I think he tried to make a clear distinction between something like a mech and power ARMOR I think the Titans definitely fall into the former... I haven't played it much but aren't the Frames in WarFrame basically powerarmor/exosuits
I am thinking of another suit the suit from TimeShift, the suit itself can control time itself, stop reverse time is kind of powerful, can stop time to go to another position to shoot that enemy does not see you or yo can shoot with your gun in stop time 100 times and when run back time, is like the enemy are getting shot from 100 people
TimeShift was a great game. I don't know why people dissed it when it came out. Games like it and Singularity were a niche genre on their own, decent sci-fi story with great shooting mechanics. But CoD got too much traction and developers decided there was no market for linear, story-driven shooters anymore.
Weird take because you have to look at a lot of lore for it, but Destiny's Titan armor is a good idea for this list. It's armored powered by the user's Light (which is basically space magic in Destiny), which makes your punches harder, your movement faster, it powers your jump thrusters, and also provides general feedback and in some cases AI systems. It's super cool and worth looking into if you're a power armor fan.

The Chinese stealth suit from fallout 3: Operation Anchorage DLC. IMO, it's the dream suit of any player who chose a stealth-based character build. That armor, mixed with the right melee weapons, let me slice through deathclaws like butter.
The Nanosuit is basically the most OP power armor fit for humans - it "learns" and and adapts to whatever's thrown at it - so if you somehow survive, the armor will adapt to negate whatever weakness it had to what's thrown at you. Warframes, as much as I would like to add it on this list on the other hand, skirt the line between power armor or drone - you can integrate with the suit physically by being "one" with it - but it's more of a drone you can pilot more often than not.

Me :I should really get some sleep
Gameranx : NO
Same
Starcraft's dragoon armors were pretty cool also, since it put severely injured aliens back into combat inside a big mechanical spider. One on one between a dragoon and marine, that marine is toast. Of course, it might count as more of a mech.
00:02 why those falcon sound like he's screaming to me xD
Me tooo
I'm surprised the HEV Suit from Half-Life wasn't on this list.
I like the Javelins in Anthem
The javelins are legit cool as hell
@@andersoncampbell5083 Can't say much for the game but you can't deny how cool the Javelins are
The concept of Anthem itself was already pretty cool.
I just want an excuse to play it again
They are so fun too
@Nathaniel Shrock not sure if you are joking or not but just because he didnt put your beloved suit does it mean is biased? there are a lot more suits to cram into a top 10... dont forget if it was pure "power" 40k shits on any jav... would had been a better contender then javs
40k space marines: THIS IS HERESY!!!
I have some additional additions to this list. Like if you agree:
The legend of dragoon armor from legend of dragoon
The keyblade armor
Technically the armor the pilots from titanfall
The alien suit from crash bandicoot
The armor sets in Phoenix point
Jak's armor from jak 3
Ratchet and clank going commando
The suit of the arbiter
But the arbiter's suit is really crappy compare to the suit of all the other elites though. It's old and outdated.
@@dr.debsutradhar1756 the one thing against the warhammer armor is that, its not really a video game armor if you stop and think about it. yeah, 40k has games, but its not known AS a video game. besides, starcraft basically stole them anyway, so its technically in the list if you think about it...
I think he tried to make a clear distinction between something like a mech and power ARMOR I think the Titans definitely fall into the former... I haven't played it much but aren't the Frames in WarFrame basically powerarmor/exosuits
@@Topside08 pretty much.
@@Topside08 i think he meant the suit the pilot wear, not the the mech itself.
The only armor suit that has stood the test of time is Samus Metroid suit. It hasn’t changed much over decades yet still has fantastic classic lines.
I hope Horizon Zero Dawn is in here. Eloys strongest suit is so overpowered
I came here to see the same thing but nah
It depends on your difficulty level.
If you're playing on Story then yeah, OP
First armor I thought of.
You're talking about the energy style armor? Where you need to find the power cells
@@jessehopp4219 that's the one
When they don’t put any of the XCOM 2 alien ruler suits on
Cortana: That ain’t it chief
Halo 2 armour into 3 when chief fell from space
or reach when Noble 6 fell from space, or halo 4 when chief fell from space again.
If there are such as Fallout armors I really feel the lack of Warframes here :(((
Warframes aren't powered suits? They're just biomechanical robots that you pilot remotely.
I am thinking of another suit
the suit from TimeShift, the suit itself can control time itself, stop reverse time is kind of powerful, can stop time to go to another position to shoot that enemy does not see you or yo can shoot with your gun in stop time 100 times and when run back time, is like the enemy are getting shot from 100 people
TimeShift was a great game. I don't know why people dissed it when it came out. Games like it and Singularity were a niche genre on their own, decent sci-fi story with great shooting mechanics. But CoD got too much traction and developers decided there was no market for linear, story-driven shooters anymore.
Legit just thought of this as soon as the crysis suit popped up
ZA WARUDO SUIT
did we forget that Horizon has an armour set that makes u invulnerable to damage... same in FFXV
Seing a Mech really makes me want a new Armored Core.
The "Halo Armor" is definitely the most underrated suit of armor in any game.
The lowest on the list and the Slayer would still kick the shit out of the rest of them.
No space marine armor? I'm gonna need two bolters for this herecy!
thing is, 40k has games but isnt primarily a video game. so i dont think it should count, besides, its kinda in there, if you remember that the marine armor from starcraft is meant to be a carbon copy of a 40k armor...
Marcos Danilo that’s only becaus Starcraft was gonna be a 40k game
@@marcosdheleno There is a Warhammer 40000: Space Marine game. That's why it is not the Custodian armor that was mentioned (as Adeptus Custodes have much more advanced armor of course)
@@marcosdheleno this reeks of herecy
The suit from dark sector was super cool and made the last boss a giant pain!
If you like that suit you should try Warframe! If you haven't
I loved when you could morph a armoured type suit in the first Prototype🔥💯
That was seriously my fav thing about the first and the took it out for the second. Fuckin dumb. There still an armored suit but it doesn’t actually change his speed and defense like it does in the first game
The Chinese stealth suit from fallout 3: Operation Anchorage DLC. IMO, it's the dream suit of any player who chose a stealth-based character build. That armor, mixed with the right melee weapons, let me slice through deathclaws like butter.
The most powerful of them all: Plot armor
Alloy's final armor she acquires was pretty great too. That suit changes the game play entirely.
haven t seen the video yet but fallout power armor should be there or else
Lorewise, the preator suit is indestructible
0:07 caption reads: "Everybody out there loves donning a power suit in video games lettuce."
I thought Any suit from anthem would be in this
Agreed
Yeah i was expecting it on this list too
As much as I love the T series power armor from Fallout, there is no way it should have ranked as highly as it did on this list.
Power armour? Nah probably not
wait what! Yes yes yes!
The concept of the suits in anthem is pretty cool, even if the game failed :)
While not TECHNICALLY a suit...I feel like Warframes could count
All about the Nanosuit man. Its badass and I love the voice when you change modes. So dope.
"Everyone loves donning a powersuit. Videogames lettuce."
Dude the secret armor suit for aloy in horizon zero dawn, that was strong, cool and worth finding.
I was gonna mention. Literally makes her force to be reckoned with.
The iron armour in Skyrim is so strong that even the dragon can't do nothing to it in trailer....
So I’m guessing Warframes don’t count since transference and stuff. Because those are really powerful and they have super powerful abilities
Stop reading the coments while watching the video XD
no
Hii asshole
What about the power armor in Saints Row 4, it allowed you to use your superpowers in the real world, not just in the simulation.
First: The Doom suit is way better than the Halo one and some other mentions.
Note: I an not a big fan of doom but it just the fact...
Second: I came here hoping to see at least a warframe :/
The game might be questionable but the Javelin Suits from Anthem were pretty great to run around in.
Pretty sure the drachen armor in mhw is obsolete since iceborne
Isn't there a way to get a master rank version of it? Like with maybe unity ticket or something?
Ismail Omar nope only the layered from extremoth. The weapons have MR versions. But still really good since it is viable up to Barioth.
I love spectre's suit from bo3. You can turn invisible with it and you have the ripper blades which is basically hidden blade lightsabers on top
