I was a divorced, single mom. I worked two jobs and picked up odd jobs from mowing to painting rooms, etc. The cleaning job I had as PT my daughter could go with me. I had no vac and no Washer or Dryer. Many a times I had to wash clothes out on my hands. My home was not perfect. When she got into baton and parades, then cheerleading, winterguard and flag girl, I had little to no time for cleaning. Our way was if it's on the floor, it's out the door. She was a trooper! She became responsible for her room and most of the time she did great. We worked toward presentable. Perfect is not on the table. Now she's married, works from home and has FIVE kids!!! Shes amazing and they work for presentable! Hang in their you working and single moms! You're okay! Thanks for sharing!

I am a full-time single mom with 2 jobs,(1 full-time 1 part-time)2 kids and 1 cat, I transport my daughter to school, my son to/ from work, however, I have something in my head that says my house have to be clean, if not I think about it in my sleep, or I feel like I'm grossed out...please tell me the technique of letting it go so, I don't carry so much, I don't feel tired through it all and my kids help a little, but they focus is on school and activities...how do you just let it go without feeling itchy and gross??
I love your positivity. I have a hard time keeping my home organized and tidy, but I try to not let it get to me. What’s important is spending time with my family, the mess can wait.
Through all your videos you never complain, judge or say you’re miserable with your home the way it is… everything is always positive, giving us advice on how to let the least important tasks can wait a bit while you enjoy your family. I have wood floors similar to yours and they literally scratch and look dusty when they’re not, seems that they don’t get clean, what do you use to clean them?
I love that you have got that from my videos. I’ve always tried to make that point ❤️ that’s actually a great cleaning idea! 😁 When I’m off I usually only use a little dish soap or Lysol with hot water. And I’ve also steam cleaned in the past. I have the vinyl plank flooring so it’s a little tricky to shine but there are specific product to use on it as opposed to shining like hardwood floor. I’m gonna find one to try

Keeping a house where a lot of messes are created clean is so tough. Especially when conditions like adhd play a role or when both parents work a lot. My family has always struggled with this too. I moved out a year and a half ago and now live with flat mates. I'm slowly learning how to keep a routine, how to work together and what it feels like to come home to a clean place with space to actually live in. Thank you so much for being brave and showing your journey. You inspire so many ❤️
New here! I'm a working wife and mom. I have three daughters, and I can relate! It's nice to see a working mom tackling big messes because I can really relate. I work tons of hours and take call on top of all that. I'm so tired after work that it's hard to be motivated to get it taken care of all the time. I haven’t had a garage sale in about 10 years and I think I’ll either be having one this year or maybe doing like an online one through Facebook because there’s a lot 😂
This is the second video I've seen of yours. You are a very thorough house cleaner, but it would be so much easier on you if everyone in your household would just pick up after themselves every day. I raised two sons and we never had messes like that. Good luck to you.

Thank you for posting this video. My house gets just as messy and I often beat myself up bad despite my husband reassuring me that it’s normal because we have 2 toddlers and a 10 year old. No matter how much I clean they mess it up and I’m starting to get depressed because I’m overwhelmed. I don’t have anyone who can watch the babies while I clean so in between naps I try to get all cooking and cleaning done and I nurse so the youngest is always on me and is up all night. I feel depressed and don’t want to get out of the bed today and ignore the mess and the screaming kids and more. I see other with such a pristine house all over and I want that but it Doesn’t seem attainable at this moment in my life but seeing your video helps me see that I may be to hard on myself too you said some really important things that my husband was also saying and I was thinking that he isn’t a woman and Doesn’t understand that the house is a reflection of me but you helped me understand what he is saying about going easier in myself and only do what I can because we have enough in our plates.
Wear your baby while cleaning! This is what I did when my youngest was born and breast feeding.... Don't worry so much mama... You are keeping people alive and caring for them. Do a small bit at a time. Start sharing small chores with your kids who can help... Make it fun and then reward you all with something fun (pizza party - easy clean up and trip to park (gets them out and let's you keep a clean home for a night). It's never ending but we are only one person. Don't be so hard on yourself. Things will get easier!!
I understand. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. You have to focus on this season of life and when you need you time, couple time, child one on one time out the tasks aside and then get back to them when you can. Our relationships and mental health are more important than aesthetics. The far degree of focus should be function. I try to keep dishes and clothes cleaned so we can eat, shower, and be off to school and work. When the kids were little I would also do my tasks in the morning and just ride out the rest of the day and give them attention.
Just remember, when we die- no one remembers us for how messy or clean our houses were. Lol Don’t beat yourself up over it- you’ll get back on your feet before you know it!
Here I am in bed watching before I go to sleep and Im 19 minutes in and Im already wanting to get up and clean our bedroom....lol Im gonna be way motivated for tomorrow morning. Thanks!!!! 😁
I have a hint. Get a basket for each family member with their name on their basket. Put their bath supplies in there basket and get a place to stores their baskets. Each family member can only use from their basket. This really helps as they become teenagers . Declutter the sink area so it can simply wiped down each day.

I really your videos. I love you're not cleaning an already clean house. I love it's real, sometimes our Homes get super crazy and it feels like there's no coming back. However I do wish you would talk a bit more. Especially when I'm cleaning with you. You'll be picking stuff up then next thing I know you're cleaning the couch lol. Tells us about your day the ups and down let us get to know you. Try to get to know us. So when we're cleaning it feels like we're doing with a friend.

It is! For the longest I struggled trying to keep up with what I thought was normal seeing other people do but they didn’t have to be gone long periods or stuck on time schedules so I might have more mess when I get the time but I do the same things! 🫠🧼💕
I have a basement much worse than yours. The upstairs is in good shape but that basement, omg. I was planning to get a lot of it done this winter but have just had a surgery on my hand. I’m still planning to get down there just not today. It’ll happen. Love your videos and your laundry shoot. ❤
I love watching your videos I suffer from depression and lack motivation but I love watching your videos. Can I ask you never put top sheet’s on or blankets on the beds is it summer there in these videos and super hot at night. I’m in Australia 🇦🇺
It takes 2-3 months, but, taking a fish oil capsule (popping a hole in it and squirting it on the dog food DAILY) will eliminate dog hair at least 80%. We had a golden retriever and he shedded A LOT. After I started doing the fish oil, it was more tolerable.
Great job the next time you clean the toilet add baking soda after you put in the Lysol talk about clean up and shiny been meaning to share that with you for years
I just did a quick Google search and this is what it said “you should never mix Lysol with vinegar or baking soda. Lysol is an acidic cleaner while vinegar and baking soda are both bases. When these products are mixed together, they create a chemical reaction that produces harmful chlorine gas.” 😩😰 I’m sure it probably hasn’t been harmful because it’s probably just mixed and then flushed but don’t let it sit there might not be good to breathe in

No judgment here, but personally I can’t stand walking on top of stuff in the floor. At my age I’m afraid of slipping and failing on something. I’ve fallen several times and it’s scary. I praying I don’t break something. Too many people depend on me.
It is scary. I yell at the kids for night time. Cause with my vision idea I’m blind at night and I have slipped on a hanger before and it was almost not good. This happening was really just the result of not being home so it was a mad house.
I think if something spills off a desk onto the wall it should be cleaned up immediately. Certainly, repeated messed as this can cause ants. A nine-year-old can clean up her messes. She would want to show pride in her beautiful bedroom. You work hard Mom, she sees that and should want to maintain her room so you have less to do. Arlene
No judgement here but maybe have your kids put laundry in a basket and garbage in a can every night before bed. That alone would save you so much time. I know kids make messes. I have two boys. ❤
I’m just curious. I’m a SAHM. I am in charge of everything in the house. I do have task my family to up keep and clean up after themselves. Because I don’t feel. Like as a SAHM my job is to run around cleaning up over & over & over again. I feel like when there’s able bodies in the home. Everyone should chip in when it comes to maintaining the house. Husbands and kids. It’s not fair to a Mom to over exhaust themselves either. Because yeah we get to it when we get to it. And presentable not perfect model is understandable. But still doesn’t work when one person has to than clean everything. As mom we deserve to be shown compassion and respect as well. Watching you clean everything while no one helped. Made me feel so bad for you. And you work as well. They need to better at helping you Mom.
Yes everyone has been required to chip in. They have chores and we are learning how to use the supplies this year like the cleaning chemicals and tools. The main issue is just lack of time. Some days we are not home at all so we have a week worth of tasks shoved into 4 days of clean up, outings, rest, and household stock up. Factoring in sleep time, shower time, and some time to do nothing you can see how having too much time on one tasks can take away from others quickly in a day. We are aiming for mondays that everyone will chip in and work together and our individual routines will take time to cultivate.
Hello , I'm new to you and good content, but my question is are you teaching your children that things are disposable I see you throwing perfectly good pencil for instance away do you just buy more when they no longer have any , I have the same problem with my grandchildren they don't care about the things they have "because they will just get more" how do they learn to value the things they have and take care of it,I'm not criticizing you it's a problem that's generation related I think I know when I was younger we had much much less belongings so we knew we had to take care of them , but they don't know how hard people work for money it's not infinite for most people 🤔
Yes I used to struggle a lot because families provided excess and with out space and lack of organization I had no way to contain it. These days I don’t rebuy. Unfortunately they just go without until a holiday. It’s just the younger one I struggle with. But having a good way to display and organize “supplies” I think keeps it fun and helps teach them to put away. Another tip would be say if you buy a 10pack of pencils , only give a couple and let it be empty and the. They are excited for more and they don’t go to waste. My dogs eat supplies so for their safety if my kids don’t clean it up I just toss it I’d I have to dig through trash.
I think you work far too hard. Please tell me why your kids can't throw their kaundry down the shutes??. Or why your kids can't put their shoes up in the containers?? I worked around the hose at 13 years old, and I always have a clean house today. My friend never cleaned, and her house was never clean. It's OK for them to dig in and fi a little more than just besides their room. It will help you, and it will help them in the process. A d I only say this because it my heart yo see you work so hard. You're a beautiful lady, and you deserve a little more help!

When my niece was little I made dry erase boards out of picture frames with things like her clean up list. They even helped sometimes lol 😂

They do have their chores but we have a hectic schedules right now. The girls could help more with laundry though lol wouldn’t mind that

I work outside the home too so it’s a struggle to keep up the house with everything else going on! But we do it!
It is! For the longest I struggled trying to keep up with what I thought was normal seeing other people do but they didn’t have to be gone long periods or stuck on time schedules so I might have more mess when I get the time but I do the same things! 🫠🧼💕
I have a basement much worse than yours. The upstairs is in good shape but that basement, omg. I was planning to get a lot of it done this winter but have just had a surgery on my hand. I’m still planning to get down there just not today. It’ll happen. Love your videos and your laundry shoot. ❤

How do you like that vacuum compared to a regular one? It has dot get full a lot quicker??
It takes 2-3 months, but, taking a fish oil capsule (popping a hole in it and squirting it on the dog food DAILY) will eliminate dog hair at least 80%. We had a golden retriever and he shedded A LOT. After I started doing the fish oil, it was more tolerable.

I just did a quick Google search and this is what it said “you should never mix Lysol with vinegar or baking soda. Lysol is an acidic cleaner while vinegar and baking soda are both bases. When these products are mixed together, they create a chemical reaction that produces harmful chlorine gas.” 😩😰 I’m sure it probably hasn’t been harmful because it’s probably just mixed and then flushed but don’t let it sit there might not be good to breathe in

No judgment here, but personally I can’t stand walking on top of stuff in the floor. At my age I’m afraid of slipping and failing on something. I’ve fallen several times and it’s scary. I praying I don’t break something. Too many people depend on me.
It is scary. I yell at the kids for night time. Cause with my vision idea I’m blind at night and I have slipped on a hanger before and it was almost not good. This happening was really just the result of not being home so it was a mad house.
I think if something spills off a desk onto the wall it should be cleaned up immediately. Certainly, repeated messed as this can cause ants. A nine-year-old can clean up her messes. She would want to show pride in her beautiful bedroom. You work hard Mom, she sees that and should want to maintain her room so you have less to do. Arlene

No judgement here but maybe have your kids put laundry in a basket and garbage in a can every night before bed. That alone would save you so much time. I know kids make messes. I have two boys. ❤

I’m just curious. I’m a SAHM. I am in charge of everything in the house. I do have task my family to up keep and clean up after themselves. Because I
don’t feel. Like as a SAHM my job is to run around cleaning up over & over & over again. I feel like when there’s able bodies in the home. Everyone should chip in when it comes to maintaining the house. Husbands and kids. It’s not fair to a Mom to over exhaust themselves either. Because yeah we get to it when we get to it. And presentable not perfect model is understandable. But still doesn’t work when one person has to than clean everything. As mom we deserve to be shown compassion and respect as well. Watching you clean everything while no one helped. Made me feel so bad for you. And you work as well. They need to better at helping you Mom.
Yes everyone has been required to chip in. They have chores and we are learning how to use the supplies this year like the cleaning chemicals and tools. The main issue is just lack of time. Some days we are not home at all so we have a week worth of tasks shoved into 4 days of clean up, outings, rest, and household stock up. Factoring in sleep time, shower time, and some time to do nothing you can see how having too much time on one tasks can take away from others quickly in a day. We are aiming for mondays that everyone will chip in and work together and our individual routines will take time to cultivate.
Hello , I'm new to you and good content, but my question is are you teaching your children that things are disposable I see you throwing perfectly good pencil for instance away do you just buy more when they no longer have any , I have the same problem with my grandchildren they don't care about the things they have "because they will just get more" how do they learn to value the things they have and take care of it,I'm not criticizing you it's a problem that's generation related I think I know when I was younger we had much much less belongings so we knew we had to take care of them , but they don't know how hard people work for money it's not infinite for most people 🤔
Yes I used to struggle a lot because families provided excess and with out space and lack of organization I had no way to contain it. These days I don’t rebuy. Unfortunately they just go without until a holiday. It’s just the younger one I struggle with. But having a good way to display and organize “supplies” I think keeps it fun and helps teach them to put away.
Another tip would be say if you buy a 10pack of pencils , only give a couple and let it be empty and the. They are excited for more and they don’t go to waste.
My dogs eat supplies so for their safety if my kids don’t clean it up I just toss it I’d I have to dig through trash.

I worked around the hose at 13 years old, and I always have a clean house today. My friend never cleaned, and her house was never clean. It's OK for them to dig in and fi a little more than just besides their room. It will help you, and it will help them in the process. A d I only say this because it my heart yo see you work so hard. You're a beautiful lady, and you deserve a little more help!
