have not tried the Nars one...but the fit me of maybelline ugg i hated it...I was expecting a good coverage and it just not cover nothing... it also creases.

I have both and I love them. When I go out at night I use the Nars in the day for a more natural look I use the Maybelline.

I think people should have in mind that the Nars is like $25 american dollars (or a little less I don't know exactly), so it is formulated with more expensive ingredients that may give the extra coverage and lasting power but come on, for $7 you get something that could probably retail for $18 or $20 for what it does, even if it dosen't have the exact properties I prefer the Mayeblline one :)

This was helpful because I JUST purchased the nars one lol and I was having second thoughts after watching lustrluxs similar video but she doesn't have dark under eyes so for her under eyes Maybelline makes more sense but for us with dark circles the coverage is needed from nars. I think the pink tone of the maybelline one goes better with your dark circles. I actually liked how it looked better than the nars one! lol perhaps the lighting. anywho, Thank you for your video and your advice!!!

They are both so similar on you! The Nars side did look a little less skin like, which I prefer for a full faced makeup application! I have both, and I keep the Nars concealer for special occasions or full face days! My Maybelline one is for everyday mom makeup haha!
J Buck I think that's my plan too. I definitely like the full coverage aspect with nars for occasions or days where I really need that extra help but maybelline is great for every day!

I have both, but i used them in different ways. The NARS one i use for correcting dark spots, and the Maybelline one I use for my under eye. I find NARS way too thick and it creases like crazy around my eyes, but the fit me concealer blends like a dream and does not crease at all (after setting it with powder). Overall, I love them both!

Great review!I think Fit me is warmer than NARS (or probably the light). From my view I think NARS lightened your under-eye area so it may match the fair skin tone or people want a light skin. Fit me medium may enjoy it's popularity in Asian or male market.

I have used several drugstore concealers and it always frustrates me because it doesnt conceal my undereye circles. I even bought a color corrector and it doesnt work on me. The lipstick kinda works but the drugstore concelear fades quickly and makes my undereye pink. I almost lost my faith to any concealers. I was going to a wedding and I decided to buy NARS and it definietly worked. I still have to use lipstick to color correct but this time it definitely worked and concealed for long hours. I still wish there is a cheaper concealer that works for me but in my case NARS is my only HG

I own both and i personally would not repurchase the maybelline one only bc my under eye circles are quite dark. I wouldn’t call them dupes at all bc the maybelline one is a lot more watery and fades after a few hours of wear. Btw nars custard is maybelline’s sand.

Maybelline might work if your a darker skin tone, but I'm super pale and their lightest shade is too dark for me. The light shades are also super orange. I use Nars radiant concealer in Chantilly. It's the lightest concealer I've found, great coverage and not one hint of orange.

i have tried both of them and for my acne prone skin the nars one works way better. i tried the maybelline one but it just looked cakey and made me break out more. so if you have acne prone skin go nars!
