Hi there-I wanted to share how I trained bothy chickens and turkeys to go in at night...I used a "clicker"that I trained my dogs with ..I used treats and I would click and treat them throughout about 4 days..they began to associate the click noise with a treat ..which was their food..I kept their chicken/turkey food in my pocket with the clicker..so both were handy ..after a few days ago had them all following me around when they heard the click... nighttime became a breeze to get them in...I'm not sure you'll read this..but I hope you do and that you decide to try it...good luck and you all take care.... Everything looks wonderful at your home and studio! I love your channel..

Hello Elysia and Philip! I just learned something while vacation in Crete. They paint their bee hives in bright colors. They say that it makes bees more active and increases honey produce by 12%) I thought it was fun. Just wanted to share with you)

Confession Time: Your decorating colors I do not prefer. But somehow, your decorating skills make your colors absolutely stunning together! Wish I had your skill! My color base would be very light blues. When your men stained your studio steps, I went ape over the color! I luv, Luv, luv that stain color! Then I am sure I felt just like you did when you saw the dry steps. With enough coats I hope it becomes the color of your wet stains! Elishia, in your home studio, I love the way you did your name wall behind where you stand. Hope you do that in the studio house! Thank you MUCHLY MUCHLY MUCHLY for sharing your decorating styles to us decorating dummies!👍👍

I guess that’s why they say if your staining outside, make sure there’s no forecast of rain in the next couple of days. Never knew rain would do that to the wood though😲

Just an idea; The compass that you created for the side of the travel trailer would bring a part of your creative history to The Studio. Also a mural with Boston and London with the Boys, the turkeys and chickens . And of course the two of you. You have the creative talent to accomplish any decor you choose. The stain acts like it was frozen or got really hot. It may have been stored in the weather at a warehouse. A studio makes so much sense at this stage. Although I was hoping to spend a week there. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

I had a she shed and I loved it. Just a suggestion, since the electric is not completely done. I had my plugs put in half way down the wall. A lot easier to reach. Another thing I did was put plugs in the ceiling, keeps them up and out of the way. Hope this gives you something to think about! Love you guys ❤

Tip: What about using that Thompson Water Seal product? Also, maybe use wood conditioner first. When I stain, I only use the mini-wax products - I try and stick to the best, and what I've worked with for years.

I trained my chickens to come to treat treat. I have a red bucket and that has the treats, everything from cooked ground beef to finely chopped lettuce or a cob of corn. They come running when they hear me and see the red bucket. Thank heavens they are food driven! I can lock them into their pen any time of the day. Someone once gave me their food scraps, it contained rotten veggies, like no thank you, my girls have never had food that i wouldn't put on my plate. BTW they are 8 1\2 years old!
