Same here. And I am allergic to cats. But I was found by a stray too. Just he was already almost grown up and he will probably never that... 'house catty'. But I am happy as long as he is not sick, did not get bitten again by other cats in fight and as long he is eating properly. I will probably never be able to have him on my lap or something. But... he has his house where he feels safe outside my door and he comes in several times a day to feed. Sometimes comes in and just allows me to pet him... I think he is happy. So I guess that is the most important. He has found his safe harbour on my terrace and regular food. Medicine if sick. Maybe when is gets old he might want to stay inside more.
@@sib5464I think it’s wonderful that you respect his boundaries & enjoy the affection he gives you, as well as the ways he shows his love for you even though he’s not a “cuddly house” cat.😻❤️ Cats have a way of knowing who will love them for who they are, when given the opportunity to choose a person, like your little guy. His personality certainly will change as he gets older and especially if he’s neutered (hopefully there’s programs to help with that if necessary). I’d bet someday he will be a cuddly house cat.☺️❤️ Thank you for saving him , caring for him & loving him! I find it extremely funny when a person says they aren’t a cat person. Often times cats will gravitate towards that person & prove them wrong. Soon the cat is showing the person affection in some way and the person suddenly loves cats. Cats enjoy being right, lol. 😸
@@kimmieh8419 yup we ended up with a woodpile kitten that grew up to lead odd animals to us at times and brought us a calico that had 5 kittens (we kept 4) and now we are getting them fixed soon and loving them. altho it keeps giving me gingers.....we have the elderly ginger an dnow a set o ftwin gingers from the calico. she is gone but they live on

My husband was a 250 pound biker. His love for the cats and bird(african grey) was ridiculous. He would be on a trip and facetime me, ask me what I was doing then ask if the bird was nearby. Then proceeded to facetime with the bird. I had to get one of the cats put to sleep when she was old because he couldn't. She was "his" cat.
When they started talking about Lilly i thought she came back in the cat❤. Because Matt started playing with all Lilly's toys and he came not too long after her death.

I have noticed sometimes the most manly men have tiny dogs, they don't need a big mean dog to complete their masculinity as it is already complete, same here with the kitten.
My baby Tiggy was so small he wasn't even pooping or peeing by himself yet, but I heard crying, opened my back door, and he ran as fast as he could inside that he ran right into my foot. His nose was bloody and he was filthy so I immediately gave him a wash and had to give him milk that night until I could go get him kitten milk. He was my little Prince and think of him all the time. I miss him, but I'm so happy he ran himself, on his tiny wobbley little legs, into our lives.
We have a Mochi also, my son found him in the drive thru where he works he was so young his ears weren't even open yet. We had to nurse him with a little bottle and he grew up to be a lion. Lol
When a kitty picks you to nap on, cuddles up and that little purr box goes to town, there’s just something special about it. You feel bad when you have to move.
Sometimes the best way to heal from the loss of a pet is to find a new one to love! You never forget the first one, and you’re not replacing them. You’re just continuing to share all the love you have!

Haha nothing like that 😁 I found an adult cat 5 years ago and now he sometimes generously allows himself to be petted. About once a day 😁 I periodically remind him that I found him on the street, I saved him that he should be grateful to me and allow himself to be petted at least twice a day but he is unwavering 🙈
Sometimes I wonder if little Matt the kitten is really Lilly the little dog. You know Lilly comes back as Matt. Kitten really like lilly's toys . Matt seems to take right to the guy who found her cuddled right up to him sleeping on his shoulder. It just makes me think about your pets always being around you after they pass on.

I luv cats and dogs too. But some people don't like cats or any animal probably. So you can't assume because it's cute and cuddly that it's safe. There are some mean, hateful people in the world. I have heard and seen horrible things done to animals. Bless this gentleman 😊❤.
I have two cats, my mother in law always said she didn’t like cats (my bf even told me she has NEVER liked them at all). However, she seems to have fallen in love with my orange boy 😂😂 whenever she visit she doesn’t stop looking at him and following him to see what he does haha. They truly get you to love them with their cuteness and innocence.

Their poop makes you sick and attracts rats unless already have rats and need a cat that walks in and outdoors or have enough money to be in a place where rats don't go with enough room for a place for cat litter not near people

Lilly sent that kitten to watch over her father as her body was to tired. I fully believe in this crap. I lost my only son ( 1 son plus 4 daughters I have no human children living ) Sparky, was my only male dog. 20 year old Boston terrier that would do anything with me. Anything I tried, he tried. Be it food, sports, water activity, driving anything!!!!!!! Not long after Sparkys passing I saw a dog along the four lane just like him, appeared homeless but couldn't be caught or touched. I wasn't from there, so I returned home. End of last fall, tiny young black dog showed up in a field next to my momma's house. 1,2,3,4 days go by trying to earn her trust. No luck. I put out a live trap full of food. 5 minutes the door slammed, Afraid of the world she was caught and safe. Moving 7 months forward. She answers to Princess Zaela and we don't no her story but she so loves the tale I half made up, other half I took from the movie. Princess Caraboo, yes I tell her she is from Javasu, yes I tell her she was abducted by pirates. Then jumped ship to swim a shore, then be taken in by a wealthy lady whom lived in a castle 🏰 ( which I am not ) and dressed in the finest cloth and drank from the finest China. If Love is Wealth, this farm for rescues is my Bank!!!!!!! Thank you to Lily and Sparky for making sure one cat daddi and one dog mom-mom feels 💕 the love. We miss you kiddo- love all your siblings but mom-mom the MOST🩵
I had a dog for 15 years. When Oreo died I felt my heart break 💔. I have not been able to have another pet. I still miss him. He was my guardian, so understanding of my illness, a very special companion and friend. I am happy for those who are able to care for another pet with so much love. 😍😍😍🙏🏾🦋
Reminds me so much of my husband .A stray cat had her kittens in our shed .The mom disappeared after few weeks .My husband fought tooth and nail to nature these lil fur balls .We kept one .She was the smallest and ill .He called her Weazy…she follows him all over and cuddles up on his shoulder .It’s funny seeing this 260 lb ,six foot one man being so gentle and loving to a lil tiny kitty .Hes a great father too so it’s his nature .

He was only 2y.o. 😢 A few weeks later our neighbour moved out. But his cat Mimi moved in at our house a while BEFORE HE moved away. She decided to stay with us and chose us as her new family. The neighbour seid he didn't care!! 😮😮💨 First I wasn't thrilled but I couldn't throw Mimi out either because I liked her. She is such a wonderful Calico cat. It was just because I wasn't over Mačak's loss yet. The longer we are together I realize again and again that she and our little Mačak have a lot in Common! and: Sometimes I hear myself saying that Mimi must be the Reinkarnation of Mačak. One thing I can tell you from owning pets all my life is that when you find a pet, even if it’s after losing one, it’s always meant to be, and you will be amazed when you realize just how much they fit into your life. Nobody can ever replace a pet that you lost, but a new pet needing a human as desperate as some do out there in the wild there’s no greater feeling in the world they’re yours and their loyalty will always run deep…
Well said 👏🏼 I got a mini dachshund for my 18th bday. My first love and bf had a house full of wiener dogs because his mom & sister bred them. Anyways, I had a couple cats at the time but a few years later, I bought her for $400 (half price) and she became like my child. I took her everywhere with me, and I planned so much of my life around my Lucy girl. Whenever the thought of losing her crept in my mind, I’d get so scared and emotional. Anyways, many years passed and she eventually passed away and I was in shock and then a deep depression hit me. I knew I had been so lucky to have been blessed to have her with me for 16 long years. Hell she almost reached the age I was when I got her. I never thought she’d love that long, so I was grateful to have had that, but I just felt so lonely after having a buddy by my side after all that time and then now, I’m not just without my long term bf but now I lost my bear friend who made it so I could get thru that breakup of that long term relationship. She had been with me through so much considering I’ve had her for almost half my life.
Some friends talked me into getting another sooner than I expected so I got another little doxie and she’s named Tana. She’s the same kind of dog as Lucy, but other than that, they have really nothing in common. I still miss her, but Tana’s helped me a lot. Because of her, I started to smile and laugh again. And she’s helping to change the whole vibe in the house 🏠🐶❤️
We just lost our sons cat she was 19 years old, yours being 16 you understand the feeling of grief we are experiencing. it’s only been about a month or so maybe two and I still hurt every day and miss her. We lost several pets over the last three years all over the age of 13, and, the hole they leave in your soul is just indescribable. we have two cats left and needless to say are spoiled beyond belief. I said I would never get another pet again, but I really can’t see my life without a pet as they add so much joy and such unconditional love to each and every day. New pets can be very healing after loss, whether a pet, or human loss, as it gives the heart somewhere to put the love from the loss and helps heal the heart in my experience and what I’ve witnessed. A specific human or animal bond can’t be replaced, but new love and life can be very comforting. Love seeing this but strong guy and the tiny kitten. I’m a great believer in kismet, clearly this little kitty was in the right place at the right time….. ❤
After I lost my dog to cancer I was gifted this tiny little furball kitty from my brother, who found him homeless on a corner near a hotel in South Carolina a few years ago... he drove him up to CT to be with us because we have a big house and room for him to play, now he is a member of the family and we spoil him rotten with the best food, toys, and blankets❤ it certainly healed the grief from the loss of my dog
Not my dog 💀. My old dog was my life, she was my everything and I was her favorite person. My step dad didn’t want another dog but we found one and brought her home. A year later she is my dog but loves everyone especially my stepdad more than me. Then the cat distribution center made its way and we took in a stray cat who loved me and only me just for her to love my sister more and was eh about me. 🥲
This reminded me of a fun memory I have with my dad. I brought home a sick kitten that I had found at the homeless shelter, i was at a chruch event to help feed the homeless, but anyway I brought this kitten home and cared for him took him to the vet and he’s now maybe 2 years old, well the other day I found my dad holding him like a baby all swaddled up in a blanket, my dad normally complains about the cat.

After I lost my soul mate dog Chloe, I couldn’t imagine getting another anytime soon. But then a tiny black cat started straight up coming into the house and decided she was gonna live there. I always think she was a gift sent from Chloe.

I have two cats, my mother in law always said she didn’t like cats (my bf even told me she has NEVER liked them at all). However, she seems to have fallen in love with my orange boy 😂😂 whenever she visit she doesn’t stop looking at him and following him to see what he does haha. They truly get you to love them with their cuteness and innocence.

Lilly sent that kitten to watch over her father as her body was to tired. I fully believe in this crap. I lost my only son ( 1 son plus 4 daughters I have no human children living ) Sparky, was my only male dog. 20 year old Boston terrier that would do anything with me. Anything I tried, he tried. Be it food, sports, water activity, driving anything!!!!!!!
Not long after Sparkys passing I saw a dog along the four lane just like him, appeared homeless but couldn't be caught or touched. I wasn't from there, so I returned home. End of last fall, tiny young black dog showed up in a field next to my momma's house. 1,2,3,4 days go by trying to earn her trust. No luck. I put out a live trap full of food. 5 minutes the door slammed, Afraid of the world she was caught and safe. Moving 7 months forward. She answers to Princess Zaela and we don't no her story but she so loves the tale I half made up, other half I took from the movie. Princess Caraboo, yes I tell her she is from Javasu, yes I tell her she was abducted by pirates. Then jumped ship to swim a shore, then be taken in by a wealthy lady whom lived in a castle 🏰 ( which I am not ) and dressed in the finest cloth and drank from the finest China. If Love is Wealth, this farm for rescues is my Bank!!!!!!! Thank you to Lily and Sparky for making sure one cat daddi and one dog mom-mom feels 💕 the love.

Reminds me so much of my husband .A stray cat had her kittens in our shed .The mom disappeared after few weeks .My husband fought tooth and nail to nature these lil fur balls .We kept one .She was the smallest and ill .He called her Weazy…she follows him all over and cuddles up on his shoulder .It’s funny seeing this 260 lb ,six foot one man being so gentle and loving to a lil tiny kitty .Hes a great father too so it’s his nature .

My little boy Mačak passed away in February because of sickness. He was only 2y.o. 😢
A few weeks later our neighbour
moved out. But his cat Mimi moved in at our house a while BEFORE HE moved away.
She decided to stay with us and chose us as her new family.
The neighbour seid he didn't care!! 😮😮💨
First I wasn't thrilled but I couldn't throw Mimi out either because I liked her. She is such a wonderful Calico cat.
It was just because I wasn't over Mačak's loss yet.
The longer we are together I realize again and again that
she and our little Mačak have a lot in Common! and: Sometimes I hear myself saying that Mimi must be the Reinkarnation of Mačak. Today I am (almost) sure she is!
I love her so much and hope we can spend many many years together

One thing I can tell you from owning pets all my life is that when you find a pet, even if it’s after losing one, it’s always meant to be, and you will be amazed when you realize just how much they fit into your life. Nobody can ever replace a pet that you lost, but a new pet needing a human as desperate as some do out there in the wild there’s no greater feeling in the world they’re yours and their loyalty will always run deep…

Well said 👏🏼 I got a mini dachshund for my 18th bday. My first love and bf had a house full of wiener dogs because his mom & sister bred them. Anyways, I had a couple cats at the time but a few years later, I bought her for $400 (half price) and she became like my child. I took her everywhere with me, and I planned so much of my life around my Lucy girl. Whenever the thought of losing her crept in my mind, I’d get so scared and emotional. Anyways, many years passed and she eventually passed away and I was in shock and then a deep depression hit me. I knew I had been so lucky to have been blessed to have her with me for 16 long years. Hell she almost reached the age I was when I got her. I never thought she’d love that long, so I was grateful to have had that, but I just felt so lonely after having a buddy by my side after all that time and then now, I’m not just without my long term bf but now I lost my bear friend who made it so I could get thru that breakup of that long term relationship. She had been with me through so much considering I’ve had her for almost half my life.

Some friends talked me into getting another sooner than I expected so I got another little doxie and she’s named Tana. She’s the same kind of dog as Lucy, but other than that, they have really nothing in common. I still miss her, but Tana’s helped me a lot. Because of her, I started to smile and laugh again. And she’s helping to change the whole vibe in the house 🏠🐶❤️
We just lost our sons cat she was 19 years old, yours being 16 you understand the feeling of grief we are experiencing. it’s only been about a month or so maybe two and I still hurt every day and miss her. We lost several pets over the last three years all over the age of 13, and, the hole they leave in your soul is just indescribable. we have two cats left and needless to say are spoiled beyond belief. I said I would never get another pet again, but I really can’t see my life without a pet as they add so much joy and such unconditional love to each and every day. New pets can be very healing after loss, whether a pet, or human loss, as it gives the heart somewhere to put the love from the loss and helps heal the heart in my experience and what I’ve witnessed. A specific human or animal bond can’t be replaced, but new love and life can be very comforting. Love seeing this but strong guy and the tiny kitten. I’m a great believer in kismet, clearly this little kitty was in the right place at the right time….. ❤
After I lost my dog to cancer I was gifted this tiny little furball kitty from my brother, who found him homeless on a corner near a hotel in South Carolina a few years ago... he drove him up to CT to be with us because we have a big house and room for him to play, now he is a member of the family and we spoil him rotten with the best food, toys, and blankets❤ it certainly healed the grief from the loss of my dog
Not my dog 💀. My old dog was my life, she was my everything and I was her favorite person. My step dad didn’t want another dog but we found one and brought her home. A year later she is my dog but loves everyone especially my stepdad more than me. Then the cat distribution center made its way and we took in a stray cat who loved me and only me just for her to love my sister more and was eh about me. 🥲

This reminded me of a fun memory I have with my dad. I brought home a sick kitten that I had found at the homeless shelter, i was at a chruch event to help feed the homeless, but anyway I brought this kitten home and cared for him took him to the vet and he’s now maybe 2 years old, well the other day I found my dad holding him like a baby all swaddled up in a blanket, my dad normally complains about the cat.
