I cant believe this song nearly broke the entire movie! It's so beautifully produced and probably my favorite Disney song ever made. If it hadn't made it in, and to find out later that it had been cut, would've been absolutely heartbreaking.
@@EricTheYounger I feel so validated by someone else noting this, because I've been trying to find out for over a year who recorded that piano track. I'm almost certain that it was Robert Lopez, because Idina Menzel has talked about how he played the piano part for Let It Go and that ended up in the final recording. I feel quite sure this would have happened again for Show Yourself, because of the absolute last-minute nature of the writing of that song. It just makes sense that for the recording used by this orchestra, that Bobby would have used his demo piano track that Idina used to record her vocals. I can't find out either, because neither Bobby nor Kristen have any current social media and I even wrote an email to Bobby's manager but no reply 😭
it’s not really that different, the final version is just mixed with other instruments like the piano, guitars and drums. This is just the recording of the orchestra, i can hear this in the final version and they’re the same 😊
The reason why it sounds different is because this is recorded on a phone And it is before the final version to put Idina Menzels voice into play And the sound is recorded from a different spot for the better cinematic experience
And the breakout song was that crappy other song that I can't even remember the name of? SMH. This was the masterpiece right here. Chills... I get Chills everytime
Wow, what pro's. I though they would be playing with the other instruments to get the timing & intensity right, but they do it all from their sheet music & the director. Especially the piano as that is such a leading instrument in this. And such a pity that the sound recording of this video is so bad. Lots of compression artifacts.
Well, actually you are the wrong one. This was just the orchestra recording, it means the piano, guitar, drums and other instruments were recorded separately and then combined together for the final cut. Play this while playing the Show Yourself, it's a match. Ps. You're an idiooooot.
The violins are not too fast. They are just going at a more staccato tempo to bring out Idina and Evan's legato notes when they layer the voices on there.
The final version had a pause in the instrumental after Elsa sings "I am found!", so they took advantage of that and took a break, so they can deliver the ending as best as they possibly can.

It's pretty impressive how sparse the orchestration really is, knowing those bars are all really filled with Idina's voice ❤️❤️❤️❤️
because she's doing the melody of the song ❤️❤️❤️
Also the piano seems to be recorded separately

I'm so glad I'm not alone in thinking THIS is the best song from Frozen 2!! The others are fine but this, this is the one 😍
1:38 The shift from show yourself to all if found is just so 😭
1:40 Where the northwind meets the sea ah ah ah ahhhh there’s a river ah ah ah ahh full of memory🎶 WOW!
Somehow it doesn’t sound the same without the piano and bass, but the strings by themselves really create a graceful little melody.
When it change from show yourself to When the north wind meets the seaaaaaa my godddddd beautiful
Likeeee that gave me goosebumps frrr🥹🥹 so beautiful
THAT'S A WORLD WITHOUT BASS. RESPECT THE BASS. Also that's awesome. I'm learning composition, this is a world of information right there.
I love how this version is a little different from the final version. 😍 Both are amazing but I love how this one sounds even more majestic 😍

C'est tout simplement parfait. Je n'ai jamais ressenti autant d'émotion dans une chanson de Disney auparavant. Mais c'est surréaliste !

Yes! And it was perfect!
But instrumental
Show yourself is the new let it go 💙
como habrá sido la del Jorobado de notre dame :(
Thankfully this is not the final version... It's all wrong in the slowly part
All the violins are to fast

I like how at the most epic part they just seem to take a five minute break - cut - and then they continue like nothing has happened. :D
