I tried your tip of reading my resume when I'm high but I resultantly kept second-guessing myself and couldn't decide which would be the best wording for my bullets. Also got cheeto dust on my resume

thanks so much for this! i found the bullet builder tips to be super helpful. but quick question: is it generally ok to mix past and present tense verbs in the same bullet (as seen in both examples at 12:42)? i was always confused about this. thanks!

Haha "review it while high." Not bad advice; different perspectives are good. Are the resumes printed out when being reviewed or are they on a screen?

    Hi!
I see that the resume template is on one column, but in Europe the standard CV is more often on two. If I wanted to apply to a top consulting firm in Europe, which format do you think would be better, one or two columns?
    Thank you

      Hi there,
I kindly suggest that you should use the one column format, because of several reasons as below:
1/ One column is kinda more space-efficient, so if you have a lot of content (e.g many years of strong working experience), you should use it to elaborate more
2/ Although there is a difference in location, most consulting offices will accept one-column CVs since it is kind of the "standardized format" for consulting CV. Especially in MBB firms, there is a myth that their culture is heavily "American"
3/ Don't treat the format as the most important thing in your CV. The thing that matters more is the content you put in your CV. So I believe that one column or two column does not matter that much if you have a list of worthy experience and skillset to showcase to the assessors.
      Hope this helps ;)
