I don't have a cat. Have never had a cat. But I'm glad the RUclips algorithm brought me here. I will favorite this and send to all my cat owning friends. 🐈 ❤

Thank you for the kind words. It honestly means a lot, we’re still both really new to this and getting positive feedback really helps to know we’re doing something right. I hope your friends find it useful. Fingers crossed, it won’t be long before you have a cat as well, ha!

I definitely think I need to be more proactive for my two girls, they are so particular. Especially my calico, she will rarely initiate fetch, but otherwise not play much. Seems nominally interested in wands, but only as long as she can stay in one place.
Our other cat on the other hand will try anything once it seems. They both love the laser pointer, but the second is so polite. If she sees any other cat playing with the pointer, she will sit and wait for them to be done until it's her turn. She's so precious

Your calico sounds very cute and very much like our Cookie! Lots of work to get her to play. Keep trying a few different toys, maybe there’s something. I know cookie went wild for this little red crazy bug thing, we uploaded the review as a short, be aware though, it’s quite loud… lol
Awe that’s so cute they sound almost British. Forming a line to play once the other is done lol 😂 The Catit puzzle feeder we reviewed seemed to quite nicely support multiple cats at the same time, although it’s a different category of toy. 😅
Thank you for taking the time to watch our videos and comment! 😍 A & K

Awe, I'm so sorry for your loss, it's an incredibly difficult thing to come to terms with. We lost Bear (the fluffy maine coon completing the puzzle feeder in the video) in April last year. I'm looking forward to one day hearing about you welcoming a new family member to your home. Whilst new cats won't replace the ones that came before them, kittens are amazing at bringing light to incredibly dark places.

Great video! I already knew about toy rotation, but you presented it in such a way that it got me thinking about things a little differently. Your suggestion of categorizing toys is great. I have 5 savannah cats, and I've been looking to spice up their activity level. I've got a lot more ideas thanks to you :)

5(!!!) Savannah cats?! Damn, that’s so cool, we’d love to one day meet / own one, they’re incredibly unique. Awe, thank you so much for your feedback. Reading comments like this makes a massive difference(!), we’re both very new to RUclips and your comments gives us the energy / hope that we’re doing / going in the right direction.
Let us know if you do buy / get a new toy for your savannahs. Our Maine coons destroy toys quickly, I can’t imagine what your 5 could do to toys like the Catit groovy fish we reviewed! Keen to find out tho haha!

@@Pepperprojectz Most of mine are on the tamer side (unless they get ahold of feathers), but I used to have an F1. He is a beast when toys get involved. Not much survives him.
The best toy according to my cats, (other than the feathers on a wand, which they go bonkers for), is honestly the little plastic springs. I think you said you bought a bag of 100? I need to do that haha
I haven't watched your review for the Catit groovy fish yet, but I will! I have a toy that is very similar and they love it, but it has some downsides. I'll have to compare it to the Catit.
Do your cats like water? Mine really like a little fish toy that has a hard plastic body and a silicone tail. It is water activated. You drop it in a bowl of water and it swims like a fish! My cats love batting at it and pulling it out by the tail. That could be a fun one to review!
Good luck with the project! When you popped up in my feed, I exclaimed to my fiancé that I thought it was weird that RUclips was recommending a channel to me that had such a small subscriber count, and how it's cool that smaller channels can still get exposure. We watched a couple of your videos together and he said "This must be a reupload of their older content, right?" He thought your videos were too well put together to be just starting out. :) We especially liked this one. Hope that helps ^^

Haha tamer sounds good when they’re that big especially for a H1 lol! Feathers and cats are a crazy combo. But those springs. It’s crazy how even with something like a savannah it appeals to them just as much! In all honesty we only got 100 because they just ended up being lost under our sofa and being lazy, I couldn’t be bothered to fish them out every other day!
Ooo good idea. We JUST bought a GoPro to try and get an inside view from within toys but it should also work with water ones. When they were kittens we experimented a bit but even tho they liked it we ended up not doing more (water toys). We’ll have to change that!
Thank you again. It’s really appreciated. We were worried at the start we’d get 0 views, still got a lot to learn but small improvements each time lol 😂 I hope we continue to make interesting fun content for you both. A & K

they are smart. and when left alone toys are still . they re dead already

Yeah exactly, there’s nothing to chase or torment. There are a few of battery operated toys that TRY to fill this gap but honestly they’re too obvious / don’t have the unexpected movement cats would experience from prey. 🫠 A & K
