Great effort in putting all these complex topics together. The story aspect of the presentation is really good which helps the viewer to absorb the details and at the same time understand the big picture.
Hello fiend !! Greetingss from Costa Rica, I'm in the middle of a recruiting process for the Service Desk Specialist position, I'm nervous and excited at the same time and this video have just given me a boost to the excitment. I'd really like to start working here. What an amazing company!!
You did a great job explaining the operating structure. But still don’t understand the money side. Who gets to keep the ultimate profit? Does the project owners keep it all?
Huge Value, I Really appreciate the information in the video, I was wondering though if other consulting companies use the same structure or even any kind of other companies use this structure?
Kim, you are still missing a video about on how to make a power point / prezy presentation in consulting. Besides that, it would be nice if you can make a video on the function of the Mckinsey Content Library -PD, and another video on how does the Mckinsey Fund aka Mckinsey Investment Office, or also know as MÍO Partners, operates within the Firm!
Can you get into a consulting firm without a degree? I wanted to transition out of the Construction trades that I've been in for the last 18yrs. to work in an entry level position with a Construction consulting firm applying my experience from the field.
Great video. Had a question - why are consulting firms so fascinated with powerpoint presentations? Surely its an outdated mode of expression. RUclips creators make excellent explainers which look and sound far better than static slides. A client would be much happier looking at a well made RUclips style video. Could firms not look at retaining RUclips creators?
This is a great question, worth creating a whole new video on. Short answer: the key difference is that a slide is more versatile. You can present on it. You can print it. Client (with different departments with complex politics) can study it, cite it, etc.
Hey Kim, great video. I was just wondering how does Panorama fit under this? There's both consultants, as well as research specialists that contribute to the banking information. Do these research specialist also get client facing?
looks a little difficult to manage such a huge consulting company; the more specialist you have , the better quality you may offer , but the high cost you need to afford!
