Can I just say I really appreciate the "real life" videos that you share. I am a mom of a 6 year old boy and his room is always a mess no matter what I do to try and help him keep his room clean. He has also wanted more room in his room to play and to have his dog in there to sleep and play with. Thank you for sharing and for all your hard work, you are very inspiring!

I love these beds. I have 3 kids a 14 yr old son who has his own room, 4 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son. My youngest 2 share a room. These beds are the best thing ever. The day you uploaded the video of you guys at IKEA was the day I was on the hunt for them. Then you uploaded a video of you guys putting them together. 2 weeks later both beds were shipped to me. I never would of known about these beds if I wasn't subscribed to your channel. So thanks girl!
@@MomLikely Right now we have them in the loft style. So that all of their toys can go under the bed. It gives them more space in their room and is easier to keep things organized (they have a small room). I put curtains up with a shower rod so that I don't have to see all the stuff and it makes them fill like they have their own space from each other.
We have 3 daughters (all are now in their 30's and my oldest is 40) but boy seeing you and your girls going through all those toys sure takes me back!!!! Awesome job Mom!!!
I was saying from the beginning of the video- 'where does all the trash come from?' Every time you clean you toss out. I even wondered if they were finding it and bringing some back into their room...😁😁 Anyway great job as usual. Blessings upon your family. Stay safe!
I only have one girl and her room was worse. She claims she doesn’t want a dirty room anymore now that I’ve deep cleaned it 😆 We shall see. Thanks for the motivation ❤️

Here’s a little trick that I do you to get my kids to pick up , Because they’re old enough to pick up after themselves I tell them at the end of the night whatever toys are not picked up and put back in their toy bin they will be thrown in the trash when they are asleep and I will go in the room and I will throw the toys away that are not put away so they learned her lesson so every night now they put their toys away after they’re done and I’m telling you after a couple of times of you throwing away their toys trust me they will clean up after themselves
Desiree Serna I struggle with that too that my 6 year old would rather me throw toys in the trash bc it’s easier for her & she’s use to it now lol 🥺 I have a new strategy “You can’t play video games”
CaveFam TV There you go take a video games away turn off the Wi-Fi! Same thing I take my daughters electronics away her tablet if her chores in her room isn’t clean the only thing she’s going to be doing for that day he is reading a book and cleaning her room
It doesn't bother me much since I don't clean it up now. But if their room is messy they can't have any friends over. I have them pick up a bit through the week it's just after a month of them Cleaning their own room. A lot gets left out and that when I go in and I throw toys out each month and trash. That's why I don't clean in here much in videos because they do a pretty good job most weeks. I am implementing this in the other parts of the house though. A quick nightly pick up because j can't stand the stuff everywhere else. Lol
We are definitely gonna get better with time. The house used to be such a bad distater if you look back but I've been slowly and surely developing routines that work. The night time pick up is something I want next on the chore list but for now I'm still mostly focus on the other parts of the house vs their room.
Love your videos, I watch faithfully but I have a 7 & 11 year old & I let them watch this video to show them how their rooms should never look... I know this is a lot for you to do but just a few rules could help you out tremendously. I have anxiety as well & I'm praying for you guys!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you momma! No we have made MANY changes. That's why you don't see me clean their room very often anymore because they do a good job on their own. Usually the last week of the month I don't really ask them to do much aside from laundry because I know I'm going in to do my deep cleaning..I don't expect them to move stuff and wipe everything yet but for the majority of the month they are responsible for their own space and they help me during my cleaning aswell plus they have other chores. I'm not sure when you started watching but we have come such a long way in our home since before we started decluttering. Not perfect but I'm thankful for the progress we have mad and the routines Im working on.
Love your videos, may I ask why you don’t teach your children to help clean up after themselves...for example cleaning their stuff off the walls or picking up their own trash?
Good job momma. You can put a curtain there in place of the door. What about an dry erase board by the closet door if they want to write. Crayola also has the markers that only writes on the special paper too. Put a 13 trash can in the corner by their bed so they can toss their non food trash in to assist in keeping their room clean.
Boy....motivation at its Best....it looks good...Im assuming they both want to share space with Connor.... because I was thinking that you can just flip the beds in the same spot they were in. We did go out to Menards today because the handle to our storm door broke plus some we needed some cauking because we are thinking of painting our living room. We also picked up a little bit of grocery and snacks... 😁 while we were there then we came home wiped everything coming into the house then replaced the door handle and did a little caulking. Now just having some coffee and watching you....not sure we plan to do today.
Sounds fun.lol been in the house for weeks apart from my grocery haul. I really wanna paint our living room to. What color are you going with? I was gonna give our hardware Lowe's a call and see if we can get a pick up. I'm gonna have to go back in a week to refresh our snacks and produce. I'm using today as a recoup day. I'm also watching RUclips videos and a movie tonight with the girls.

Loved it girl! If you have some cute colourful curtains or different type of fabrics you can put them around the bed frame to make it look more fun for then and bring more colour to the room or some lights x
I feel you on the bunkbed crummies annoyance lol i feel like such a helicopter mom about it too and they still manage to have a trail of the same things behind them and under the matresses. Girl....all 3 of my kids went to town with permenant marker in my daughters room over christmas.....it took me 2 solid weeks of scrubbing the furniture and walls i ended up painting the bunks because i was so just done scrubbing.
I know it's hilarious what hides. Lol and OMG permenant marker is the devil 😂🤦🏽♀️ very scary on anything fabric or wood. I did find it comes off of surfaces if you go over it with a dry erase marker it will peel it off. But I've been there with my first she Did that on the wall. Wooosaah. Lol
@@MomLikely I used hand sanitizer and this was right before the quarrantine things....it was a nightmare. On every single surface. Im so happy its over but i did restrict every writing utensil in the entire house. I couldnt keep up!
@@MomLikely Oh girl....let me tell you....i used EVERYTHING...i used bleach, toothpaste, baking soda and lemon, essential oils etc AND HAND SANITIZER TOOK THAT Picasso RIGHT OFF. I mean i still had to scrub. Like REALLY put my whole body into it! This was like a blue sharpie/blue paint pen idk where the hell it came from. On bright white furniture. It did take the paint off some spots....but we are living at my moms house since my husband passed away....and i could not live with the family gossip that would take place if i moved out and left ANYTHING messed up.

Yes Shawna!! You're killing it with these videos! Watched the last video and now this one, great motivation as always girl! You're not alone at all! All moms can relate to their kids having a lot of toys lol. I can't tell you the # of times I have decluttered my kids stuff and found random things in their toys or stuff they invented lol. My daughter's definitely have a lot of knick knacks, my youngest loves rocks and has a collection of them. Your daughters are such good helpers, I meant to leave a comment on the last video and commend them for helping out. Keep up the great work 😊!

I need this so badly right now. Some motivation to declutter during these days stuck at home! I love seeing how you guys make small spaces work. We're in the same boat, and honestly, I prefer it. Huge rooms just give me more space to store/hide/hoard stuff, haha!
Haha I know what you mean but I would definitely never oppose a bigger space.lol but I feel that way about our bedroom now. We made it over to where what we need has a home and there is no room for anything else so it's easy to keep organized.

The vaccuum you was using yo vaccum the crevices of the frame can be used to clean the mattress and you will be surprised and love all the dust it removes from the mattresses

When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. This is a Dyson v7. It works nicely but the battery power isn't very good. But it is convenient. I'll be making a video about it within the next couple weeks.
