I realized after creating 3 forms.. and the third one refused to load properly.. I found in the comments that this form expires. I would have liked to know that before but I'm grateful I caught it before I encouraged my customers to use it. Thanks

I did not realize this costs money. I set everything up and had people using it. I went to change some stuff a week later and the form was gone with a message saying my trial was up. I didn’t even know I started a trial. I wonder what the users must have thought seeing that message after I gave them the form link. Looks like I will just figure out how to code a form myself. Please be sure to make it clear that this is a trial product in your videos.
Not sure if you're still checking this post, but I'm having trouble getting uploaded files to save anywhere. I tried saving it to the default folder, then tried directing it to a specific folder. Nothing happens. The files are nowhere to be found. Also, every once in a while, after hitting submit, a blank browser page shows up but nothing happens--no confirmation, no error message. Then I have to refresh the browser and submit again. I only know to do this because I have access to the spreadsheet that tells me nothing came in. A normal user wouldn't know to do that and would assume it went through. Any insights into either of my issues? Thank you so much.

why is the form URL different that the URL in the script? I have tried it many times, restart my PC, run it with incognito mode, and it is still the same. I can't get other people to access the form, it always says 'unable to open file, address incorrect etc'. I have tried to re-deploy the script again, but it is the same. I watch the tutorial many times, repeating it step by step. What am I missing?
This form is glitchy. I removed the original questions. When I added 3 new questions, the script will work. When I start adding new questions without changing the text, the form will load. If I change the text in the question type, the form will not load and I get an error in the script message.
Is there a way to customise a logo at top or change the basic form backgrounds? I also need to have internal users logged with their email without them having to manually enter them. Also, for multi-file uploads, is there a way to show separate links in the sheet cell? Lastly, can I prepopulate form fields from a column in another sheet? Amit! Great job on this! Thank you.

A question for you - is it possible to take a form that has already been created and copy. At 5'55", when I clicked on "File Upload Forms --> Edit Form..", Form Designer did not pop up. Instead, I got this error message, "SyntaxError: Unexpected strict mode reserved word " Clicking on just gave me the exact same error message, "SyntaxError: Unexpected strict mode reserved word" And does nothing. (1) Any idea how to fix this? (2) Do your form and spreadsheet created this way require fees as someone pointed out here? By the way this is a great video. Very clear.

Hi. Very interesting tool, worked very well for me. Thank you! Needs a bit of work on the validation on three levels: a) in my form with many short-responses, the first one always loses the "validation" box, for some reason. I've replaced it, duplicated, created from scratch and to no avail. I'm guessing it's a coding bug. b) would be amazing if validation toons could be added in a friendly-user way on the editing side, such as you find in Google Forms (I know this is asking for a lot, just throwing it out there). c) validation as seen by the people filling the form should be dynamic (we currently have one error message that fits the entire form). Users don't see, for example, the character count for their reply, or that they are using a special character when they shoudn't - they just know something is wrong. Again, I know this is asking for a lot. :) Thanks again for sharing!

When I first created my form it created the individual folders for the file uploads. I had to make some edits to the form and now they do not connect? What do I need to do ?
Since the user doesn't need to be authenticated I have a query related to file storage since the folder structure is based on email id. Everything works fine. But I can't get the exact link to the file that was uploaded to google drive. The hyperlink only directs me to the folder where the file was uploaded. I need some help. I completed the form several weeks ago and the main link showcased in the configuration panel does not work. If i go back to the publishing panel I can publish again and get a different code that worked. It worked about 2 weeks and now it goes to a screen stating "Sorry, unable to open the file at this time". The actual form in Google Sheets has a license activation option. Unfortunately there seems to be a file size limit. I was hoping this would be a solution to have clients send me large files. I'm not sure what the limit is, but I had someone try to upload a 187gb zip file, and it was immediately rejected by the server.

I couldn't find script editor in Tools, but I did find Apps Script in the Extensions menu. It opens up Apps Script in Form Studio.

If I'm not wrong it is only paid if you send your form for validation, as it requires you to use google cloud, which is a paid service.
